A Kansas woman allegedly attacked a teenage anti-abortion canvasser when the student knocked on her door Sunday.
The student, Grace Hartsock, was going door-to-door to turn out Kansas voters for a Tuesday referendum on abortion law. The incident occurred when she approached a home in Overland Park, according to Students for Life — the organization with which Hartsock was volunteering.
Harstock says a woman answered the door who, once she learned what the teen was there to discuss, politely stated she was not interested.
"No, I’m sorry I don’t think you want to talk to us," the woman told Hartsock, according to Students for Life.
Hartsock turned to leave when another voice, also a woman, came from further inside the house yelling and cursing.
"Don’t apologize to her, mom," the woman said, according to SFL.
The woman, whose identity is unknown, then reportedly followed Hartsock out of the house while berating her. SFL says the woman shoved Hartsock in the chest and began striking her head with closed fists.
Hartsock weathered the blows until the woman's mother got the daughter to stop. The woman continued yelling, however, telling Hartsock "I hope you get raped," and "I hope you get run over by a car," SFL says.
The teenager was able to capture the final moments of the encounter with her phone, showing the woman back away toward the house while still hurling expletives.
SFL says Hartsock has filed a complaint to the Leewood Police Department regarding the incident. Hartsock declined an interview with Fox News Digital.
"In knocking on thousands of doors nationwide, we’ve never experienced such an unprovoked attack," Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins said in a statement.
Kansas residents are voting on an amendment to the state constitution that would allow state lawmakers to regulate abortion access. The state will be the first in the country to hold a vote on abortion access since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in late June.
The "Value Them Both" amendment would "affirm there is no Kansas constitutional right to abortion or to require the government funding of abortion, and would reserve to the people of Kansas, through their elected state legislators, the right to pass laws to regulate abortion, including, but not limited to, in circumstances of pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, or when necessary to save the life of the mother."
The referendum comes roughly three years after the state Supreme court ruled that the Kansas constitution protects the right to an abortion in 2019.
Kansas is a heavily Republican state, and the legislature would be likely to pass restrictions on abortion soon after the referendum if the amendment succeeds. It was the GOP supermajority in the state legislature that ensured the referendum would happen following the 2019 ruling and the fall of Roe.

Hello, last anon here. I think you answered it perfectly. And honestly, that's how I would answer too. Another thing that bothered me is just how weasel-like the pro-abortion side was, which I should have known because it was the streamer Destiny on the Whatever podcast debating Lila Rose and Kristan Hawkins. He just happened to evade every line of questioning so well that I had a hard time understanding how I would combat the argument. It was a mess and unfortunately, I'm sure he was able to win people over despite his mental gymnastics and the arbitrary nature of his line of personhood. But in the end, what matters most is that our position remains solid, even in the face of fallacious arguments from a weasel like Destiny.
Oo I haven't heard that debate yet but I'll try to give it a listen because I really like Lila Rose and Kristan Hawkins and Destiny is just....I don't know. For a leftist he sometimes comes off as a tad more sane and rational but when talking about abortion, like most pro-aborts, it's just dodging questions and changing goalposts when they get backed into a corner.
But I totally agree the most important thing is that we remain solid and consistent and the facts will show who is right and who is wrong.

She helped kill Roe v Wade - now she wants to end abortion in America - BBC News
Watching her with followers and donors, Hawkins is sarcastic and often turns to humour, a sometimes unexpected habit from a woman pushing to outlaw abortion entirely. She also swears a lot and fidgets when she talks. She doesn't have friends, she said, "in the traditional sense".
"Like, I don't have girlfriends I go for brunch with… what would I talk about besides ending abortion?"
Hawkins' mission, born that day at the pregnancy centre, has proven to be all consuming, something she is well aware of. She has tried to teach her team the principle of DBW - Don't Be Weird - which is code for: don't freak people out.
"You have to know when to display your passion," she said. "If you carry around a pocketbook of graphic images of children who've been aborted and whip that out at the dinner table, some people are going to be pretty mad at you."
This is probably the least nauseating section of the article. She's such a fucking gross pos.

It says in your bio that you are a pro-life Roman Catholic. God bless you. I was wondering if you could do a post about the importance of Students for Life. Love your content. Also, could you pray for the nursing home I work for and for people with PTSD. Oh! And for my cousin who just had scoliosis surgery. Thank you so much. ✝️⛪️🙏
Hello there!,
Yes that is correct, I am a Roman Catholic and absolutely pro life. Thank you! I’ll definitely pray for all of your intentions. I love Students For Life! In fact, I sometimes receive mail from them to donate.

Who are the Students of Life?
Students for Life of America (SFLA) was founded over 16 years ago in August 2006 by Kristan Hawkins, they are a pro life organization who’s goal to abolish abortion. It is a nation wide network of pro life student activists who serve across America in 1,400 college campuses who have been educated, trained, and equipped with tools to abolish abortion.
What are some of the things they do?
Students teach abortions about the realities of abortion by hosting speakers, bringing education displays to your campus, host Students For Life workshops, and conferences. They investigate and expose abortion facilities, hold peaceful demonstrations outside abortion facilities, have peaceful prayer vigils, sidewalk advocacy, and reaching out by social media. They have much more, which you can check out on their website.
Do I have to be a student to support them?
Nope! You can help support them here.

There are many words that Leftists claim are misogynistic. Like bitch. But they are always happy to use it on non-Leftists.
Oh, and if they CAN be racist against you? That is sweeter than honey, in their eyes. Being racist is what Leftists live for.

I've been binge-watching Kristan Hawkins "Student for Life" conferences lately
youtube
I love how she easily refutes every pro choicer common argument. She also has incredible nerves...I've seen her in a debate with a woman arguing a child from a failed abortion wasn't human...

Did you see what Trump has said about abortion recently? I don't know the whole story but Kristan Hawkins is pissed at him on Twitter because apparently he said that whether or not abortion should be legal should be left up to the states instead of completely banned across the nation and a lot of people are calling him pro choice now
No! I didn't see that! Sure sounds more pro-choice than pro-life to think states should have a choice on whether or not to allow access to abortion.
If you're going to claim to be pro-life but think people or places should have the option to provide or get abortions then that's literally pro-choice.
I get why he would say that because states rights and all but the right to life is literally enshrined into the constitution and one thing the federal government is supposed to do is preserve that right so in my opinion there's no excuse for thinking states should have the option to legalize murder if you're really pro-life.

Calling Evil Good And Good Evil: What In The World Is Happening On College Campuses?
The spectacle of rising antisemitism on campus, and these college presidents’ tepid response to it, is but a symptom of a more fundamental problem: Faulty philosophical foundations, which have been built over decades, have led to a culture at most schools where traditional, Judeo-Christian beliefs are not only dismissed but are vilified and often disallowed.
The examples are plentiful.
When former University of Kentucky standout swimmer Riley Gaines, a critic of biological males competing against females in women’s sports, tried to speak at San Francisco State University last April, radical activists held her in a room against her will for more than three hours—even demanding a monetary ransom at one point.
At Virginia Commonwealth University, the campus chapter of Students for Life sponsored an event that was supposed to be a dialogue between Kristan Hawkins (president of Students for Life of America/Students for Life Action) and another pro-life advocate. But when protesters showed up carrying signs and shouting obscenities to drown out the speakers, the event had to be canceled.
At the State University of New York at Albany, the Young Democratic Socialists of America chapter was among those who were able to prevent a conservative proponent of free speech from speaking on campus because he opposes the transgender movement. The disrupters said it was all in the name of “joy, positivity and support for LGBTQ+ students.”
