Do you have sexuality and gender hc for the characters in AssClass? If so, which ones?
I think I'm only gonna do hcs for the characters that I'm quite firm about, if you don't mind anon ^-^
For the characters that weren't mentioned, there are different interpretations made by others that I'm very open to, especially since this isn't really something that I think about that often 🩷

Reverse DL-6 where the gun Miles threw aimed just a liiiitle differently and ended up shooting Von Karma dead. Because apparently nobody on the DL-6 case was at all competent they can’t figure out what caused his death so it just gets ruled a suicide. Miles is too loopy from oxygen deprivation to remember throwing the gun and due to his dad still being alive he never gets the trauma nightmares that make him remember. Everything is objectively better for everyone until Franziska von Karma, years later, re-opens the case, and because she’s actually competent, figures out it must’ve been one of the three people in the elevator who shot him. Cue Defense Attorney Miles Edgeworth defending his dad from a murder charge that, honestly, really looks quite plausible.

watching this lady whos research is about studying americans who identify as “spiritual but not religious” and its uhm actually kind of chilling 😭 ofc their ignorance regarding other religious traditions outside mainstream conservative xtianity is unsurprising, but the extent to which they define their beliefs as a negation of (often misunderstood) perceptions of xtian doctrine is fascinating. but also:
- ‘because some interviewees found it hard to give up the idea of the comforting images of a God who guided and cared personally for them [...] some handled this by personifying ‘the universe’, making it sound somewhat interactive and benevolent for everyone, but also non-demanding and specific to their own needs and desires’
- ‘in the end the traditional view of a God who judges and rewards or punishes has been replaced by an anonymous process beneficial consequences for those who “wake up and pay attention” and dire consequences for those who don’t’
- ‘very few made long-lasting commitments to [community and/or learning]. instead, they credited themselves with the ability to see the universal truths or teachings common to all religions and practise them on their own’
- ‘when I asked what a functional and healthy spiritual community would look like [...] they said it would be one which supported them, where everyone was free to believe and practise as they wished, and one which didn’t make too many demands. when i asked how they would recognise such a community if they went looking for one, many said “everyone would believe as I do”’
- ‘most SBNRs seem unaware that many others reject the same doctrines and promote similar theological themes as they do. in fact, some, when I tell them this, are disappointed or angry when I tell them how similar they are to so many others’
how am i not mean to literally just see this shit as NEOLIBERALISM: THE RELIGION

Kaz is totally a secret swiftie and inej is totally a swiftie too and I need a fic where inej is humming a Taylor swift song while sitting on Kaz’s window sharpening her knives and Kaz starts singing the lyrics quietly while working at his desk and then this just becomes their routine and they never talk about it

Isn't it ironic that the senate killed Caeser to stop the destruction of the republic and his death did exactly that? Talking about backfiring major time.
What irks me about Brutus is that, he fought against Caeser at Pharsalus but Caeser pardoned him. And this guy still betrayed him. Mark Anthony is the true ride or die bro.

fakeclaiming, esp when it concerns systems, is so bizarre to me bc the argument of "well everyone does that, thats not unique to plurals / trans ppl / autistics / whatever" makes no sense like ok. so even if it ISNT unique to them, they choose to interpret it differently or label it in a way that makes more sense to them personally or makes them comfortable. like for example why do you care if i actually hear ppl in my head or if im just talking to myself. you arent the one inside my head it doesnt affect u at all. tf

imagine a new player going in blind but being completely unable to get the mark. as such, they have no context to anything around them beyond what they can guess. they still explore the world, still visit moon and pebbles, still seek out all the echoes, driven by curiosity. and still looking for their family as well.
the player manages to achieve maximum karma and stumble into subterranean and everything that lies below. everything is so different but they still press on wanting to know what's ahead. even if they begin to have second thoughts they have already gone past the point they were able to climb out.
so with no other option they delve into the void sea and we know what happens from there. but they do not. at most they can understand they've reached a conclusion, but what conclusion is this? is that "mass" of slugcats even their family? its most likely they'd feel frustrated, upset even, and STILL clueless. unsatisfied.
in effect i believe this is what happened to saint and such emotions are what made it an echo.
