面白い‼️
魅力的な登場人物たち、次々とテンポ良く手に汗握る展開が続き、多数の謎が次第に繋がる良脚本‼️
予測不能で観る者を釘付けにしてくれるサスペンス映画‼️
絶体絶命のような展開が何度か続くのですが、それが自然で映画全体を見終わっても整合性のある配置になっており、とても良くできた脚本で面白かったです👌
またこちらをハラハラさせるようなちょっとした演出がとても上手い🌟
「え、どうなるのこれ？」という気持ちが全く切れないのは見事‼️
どいつもこいつもダメなやつばっかりなんですが、みんなどこか人間くさくて、時折見せる良心や正義感などが際立って良い👍
主演のイ・ソンギュンの小物っぽさが良かったですが、同僚のチョン・マンシクも素晴らしかったですね‼️この人、他の映画でもそうですが、名脇役だと思います🌟

My summer revisiting K-dramas
The summer might not be over yet, but my summer break is days from ending. I go back to work on Monday so I won't be able to binge watch k-dramas like I've done these couple of weeks. I've been revisiting dramas that I love and haven't seen in a while and it has felt like seeing a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. The stories, the ost, the combination just made my days quietly fun and watching them with my mom has been even more fun.

Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on February 27 via Well Go USA. The 2023 South Korean film marks the directorial debut of Parasite assistant director Kim Seong-sik.
The supernatural fantasy-thriller is written by Park Joong-seop, based on the webtoon Possessed by Ho Kim Hong-tae. Gang Dong-won, Huh Joon-ho, Esom, Lee Dong-hwi, Kim Jong-soo, Park Soi, and Jisoo star.

Strong Girl Nam-soon (2023)

Synopsis: Nam-soon was lost by her Korean family while on vacation in Mongolia, so she grew up with a Mongolian couple, who took her in as their own. But she has always dreamed of going back to find out where she's from, so she worked hard to learn Korean, until she was finally ready to go back and search for her birth parents. Her dreams about South Korea were all shattered immediately, though, as her return finds her scammed and homeless. And not only that, but finding her family leads to her being wrapped up in a drug-case that threatens to take away everything she has worked so hard to find.

This drama is unsurprisingly a lot like its "prequel" which is, of course, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon. Which is both a good and a bad thing, because I like the original drama a lot, but it also means that I kept comparing the two. And honestly, the original is better if you ask me.
Both dramas have this thing where it's a comedy drama overall, but it has these really dark themes and scenes that just feel so out of place because they keep undermining it with something funny. The balance just isn't there for me - I had the same problem with Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, but I still feel that they handled it a bit better. A drama that handles that balance really well, though it may be hard to compare with these two, is Vincenzo. -> this does not mean it's a bad drama or anything, it is just not my thing.
Overall, it was a very decent drama. The actors all gave it their all, but sometimes the writing just didn't really hit what they were trying to. Some of the drama came off feeling almost two-dimensional, if that makes sense? It just never really got deep enough for me to actually truly care what happened to any of the characters, which doesn't really make for an amazing viewing experience.
And I can't talk about this drama, without talking about the shipping wars, because oh boy did it get heated at some points. The viewers who found Hee-sik boring (which... I can kind of see, but he's just as "stereotypical" of his character as any of the other characters in this drama, so by that logic all the characters are boring) started shipping Nam-soon with Shi-oh. And yes, these two did have pretty good chemistry on screen, but guys with giant red banners waving behind them just really aren't my thing. And while I did think that Nam-soon and Hee-sik were cute, their chemistry wasn't off the charts like you would want in a romance (neither was her chemistry with Shi-oh, just saying).
The single best scene in this drama was the cameo from Bong-soon and Min-hyuk. And that says a lot about this drama, I think.
In the end... this was a drama that did what it wanted - it copied and somewhat successfully made a second drama to the "classic" that was Bong-soon. It was generally cute and kinda fun, and I didn't have the worst time watching it. Did this drama need to be made? Not if you ask me. Does it need a second season / spin-off like they're teasing? Definitely not. Will I still give it a watch? Probably.

