Hi Missloko. It seems like there was an event recently at setsubun from all kagai. Google translate is telling me National Treasure Dedication? Was this a one off even or do you think we'll get to see it annually from now on? I know Kamishichiken do outdoor autumn dance every year but it's a first for others? Thank you :)
Yes, there was an event as Yasaka Shrine recently that was a dedication dance done by Yachiyo Inoue, who is a Living National Treasure. The four kagai that call Yasaka their home all performed as well (Kamishichiken calls Kitano Tenmangu their home shrine, so they don't perform at Yasaka). It seems to have been a one off event and I don't see it becoming an annual event ^^
