1- Primos

Mira mijo para mí toda la polémica estuvo bien pendeja, ya que todo el crew del show fue puesto en el mismo saco de boxeo por las declaraciones de Myrna Velasco, como persona que conoce a Natasha Kline desde su trabajo en Big City Greens te puedo asegurar por Dieguito Maradona que no es un demonio como otras personas en el internet la están poniendo.

El show NO es sobre la cultura mexicana es sobre la cultura chicana en Los Angeles y como persona que se vio el piloto filtrado antes de que un chistosito lo subiera para crear bardo te digo que es lo mas harmless y inocentón del mundo, los que se están quejando son gente que solo lo hace para crear ragebait y farmear vistas.

2- Zombies The Re-Animated Series

Not really my thing since the movies where "eh" for me but those days i was sick, so i recall the songs, happy for Aliki and the team tho, probably will watch it when i rewatch the films.

3- StuGo

Really interested for this one specially since this one is slated to be Disney TVA's 100th Series, so im curious if Disney will have some kind of event planned besides that, the synopsis is interesting also this show had multiple people of Jellystone! and the crew from the axed CN movie Driftwood on board, so i think it will be interesting as the show saved this people from being jobless.

Just realized that is called "STUGO" beacuse they are STUdents stuck three months on a wild tropical island, so they need to "GO".

Heh. It's like a pun or something. Heheh.

4 - Cookies & Milk

Apparently this is the second project from the Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur EPs, i wonder how will they handle a down to earth slice of life series, imagine if they hire Flying Bark again becoming their first slice of life project with the Rise/LEGO/MGADD animation lol

5- Rhona Who Lives By The River

I like how the concept art has a Cartoon Saloon vibe and wondering how will translate to stop-motion which is interesting, i like Karen Gillian for her role as Nebula on GOTG trilogy, what i wonder is how Disney will handle the show with the Elfman scandal, will they quietly drop it without any mention of Elfman like MAX did with Fired on Mars EP or finding a new composer for Season 2.

6- The Witchverse

I played the VR short recently and OMG is so cute and adorable, the world they created has a big potential for multiple storylines, hoping S1 is more focused on Magda, Sasha (Yeah they have to change her name) and her mother, their relationship was so adorable, hope Daisy Ridley returns for the full series.

7- InterCats

Apparently this will be Disney's first workplace comedy series for YA audiences and it sounds cute, apparently is co-created by one of the Nimona screenwritters Pamela Ribon, so that's a plus.

8- Fantasy Sports

Super looking forward to this one, i loved the original novels and hoping Disney makes justice to Sam Bosma's world and characters, i can see Wiz and Mug becoming perfect additions to crosspromotion events at ESPN.

9- SuperStar

BTW just like to mention that i named it SuperStar as a placeholder title, the show dosn't have a name as of yet, based on the cast call we can see that Alejandra is latina so maybe it's a mixture between MGADD and Hannah Montana, wonder which person created the show.

10.- Journey

Since we don't know it's creator is very hard to tell what to expect BUT the synopsis is interesting kinda a awnser to LEGEND OF VOX MACHIMA but more family friendly, im wonder if this is the project created by Amy Hudkins, Ian Mutchler and Jonathon Wallach since they like Dungeons and Dragons, Legend Of Zelda and Magic The Gathering.

11- La Familia Avenúñez

It's a spin-off of The Proud Family Louder And Prouder with a latino cast pues suena chido la vdd, esperemos que cuando se anuncie no ocurra lo mismo que Primos.

12 - Dog And Frog, Neon Galaxy, Sam Witch

They don't have creator or synopsis as of yet besides a title revealed via a trademark, so it's hard to give overall thoughts

13- Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin Reboots

After TMNT Mutant Mayhem, The Boys, The Boys Diabolical and Invincible im confident that Rogen's team will do Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin justice and wishing good luck to the crew behind them.

Disney Announces Details On D23 Brazil Event

Disney has announced details on the first-ever D23 event it will be running in Brazil, which will be the first time Disney is bringing the D23 experience to Latin America, where fans can explore the latest from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, National Geographic, and more at this multi-day event—that will include interactive experiences, exclusive shopping, and entertainment for all ages.

The event will take place on November 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2024, at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

For Disney Television Animation fans, the event takes place 1 month before the studio's 40th anniversary so we could expect some announcements for them or information on latino-driven series like "Hamster & Gretel", "Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur" and "Primos" and the upcoming latino-driven series like “SuperStar”, a “NDA Preschool Series by Jose Zelaya”, "NDA Preschool Series by Norma P. Sepulveda" & the potential The Proud Family latino-lead spin-off “La Familia Avenúñez”. as part of the celebration.

One of the projects under our radar is a "NDA - Disney Channel Series" created by Pedro Eboli and Mark Satterthwaite, which would probably make Eboli the first Brazilian on creating a animated series at Disney TVA. So this could be a perfect chance to give a series greenlit as part of the event.

RUMOR/REPORT: Disney Television Animation Developing "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" Spin-Off "La Familia Avenúñez" At Disney+.

One of the most streamed series at Disney+ has been "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder", a sequel series of the original "The Proud Family" which ran from 2001 to 2005, the series has been getting critical praise for tackling issues about the black community, multicultural families and characters belonging to the LGBTQ+ community.

It seems that the world of Emylville might expand with a potential spin-off series focusing on The Boulevardez with the Avanúñez side of the family, this was recently revealed via a trademark under the name "La Familia Avenúñez", the trademark lists "entertaiment services featuring animation".

ICYMI The Avenúñez where introduced on The Proud Family Louder and Prouder episode "Raging Bully" where LaCienega is getting prepared for her Quinceañera when her cousin LaBrea Avanúñez (Princess Nokia) and her mother Melrose (Eva Longoria) arrive.

