You stand atop the weathered parapets of the cathedral – your own spire as Bishop of the MIRTHFUL CHURCH.

Your noble frame is cloaked in hues of purple and gold, befitting a a great bishop. Your appearance is important to you; you know how many trolls look up to you, in the many senses of the phrase. Somehow, you are already preparing your solitude to be interrupted by another member of the clergy to come to you, to ask a question of faith that could be answered by simply reading. Amateurs.

You fear you’ll miss that.

The clamor of bustling life, once a sweet symphony, now bares the weight of sorrow as it intermingles with the echoes of war drums in your mind. In this fleeting moment, as the last rays of THE MOONS bathe the world in a tapestry of colour… you PRAY for ALTERNIA, for its people – for the ones you will leave behind.

The fading nightlight casts a soft glow upon your countenance, illuminating the wisdom painted across your face. The view of ALTERNIA below now tugs at your heart with a bittersweet grasp. Yet, you turn away from the sight and face the darkened archway that leads deeper into the heart of the ancient cathedral. In this sacred space, you bridge the gap between the world you’ll leave behind and the uncharted realm that lies ahead.

The light diminishes with each step down into the MIRTHFUL CHURCH of the SUBJUGGALOS. It’s not like there’s a lack of work to do before you leave.
