The replacement for Lamborghini's original 400 GT model was only in production for a year with just 100 Islero S models leaving the factory

Lamborghini Islero 

Built as a replacement for the 400GT, the Islero was introduced at the 1968 Geneva Auto Show. Its name, like the earlier Miura and Espada models, was inspired by Spanish bullfighting. Styling is by Carrozzeria Marazzi, and aluminum bodywork is wrapped over a tubular steel chassis. The car had impressive performance for the era, including a 0-60 time of about six and a half seconds and a top speed in excess of 150 mph. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a suite of Jaeger instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, ammeter, fuel-level indicator, oil and water temperature gauges, and an oil pressure gauge. The clock was also rebuilt and the wiring for the wipers, turn signals, and headlights was repaired. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a suite of Jaeger instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer, 8k-rpm tachometer, ammeter, fuel-level indicator, oil and water temperature gauges, and an oil pressure gauge. The clock was also rebuilt by the current owner and the wiring for the wipers, turn signals, and headlights was repaired. The 3.9L quad-cam V12 was rated for 325 horsepower when new and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Induction is handled by six Weber carburetors. The engine was removed for cosmetic detailing by the owner, including repainting the air cleaner housings and coolant expansion tank. The clutch slave cylinder was also repaired and a new ignition coil, spark plugs, and heater hoses were installed.

The Lamborghini Islero V12 was the GT 400's successor and debuted at the 1968 Geneva Auto Show. The 2+2 Coupè immediately highlighted Lamborghini's expertise in terms of engine output, chassis, and overall performance.

Hoy hace 1 año fotografie la Estatua de MANOLETE q le mató el toro ISLERO [=Proyecto nuclear español y LAMBORGHINI q nombraba sus coches con TAUROMAQUIA..y yo prefiero un CORVETTE STING_RAY CONVERTIBLE para hacer honor a la canción LITTLE RED CORVETTE del apocaliptico cd 1999 del MALOGRADO PRINCE]..en LINARES [localidad de naci_miento de VIRGINIA MAESTRO y RAPHAEL q colaboraron con EN PIE del cd INFINITOS BAILES del q hizo la gira LOCO POR CANTAR..y apellido del CAMARA DE FUTBOL aficionado al BETIS en el q inculcaba a sus HIJAS al igual q en la MUSICA q al trasladarse a MIAMI le dio un INFARTO CEREBRAL y palmo con 41 años=edad de VIRGINIA MAESTRO]..mientras pasaba por el METRO un tipo con un CARRITO CARGADO DE GARRAFAS DE AGUA.

También pasé x la cafetería de mi barrio 9 de NOVIEMBRE [dia de la Patrona de MADRID o ALMUDENA y cumpleaños de mi madre] donde tenían el lema SUEÑA AMORES..NO PUTOS IDOLOS DE ORO

También x el cementerio de CANILLEJAS donde está la tumba de la familia BERNABEU y la cafetería VEGA q me recuerda a PASION VEGA cuya madre murió cuando un RAYO corto la cabeza al CRISTO DE VERA [=CIERTO], a la actriz sevillana PAZ VEGA [q folla como peli PORNO en FOR_MEN_T_ERA="para hombres CRUZ era"..donde se rodó LUCIA Y EL SEXO..y que a continuacion HIZO "NADIE CONOCE A NADIE" q acaba diciendo EDUARDO NORIEGA "EL DEMONIO ESTA EN LA VIRGEN"] y a la Triunfita Mercedes MIGEL CARPIO alias VEGA q se caso un MARTES Y 13 así como se embarco con un DIVORCIADO dueño de cerveza ESTRELLA GALICIA y que poso con VIRGINIA MAESTRO con una CRUZ en el dorso de la MANO
