Hahaha the eyebrows, right?! It was a good one, it gave it so much away. A lot of possible scenarios, my guess is that he *definitely* knew who Timothée Chalamet was as soon as he saw the picture and realised it was the cute guy from the Call Me By Your Name. And I totally understand that he thought the reaction was not appropriate and wanted to do it again 😂😂 I mean, no matter your interpretation of the facts.. it wasn't the most heterosexual reaction, was it.

SoccerAM anon here again with an update!! IM CRYING CUZ LOUIS IS SO CARING, some dudes there were thanking Louis for writing TOU because it helped them grieve. They were cuddling and exchanging stories (obvs not gonna go deep into that). They talked about soccer and vape flavors afterwards. Almost everyone of the guys LOVED OOMS and showed their Most Played in Spotify to him. It was just so awesome. The guy I'm dating even told Louis (IM SHAKING AND CRYING) that he serenaded me with "Always You" for me to say "yes" to date him and Louis chuckled and said "Nice man, happy you got the girl!". Ngl, until now my guy hasn't stop talking about Louis' eyes and I'm feeling a mixture of jealousness and love. Anyways, might plan on saying "yes" also to this guy IF he proposed to me at the FITFWT HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It's so great to finally found someone that loves Louis the same way I do, you know? Talking about Louis hiring mostly men - this is probably not very fair to men (lol) but I can't help but wonder if he surrounds himself with mostly (we assume) cishet white men is in part because they're more likely to just... take him at face value? Like, if he's not bringing all of these people in on the secret, then maybe it's easier for him to deal with people who don't necessarily have the emotional intelligence to pick up on any red flags or pick at any holes in his story re: Eleanor/bbg/his sexuality. lololol i feel like this sounds so bad but my experience with my friends who are cishet men is that they have been socialized not to talk about feelings or relationships unless prodded, so it could just be a comfortable arrangement for louis, that this stuff won't get brought up unless he wants it to.

just getting perpetually disappointed by the lack of emotional intelligence in men makes you… readjust your world view.

don’t get me wrong, I really really like Louis and his team seem - compared to most other men - like really, really good men. But I do feel like men in general are socialised and raised in a way that it will take a long time until they’re catching up with people who’ve been socialised as women and girls.

so I can see your way of thinking here, and it might not even be a conscious choice - just that he doesn’t get challenged nonstop by the women around him who see the things that don’t add up.

it kinda reminds me of my headcanon of Lottie calling him out on his mean girlfriend haha
