KILLER BOOK CLUB (2023) Reviews of Netflix horror mystery
Killer Book Club is a 2023 Spanish horror thriller film about fright-loving friends who fight for their lives when a killer clown who seems to know the grim secret they share begins to pick them off, one by one.
Reviews:
” …feels exactly like Scream though without any of the more effectively executed terror. Even the one surprise it does pull out feels like a mimicry of those movies. That we get…

Fall 2023 - Week 10 in Review
Hello folks, and welcome back to Wrong Every Time. This week I’ve been continuing my efforts to catch up on all of the year’s outstanding, er, outstanding anime, following up on Vinland Saga and The Witch From Mercury with the recently released adaptation of Pluto. I’ve been quite enjoying the production, and will likely have full thoughts on that one for next week, which will hopefully leave me…

Review: "Killer Book Club"
I think Scream may have finally surpassed Halloween as the most imitated slasher movie of all time. Now in Spanish!

Killer Book Club is terrible. The film has killer with a neat clown design but just about everything else felt lackluster with the exception of two death scenes. The cast is disinteresting and the best way to describe it is if Scream was written by a first time Wattpad user with an emphasis and I do use 'emphasis' lightly on horror literature instead of horror films.

The Spanish answer to Scream, Killer Book Club will keep you guessing and on your toes with your favorite familiar tropes made scary, fresh and fun . (Also major kudos to the English translation and dubbing team, if you’re not paying close attention you’ll forget it’s originally recorded in Spanish)

Killer Book Club Review
A movie that desperately wants to be Scream but has to settle for I Know What You Did Last Summer.
That's a sick burn to a very specific age of slasher movie fans.

I was watching Killer Book Club today and they mentioned "compass" and "map" writers.
As a connoisseur of words, I like that a lot better than "pantser" and "plotter"
