Lani's 2nd DTIYS !
I've been promising to do another DTIYS challenge for a while but got really busy. If you participated in it last time, you'll notice that the prompts are almost the same.
There are 2 prompts to choose from.
Draw Lani like the first image
Draw Lani on an adventure with your OC
What if Lani showed up just for a little while in your Legend of Arceus timeline? Or what if they showed up in Pasio? What What wacky adventure would your oc go on with Lani?
You have a lot of freedom with this as long as it follows the rules. This is not meant to be explicit or NSFW. This is wholesome fun in which your OC just hangs out with Lani for a bit.
On top of that, challenge winners could receive really good prizes! If you are worried if your art isn't good enough, don't. I'm judging these on their heart or how much they make me laugh🤣 It's supposed to be fun. If we get enough entries, I’ll be adding prizes

My entry for @cecilioque 's An Adventure with Lani art challenge!! Lani and my player character riding the waves :D I have terrible balance irl so this is true to me lol I would rely on basculegion instead of actually surfing.

SO THE BONUS
for a while now I've wanted to redraw my piece from the first art challenge. It was the very first thing I drew that was PLA/Submas fandom related, and I have come a long way since then. So here it is
Lani and I are climbing the big tree in Lord Electrode's area, thats why Melli is upset. Ingo is there for supervision.
Now for closeups, the original, and the very first little concept sketches I made for these back in October 2022 (cause the surfing was actually my secondary plan for that 😂)

I saw @cecilioque had a dtiys event for their oc Lani and thought it’s a good excuse to draw Roseli but also practice some comic format stuff. (Not that I need an excuse to be self indulgent, but hey this makes me feel more productive when drawing so I’ll take it. And also this is fun?? Maybe I’ll do something like this for my own ocs in the future.)
I know Tauros are ride Pokémon in Alola, so maybe Lani mistook this one as a public ride? The saddle isn’t what she’s probably used to for a ride Pokémon. Luckily Oscar, despite being a Paldean Tauros, isn’t aggressive at all and just seems…confused at this interaction.
I feel like this is a first meeting. Roseli doesn’t know Lani yet, but is used to dealing with people who are like her. Luckily, Oscar didn’t get spooked and decide to make her mashed potatoes, so she’s relieved. (She just has a resting bitch face)

So I started this comic way back in November for @cecilioque ‘s DTIYS contest. However around the third panel I had major art block so I only just finished it now.
Ashe is my Pokémon legends Arceus character who ended up joining the Diamond Clan.
Lani belongs to Cecilioque.
