Getting closer, sort of.
That’s a a Kohler glass door, and the instructions seem to have been written by engineers and proof-read by other engineers. So that heavy glass door is installed backwards. The ornamental silver bolts (designed by marketing and ignored by engineering) are supposed to by close to the hinges. I didn’t realize this until we hung the door for the second time.
The shower head is by Nebia, now part of Moen. Very water efficient, which is why I bought it a few years ago. There is also a shower wand thing that plugs into it. To be installed after we use it all for a while. The magnetic dock for it gets permanently installed on the wall somewhere, TBD.
Still have to find the blockage in the ceiling that’s preventing the cold water line to progress. And all of that silicone stinking up the place has to cure.
Not much else to do today, except have a beer.

Daniel Arsham’s portal at the Milan Design Week
Last October Daniel Arsham had unveiled a 3D printed washbasin in collaboration with bathroom furniture company Kohler. ROCK.01 replicated the shape of two stones leaning against each other and combined the artist’s vision with that of the American company.
