Street photography is often very voyeuristic. We find ourselves capturing quiet, intimate moments taking place in public spaces.

I prefers to remain invisible, to fade into the background whether I've got a camera in hand or not. Nothing makes me more uncomfortable than being the centre of attention. I'll never be a photographer who gets in people's faces, and I rarely linger to take multiple exposures of a scene. As a result I often find myself photographing people from behind, which is in my mind somehow both more voyeuristic but also less intrusive than photographing their faces.
