Sute Akuyaku Reijou wa Kaibutsu ni Otogibanashi wo Kataru - By Ede Akizawa (9/10)
A good king and a bad king can be the same man. It all depends on which side you take. Are you with him, or are you against him? Will you entertain him, or will you dare to defy him? What is the right answer? Be careful. The wrong one comes at a cost.
Sylph is the villainess. That's what Kanna says. In reality she is a quiet ducal daughter, who is not allowed to indulge in the few hobbies she enjoys. Kanna took advantage of her immense loneliness. Deep down Lady Sylph isn't very ladylike despite her noble roots. Her deepest desire is to be a civil servant who works in a library. She sneaks into one, under a fake name. Just to enjoy stories. Unrealistic fables. Young ladies are supposed to be concerned with power, motherhood and their husband. Sylph is meant for the prince too, so her immature desire to read fairytales makes her....imperfect.
Kanna shared fairy tales with Sylph. Classics she had never read before. Kanna became her best and only friend. The only person that would have fun with her. Everyone else expected her to act as the perfect Ducal daughter. With Kanna she was allowed to enjoy fantasy. Fable, and stories of love and revenge.
Kanna, the daughter of a Baron, spreads lies to ruin Sylph. Sylph was perfect on the outside, but she has always been quiet. She has no real friends. Even her fiance always seemed to know they were not a love match. Sylph was being suffocated by the princess position. By her loveless and political life. Kanna uses this. A rumor spreads. Sylph is lacking off. She is ignoring her duties and bullying other ladies. Sylph cannot defend herself, because she has been sneaking out to read at the library. Way too long. Way too often. Under a different name. Kanna encouraged her to do it. To play fantasy games with her. Kanna used her naive desires against her. Witnesses agree with Kanna. Sylph dissappears for long periods, which is highly inappropriate for a princess. Kanna's wild abuse story explains the disappearances. Kanna kept appearing wounded when Sylph disappeared. What a monster. A demon that hurts others as soon as eyes are off her...
The Prince was, of course, cheating on her already. Kanna's story worked with what the heir of the kingdom wanted. Kanna was the opposite of Sylph. A bubbly, cute girl full of compliments. She was popular too, and Sylph was too cold. No one stood up for Sylph, but Kanna had a hundred friends to stand up for her side of the story.
The royal family throws Sylph into a cursed area, where a monster roams according to legend.
Sylph writes a note, in case she passes out, begging someone merciful to unlock her cage and take her with them. Anywhere.
Anywhere but "home"
She tells the monster, King Faber the 28th, her wish. He is technically not human. He's technically the monster, but he lets his captives live if they entertain him. He knows Sylph isn't lying. Her deepest wish is to be a librarian, which is so trite that it's cute. She doesn't just want to live, like all the rest.
She wants the impossible dream, that she has cried for since she was a girl.
Faber is kind to her. Sylph shares stories with him. He likes to see her happy. He visits her daily for a month. She gets a title. She is The Kings Favorite. He gives her a dreamy life. She becomes a librarian with his blessing, and he visits each and every day. He behaves like a man in love, but Sylph is no longer naive. King Faber is extremely powerful. He is no puppet king or weak prince.
Her life is in his hands.
Strange whispers come into King Faber's isolated nation. They are loud. He, and the citizens, cannot ignore the blaze of lies. Sylph's country is claiming she has been kidnapped. Suddenly, they want her back. Why? Who? The Prince left her side long ago and Sylph had little to no relationship with her parents.
Why would they want her, when they have Princess Kanna now? Only a few months have gone by.
Sylph panics, and she does a terrible thing. She uses her status as The King's Favorite to stay in his nation. She wants to be a librarian, not the daughter of a Duke.
She will have her freedom.
Even if that means letting Faber execute people she used to know.
She knows what she is doing. She knows the kings favor is fleeting. If she makes the wrong choice he could turn on her. Her only choice is honesty. Faber is like that. He can feel lies. Cowardice. Fear. She has to kinda...be villainous to survive by his side.
Faber interrogates everyone who turned against Sylph. He kills all of them, except Kanna. Kanna has lost it all. After she took the princess seat the royal family quickly realized how useless she was. When Faber arrives she is already shut away in the dungeon. He kills everyone else for their stupidity. Their weakness. The Prince claims Kanna cursed him, and he finally noticed there was nothing special about her after her Story ended. Right after the Happy Ending her magic wore off, but Faber doesn't listen. The Prince is stupid and boring. So is the King. He makes them hold severed heads. He dumps blood on the royals. They beg him. They blame Kanna, but they die anyway.
Sylph does not kill Kanna. Killing Kanna will not entertain the king. Faber is angry because Kanna dared to discredit his Favorite. Sylph must now concoct a fitting fairytale punishment for the true villain. By the way she doesn't actually care about Kanna. She just wants to move onto her free live. What Faber is doing is cruel...to Sylph. He doesn't want her to move on yet. He did her a huge favor. He used his power to get rid of her problems, and now she must drag out the pain. The suffering, until Faber believes she has achieved true vengeance.
Sylph decides to punish Kanna with entertainment. She must make up a story every day for an entire year, in a dirty cell. If even one isn't entertaining Faber will end her life.
It's cruel.
All Sylph wants is life as a librarian, but she had to use the great strength of the monster King to get it.
Now she has to pay for his favor.
His love comes with a price.
He behaves like a classic fairytale monster, and those ancient tales are never happy.