Dönem dizisi sevmeyenlerin bir kez daha düşünmesine neden olacağına eminim. Bende dönem dizilerine ön yargılı olmama rağmen bu dizi benim bütün beklentilerimi karşıladı. Dizinin orijinali “Tai zi fei sheng zhi ji” (“Go Queen Go” ) isimli bir Çin dizisi. Konusu ise; günümüzde yaptığı işte en iyisi olmayı her zaman kendisine hedef koyan yakışıklı bir şef, Blue House'da ülkenin en iyi politikacıları için çalışmaktadır. Elde ettiği bu başarının yanı sıra, vurdum duymaz, başına buyruk ve son derece çapkın olan Jang Bong-hwan ( Choi Jin-hyuk ) bir gün yanlış bir insanla flörtleşir. Blue House da başlayan kovalamacanın sonunda şefimiz yüksek bir kattan havuza düşer ve Joseon döneminde Kraliçe Kim So Yong’un ( Shin Hye-sun ) bedeninde gözlerini açar. Kral Cheoljong ( Kim Jung-hyun ) ile yeni evlenmiştir ve bütün sarayın varis beklentisi vardır. Kraliçe Kim So Yong ise şefimiz ile aynı zamanlarda göle düştüğü için bir süre bilinci kapalı kalmış sonra şefimizin ruhu ile uyanmıştır. İlk etapta kraliçenin ruhunun da şefin içine girmiş olduğunu varsayıyoruz.
Dizinin orjinali ile Kore versiyonu arasında bariz farklar görmek mümkün. Çin versiyonunu izlemedim ama onun konusu kadın bedenindeki bir erkeğin kral ile olan aşkını anlatıyormuş. Kore’de uyarlamanın çekilmeye başlandığı ilk zamanlar iki erkeğin aşkı anlatılması nedeniyle ciddi eleştiriler almış. Aynı zamanda orijinali kitap uyarlamasıymış ve kitabın yazarı Xian Chen, yakın zamanda Kore kültürü ve insanları için saldırgan yazılar paylaşıyormuş. Koreli yapımcılar bu kadar çok tepki gördüğü için karakterlerde değişiklik yapmış ve dizinin finali tekrar yazılmış. Benim düşüncem buna rağmen dizi boyunca her ne kadar bir kadın bir erkek izlemiş olsak da diyalogların hepsi iki erkek arasında geçiyor.
Kraliçe Kim So Yong’a hayat veren Shin Hye-Sun’un önünde şapka çıkartıyorum. Böyle bir oyunculuk sergilemiş olması inanılmazdı. Erkek ruhlu, kadın görünümlü halleri gerçekten takdir edilesiydi. Kim Jung-hyun ise her ne kadar Shin Hye-Sun’un gölgesinde kalsa da onunda son derece başarılı olduğunu söylemeden geçmeyeyim. Crash Landing On You dizisinde kalbimizi kıran başarılı oyuncu, burada da kendini kanıtlamış oldu.
Diziye dönecek olursak, kraliçemiz aslında günümüzün şefi olduğu için, Joseon döneminde de ilk gittiği yer mutfak oluyor. O dönemde var olmayan yemekleri yaptığı sahnelerde ben çok keyif aldım. Hatta bu sahnelerin çok daha fazla olmasını bekledim. Saray aşçısı ile atışmaları ve garip arkadaşlıkları çok keyifliydi. Öte yandan şefimizin anne ve babası tarih eğitmeni oldukları için bütün kralları ve o dönemi ezbere biliyordu. Sıkışıp kaldığı dönem, kukla kral ya da sapık kral diye tarihe geçmişti. Ülkenin kralı gibi görülse de bütün güç aslında bir önceki kralın ilk eşindeydi. Yani sonunu bildiği bir tarihin içinde kimin tarafını tutması gerektiğini de gayet iyi biliyordu. Buna rağmen bölümler ilerledikçe kralın hiç de tarih kitaplarında anlatılan gibi olmadığını anlıyor ve ikisi arasında bir arkadaşlık doğuyor. Kraliçe içinde erkek şefimizin ruhu olmasından kaynaklı romantik yakınlaşmalardan kaçınırken, kralımızda politik nedenlerle evlendiği kraliçeden kaçınıyordu.
Dizinin ilk başlarında Shin Hye-Sun’un oyunculuğuna hayran kalsam da iki erkeğin romantik bir yakınlaşma yaşamasını hiç istemedim. Zaten kukla kralımız, cariyelerden birini seviyor, kraliçe ile çok ilgilenmiyordu. Bu seferde dizide romantizm olmayacak olması beni rahatsız etmeye başladı. Öte yandan izlemeyi de bırakamadım. İlk bölümler böyle ilerlerken kraliçenin öncesindeki hayatını bilmediğimiz için yaşanılan aşk üçgenlerine biraz uzak kalıyorsunuz. Kim kiminle ne yaşamış diye merakla izliyorsunuz. Ben kendi adıma, ‘artık kendi bedenine dönsün böyle olmaz’ bile dedim. Ama biraz ilerledikten sonra kraliçenin anılarını şefimizde hatırlamaya başlıyor. Yavaş ve parça parça gelen bu anlardan sonra aslında bir bedende iki ruh olduğunu anlıyoruz. Bu noktada artık rahatsız olmamaya başladım. Hatta önünde sonunda bedenine dönecek olması beni üzdü. Hep burada kalsın istedim.
Ayrıca yan karakterlerde diziye bambaşka tatlar katıyordu. Kraliçenin hizmetlileri ile kurduğu ekip ve onların sahneleri oldukça eğlenceliydi. Dağarcığımıza “MAMAAA” kelimesini eklediler. Birde dizi içine yedirilmiş İngilizce kelimeler vardı. O dönemde anlam ifade etmediği için, komik anlar oluşturuyorlardı. Örneğin no-touching kelimesinin bambaşka yorumlanması gibi.
2020-2021 de çok başarılı diziler izledim. İzlediğim ilk dönem dizisi olarak bu dizinin de başarılı diziler arasında olduğunu gönül rahatlığı ile söyleyebilirim. OST’ları da dizi kadar eğlenceli. Özellikle bir şarkı var ki, adeta koreli Hayko Cepkin dinliyor gibi hissettim.

