So in my most recent playthrough of The Quarry, I noticed something in the freezer.
Why is there a random ass half-eaten jar of pickles, in the fucking freezer? Like, a fridge makes sense, but a freezer? Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks that's weird.

the only assignment left for this semester is my Economics Final
it's due by midnight tomorrow
#so close to being done#not doing it tonight because I need to finish going over my notes and it's already midnight#don't take tests after 9pm#the test is only like an hour long so it'll be a lot more prep time then the test itself will take#but then I'll finally be free for the summer#so for tonight I'm going to check my messages and relax for a little bit before working on my room some more#my craft area is so close to being done#I'm terrified of tackling the closet#most of it is currently long term/deep storage for random stuff#since the apartment has very little storage space#all of my clothes are stored on one of those clothing rack things you can get from the store

doing a massive batch of scanning today (digitizing all my traditional artwork from the last two years that i can find) so i'm hoping there's some previously unreleased stuff in there i can touch up and share sometime soon
#long term goal is to digitize everything i've preserved since 2013 (of which i've saved a lot!!! i keep all my school journals)#but ummm. storage. and i basically gotta schedule an appointment to borrow this nice scanner. it's a whole ordeal. one day!#but yeah almost everything i've drawn since i lost the house (fall 2021) i should still have...so exciting#it's funny how many of these are doodles from post its and discarded tickets i drew when there was nothing to cook at work lol

#charlie babbles#there's nothing wrong with downstairs I'm just very good at short quick easy projects and horrible at long-term anything#and upstairs is. longterm. there's two rooms full of boxes#and we still! have nowhere to put anything!#because we weren't able to go scour lawn sales for bookshelves and other cheap storage/display furniture#we have lovely plastic bins that I'll be transferring everything we're keeping into and stacking and that WILL be better than the boxes#but I have to do it alone because mom can't get upstairs cousin's recovering from surgery and friend has no time#other friends are still in the tender reconnect stage where I can't just right into asking for help with my horrid house#weh. wah. waaaah even.

I believe John said in 1980 that he stopped dropping acid because it was "chemical" (as opposed to weed and heroin maybe?)
My poor boys, trying to STEM – pls somebody stop them.
(Now I'm wondering if George put all his drugs under a microscope...)
I'm also actually fairly interested in the actual neuroscience behind drugs and wonder if understanding that stuff would've made the boys more wary of them or possibly like them more.
