Big surprise to hear that not one but TWO new Evil Dead movies are in development at the moment! I'm liking this approach so far of Sam Raimi hand picking new filmmakers to give their own spin on the Evil Dead IP.

ghoulies go to college is the freakiest movie out of all of them because the ghoulies can 1. now talk 2. have cartoon powers, leading to horrifying scenes such as this where they put a plunger on a girl's face in the shower and it gets sucked off like a cartoon

good sensations can sometimes be extreme, and i know i personally enjoy a good few of those, so i wanted to know which of these types of pain are the most commonly enjoyed :)

I had a fun time watching Abigail, but I'm a little miffed that I had to fork over an extra $4 dollars on top of my discounted $7 ticket because it was playing on the biggest screen in the movie theater.

Parasites (2016) is about three college students that get lost late one night in L.A. and get attacked by a gang of homeless people. The lone survivor runs off and it's a race to survive as the bums try and kill the remaining witness. It's a low budget affair that has a pretty mean streak and it feels like it's trying to emulate the feel of John Carpenter's Escape from New York with how Skid Row feels cut off from the rest of society, the empty streets make it a grim isolating place for our unfortunate lead and the synth score. Also, Joseph Pilato aka Capt. Rhodes from Day of the Dead plays one of the bums in the film.

I thought it was decent but it feels like it peaked after the first thirty minutes. It's worth a look.

This show exceeded my expectation.

I love bad movies but it makes it really difficult sometimes when you read a book and then watch the movie adaption and it just sucks so badly. just something different about movie adaptions of books sucking that makes me MAD like you had good source material and you ruined it