love thy neighbor: about 24 year old uni student pah doyeon and her 40 year old housewife neighbor jin joo. jin joo's husband left her alone as he works to pay off his debts, and it has Not been a fun few months for her, as the loan sharks after him have been terrorizing her daily. luckily, pah doyeon is there to lend a hand and shelter!
probably my biggest recommendation as of right now, so long as you don't mind the very much not healthy nature of the whole situation. this baby's got everything in it: blasphemy, cheating, milf-hunting, obsession, self-discovery through lust, and so on. pah doyeon is great. there's a lot wrong with her. she said this shit unprompted in the latest chapter
a love yet to bloom: a sweet story about takamine, who has yet to find anything in life she enjoys, and sakura, a book-loving girl she happens to meet on the train after school. it's very cute and has a nice, chill atmosphere. i always look forward to the next update
otome no teikoku: ok so. heres the thing. if you decide to pick this up the first, idk, dozen chapters will be Bad. there's a lot of male-gazey uncomfortable stuff at the beginning, and while it doesnt take too long for it to stop feeling so offputting and start being surprisingly wholesome and earnest instead, it never stops being horny, so read it if youre in the mood for that.
as for what it's actually about... well there's this all girls school, right? and it has girls in it. and they are all gay and dating each other. its basically just a collection of short chapters about different couples within this school, and it has some of my favorite dynamics and moments in yuri. i reread it very often (and there's almost 300 chapters of this thing out, so that's a feat) and it never stops being enjoyable. stan nononon/yumimi
a monster wants to eat me: about hinako, who lost her whole family to the sea in a tragic accident and now yearns to join them in the afterlife, and shiori, a mermaid claiming she's here to eat her. the problem is, hinako being actively suicidal and depressed means her flesh won't exactly be very tasty, and shiori is a bit of a gourmet, meaning her goal is to first help her recover and regain her joie de vivre, and only then will she eat her. i highly recommend this
out of the blue!: transfer honor student x delinquent yuri. it's very short so i dont wanna yap about it too much, but it's a big big personal fave. it's only 4 chapters so check it out
sougou tovarisch: honestly anything by arata iri never fails to get at least one laugh out of me, but this one especially. if you know a kiss and a white lily by canno (and if you don't, go check it out), the premise to this one is a bit similar to the dynamic between ayaka and yurine, with hardworking MC obsessed with being number one and chill love interest who beats her without even meaning to.
the focus here is less on romance and more on comedy, and i love it. kanna is amazing. she wins a chess match by punching her opponent so hard she passes out. its only 13 chapters + assorted extras, very fun easy read
now some stuff that doesnt really have yuri as focus but ive really enjoyed regardless and want to shout out and this is my blog so whatever
liar satsuki can see death: satsuki can see dead people. specifically, she can see the future corpses of people up to 24 hours before they actually die. she always zealously warns the future victims of the imminent danger, and she has been branded a weirdo and a liar for it as no one has ever actually died before. in truth, she is actually literally incapable of lying, and the only reason everyone survived so far is that she will go to frankly insane lengths to save them. she's a great protagonist and her autistic swag has captivated me and many others
mieruko-chan: miko can see... Things. that no one else can. but she has to pretend she cant, especially to the Things themselves. she doesnt know exactly what will happen if they realize she can see them, but she's certainly not about to find out.
this started as a twitter short that quickly gained popularity, so the premise of many early chapters is basically "miko sees something terrifying and has to ignore it, hilarity ensues", but the initially one-off characters introduced over time are eventually explored and given quite a lot of spotlight and im having a lot of fun with it. stan michiru