LA FAMILIA AVENÚÑEZ is the fourth Disney TVA series revealed via a Trademark listing after "NEON GALAXY", “SAM WITCH” and “DISNEY JUNIOR JOHNNY GUITAR ROCK STAR”. Apparently there’s other two new Disney TVA series listed on these trademark sites but are behind a paywall at the moment, hoping they go to the public soon.

LA FAMILIA AVENÚÑEZ joins the latino-lead projects at Disney TVA with SOFIA THE FIRST, ELENA OF AVALOR, HAMSTER & GRETEL and the upcoming chicano-lead comedy PRIMOS slated for Summer 2024, other latino-driven projects in development include preschool shows from Jose Zelaya (Lilo and Stitch: The Series, Disney Junior The Lion Guard), Norma P. Sepulveda (Disney Junior "Ariel", "Elena Of Avalor") and a superhero musical comedy series about latina influencer/popstar/superhero Alejandra Fuentes living the best of THREE worlds under the working title "SUPERSTAR".

RUMOR: Disney Television Animation Developing Fantasy/Dungeons & Dragons Inspired Series "JOURNEY" In New Cast Call

As we approach Disney Television Animation's 40th anniversary more news on upcoming projects have been revealed, last week we saw a trademark on a upcoming series named "DOG & FROG" and last year we had news on a upcoming series named "SAM WITCH" NEON GALAXY and a The Proud Family Louder and Prouder spin-off under the name "LA FAMILIA AVENÚÑEZ"

Recently The DisInsider came across details about a project in development for Disney Television Animation, this revealed via a casting call.

The project titled JOURNEY has a description of the pilot and confirms the show will fall into the sci-fi/fantasy genre inspired by Dungeons And Dragons and Magic The Gathering

JOURNEY The main character is listed as a teenager named Journey, so immediately we know that the title is supposed to act as a double entendre. She’s described as a girl who has “always been a little right-brained, a little messy, a little ‘strange.’ Her interests include “Dungeons & Dragons” and fantasy stories. While she is often dismissed for being so enthralled by fantasy “nonsense,” her “happy place” is in ancient novels with fantastic creatures, powerful heroes, and magical worlds.

One other character description DisInsider obtained describes a male co-lead named Tunde.

TUNDE He’s also described as a teen, who is “free-spirited, fun-loving, thrill-seeker with magic skills, living a nomadic lifestyle beyond the Dome with his small crew.” Also described as “a champion of peace and love,” the grid literally likens to Bob Marley. Now, unlike Journey’s description, Tunde’s teases what the show might actually be about. Additional details in his character description show that he likes to hang with his “fellow magical outcast friends.” This tells us that Tunde is just like the characters that Journey has been reading about her whole life. While it’s pretty clear that Journey will indeed encounter the magical world in the show, it’s unclear how or to what degree.

Production on the pilot will begin this March. Seeing as how the search for the two lead voice actors is ongoing, no cast members or other talent have been revealed yet alongside the series creator and which network is going for (Disney Channel or Disney+)

This is the third Disney TVA project revealed via Disinsider via Cast Calls the other projects are SUPERSTAR (Working Title) for Disney Channel about a latina superhero living the best of three worlds (Popstar, Influencer and Superhero) and DUCKIE for Disney+ a serialized animated comedy series about a little duck with PTSD after a tragic event which took her away from her parents, now she will discover her true self with the help of a old duck.

TCA Sets Dates For Winter Tour 2024 - Disney Attending The Event With Disney Branded Television Panel TBD.

TCA has set its Winter 2024 return for February 5 at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena with the tour ending on the 15. The live event returns following the Summer Tour cancellation due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Disney is set to attend on February 9-10 with FX Networks and ABC, surprisingly Hulu and Disney Branded Television are nowhere to be found however according to TCA participating shows, units and panelists will be released at a later time. So expect on the upcoming month to get more updates on the panelist and units attending the press tour.

As you may know previous TCA Press Tours have unveiled many announcements, this year's edition unveiled the Phineas And Ferb revival, renewals for Pupstruction, SuperKitties and Firebuds, 2022 unveiled greenlight orders for SuperFudge and Tiny Trailblazers and 2021 edition unveiled greenlight orders for Pupstruction, Mickey's Tales of Two Witches, Mickey and Minnie's Wish Upon A Christmas.

Disney Announces "D23 Expo Brazil" Slated For November 2024.

The Walt Disney Company is heading to Brazil this November. This will be the first major D23 Expo event to take place in Latin America

This will be the first major D23 event to take place in Latin America, though Disney has ran fan events including a D23 Expo in Japan on 2018. Other events include the Star Wars Celebration to take place across the US & Europe with a Japan edition set for 2025.

The D23 Brazil event will feature unique content from brands across the Walt Disney Company, like Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. So we should expect to see plenty of news regarding Disney films and Disney+ shows come out of this event. The event coincides in one month ahead of Disney Television Animation's 40th anniversary so we could expect panels dedicated to Disney TVA series featuring latino characters like "The Proud Family Louder And Prouder", "Hamster & Gretel", "Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur" & "Primos" and hoping for a showcase of series greenlights of latino lead shows like "SuperStar", a "NDA Preschool Series by Jose Zelaya" & the potential The Proud Family latino-lead spin-off "La Familia Avenúñez".

Brazil has become a hosts for fan events, CCXP, in São Paulo becoming a major event on the calendar, as over 280,000 fans attended the last event. Netflix also ran it’s own TUDUM fan experience there last summer.

Distrito Creativo Guadalajara interviewed Disney Television Animation veteran and salvadoran José Zeleya who has contributed to the studio over 27 years.

Zelaya has a show of his own on development at Disney TVA for Disney Junior, one of the many creative latinos with their own projects at Disney TVA.