[Editorial] An Attack on Dong-A Ilbo

The incident where 700 worshippers of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) broke into the office building of this newspaper company in Chungjeong-ro the day before yesterday and damaged the property is a serious threat to the freedom of press and the right of the nation to know. It is very difficult to understand that the eight hours of violence and the production disturbance by the worshippers of FFWPU, who were discontent with the report in the September issue of Shindongah, a monthly publication of this company, with the title “Grand Dissection of FFWP Kingdom,” was a conduct by the worshippers of a religion which stress peace in the world.
The FFWPU worshippers destroyed the computers and office fixtures of the Shindongah journalists and stole the coverage documents of journalist Cho Seong-sik, the one who wrote the report concerned. They threatened to “throw sand on the rotary press of Dong-A Ilbo” and even sent more than 200 text messages to Cho’s cell phone, saying, “We’ll kill you.” Also, a photojournalist of this newspaper company Gang Byeong-gi and a CBS reporter Kim Jae-pyeong were attacked with violence and threats by the worshippers.
“The coverage by Shindongah was a libel against the FFWPU based on the description by some of the apostates,” FFWPU stated. If they were to make such statements, they could raise a formal objection by means of press arbitration or a lawsuit. Leaving aside these measures and rushing into the office building of the press to exercise violence is neither what the citizens of a democratic society are allowed to do nor the propriety of the worshippers. In addition, didn’t Shindongah guarantee the objection right of Hwang Seong-jo, the president of the FFWPU, by including an 8-page interview with him?
It is almost impossible to understand that the FFWPU, which manages a number of press organizations both at home and abroad, should attempt to oppress a press report by resorting to violence. They even compelled us to collect all the copies of the September version of Shindongah and to dismiss the journalist in charge and the head editor. A religious organization is not supposed to make such inappropriate requests to press institutions, be it a subsidiary.
The FFWPU should clarify whether this break-in is a conduct that complies with its doctrine of world peace or a deviation by some of the worshippers. The FFWPU is carrying out dynamic activities and spreading its domain in the sectors of religion, business, press, university, culture, and sports. The FFWPU will have to think about how this incident will be reflected in recognition of the nation and the people around the world on religion and its related businesses.
We intend to call the worshippers who exercised organized violence and disturbed the production of Shindongah and those who ordered such conducts to strict legal account. We will continue to make efforts to fulfill the right of the nation to know and the mission of press reporting without being shaken by any kind of threats from external powers.

Complaining about a monthly magazine article, 700 members of the Unification Church, often known as “Moonies” in Western countries, overran the Dong-A Ilbo building on Chungjeongno in central Seoul yesterday morning, staying there throughout most of the day.
Two hundred and fifty protesters broke glass panels at the building’s front gate and entered the building; the rest sat in outside the newspaper’s office. Most left about 5 p.m.; five remained to meet with Dong-A management.
The protesters said the September issue of Shindonga, the newspaper company’s monthly magazine, treated their religion with malice. They demanded an apology, a recall of the issue and punishment for the journalists involved. Police dispatched 1,500 riot police to the building to keep the protesters and newspaper staff apart.
The cover of Shindonga’s September issue featured a photo of Reverend Moon Sun-myung, the founder of the church. The articles include accounts by former members, many unflattering, and an interview with Hwang Sun-jo, its international president. One of the features was titled, “Is he the messiah or a pseudo-religious leader?”
The church was founded in Seoul in 1954.