Ever since Aditha Karikalan went to war, it seemed as if Pazhayarai has lost all its colour and noise. Sembiyan Madevi and Kundavai practically lived in temples. They undertook various austerities and conducted daily poojas. Worry about her brother seemed to have calmed down Kundavai. She no longer looked so smug. Thirumalai annan too started to visit Pazhayarai more frequently. For some reason Nandini couldn't understand, Chola encampments often ended up where he was staying and they requested him to relay messages to the Prime Minister, Ilaya Piratti, etc.
"Anna, why was little Karikalar sent to this war when there are many big warriors?"
"Didn't Perumal conquer three worlds in the form of little Vamanan? Similarly, who knows if little Karikalan won't conquer three realms and crown himself as the king of three worlds!"
Thirumalai couldn't give a satisfactory answer to her questions. How can you compare the omniscient Perumal to a punny prince? Is Karikalan fighting the Pandya mannan's children? Is there an army of children on both sides? Isn't anyone worried about him? Only she, no longer bratty Kundavai and ever penitent Sembiyan Madevi seemed to be upset by all this. Even akka said that war is the destiny of a warrior.
At first, she remembered him in her prayers. She prayed that may he be as strong as Krishna perumal with shankh, chakram and gada. Then Kannan himself started to appear to her in Karikalar's form. What maya is this! Whatever it is! May he be fine. May his weapons be as sharp as perumal's chakram. And it seemed that her prayers were working. Annan often came home with good news.
The problems started in that Margazhi. How can she undertake pavai nombu with Aditha Karikalan appearing before her as Krishnan? No, no. What madness is this! Can she even tell this to anyone? What a disgrace! Akka and Annan will be horrified. Though Kundavai is considerably nice to her now, she will take her head if she comes to know this. "Get a grip on yourself, Nandini", she told herself.
Then Annan came with bad news. Armies from Eezham have come to help the Pandya king. Nandini felt guilty. Did this happen because she didn't pray as well as she used to do? "What if they are rakshasas as in the time of Sriraman?", she hesitantly asked Annan. Akka and Annan roared in laughter. She was furious. "Why are you laughing when his life, I mean the Chola country, is in danger?" Annan consoled her that they are just normal people who always help the Pandya king because he is a friend of the Lankan King, who is again a normal man, not Vibheeshanan.
What's wrong if she prays for Karikalar? Isn't it better that she prays and he wins? Only her Krishnan can know what's in her mind. She won't tell even akka. "This is an agreement between us, Kanna". She placed the special garlands she stringed on her Kannan's neck and lit a few more extra lamps. Kalla kannan winked at her.
One day Kundavai and Sembiyan Madevi donated some jewellery to the womenfolk. She wanted to throw it away when she remembered what happened when she first came here. "Anger is the privilege of rulers and gods, kanne", her mother gently reminded her. But her anger evaporated when she saw the tearful eyes of Kundavai.
"What's the latest news, ilavarasi?", Nandini couldn't stop herself. Kundavai sighed.
"They say that the drohi escaped again".
"Don't worry. Why should we worry? It is their women who should worry about their safety for they have dared to raise their sword against our emperor".
Kundavai held Nandini's hands tightly. They didn't see Sembiyan Madevi looking at them with a strange expression.

Ranmaru loves her pancakes and compliments Sara and her cooking skills! Safalin would tell her how delicious the pancakes are and if she could have the recipe that Sara used to make them.

• Safalin cooks for the whole team sadly but it makes her happy because they appreaciate her food! + she gets really excited when Sara or the others would ask her if she can prepare them something, Safalin also likes to make deserts! she once made a pie for Kai as a thank you gift for spending time with her.

Shin - Twitch streamer, HAS A VSTREAMER MODEL PROVE ME WRONG. Posts vods on youtube, on twitter, insta, and tumblr (rarely posts on tiktok, if he does its just shitposts) all under @beanieboy.. Inside joke with reko. FRIENDS WITH REKO. HE DOES MUSIC 4 HER BAND (MOSTLY LIKE, FUNY VITURAL DRUMS AND STUFF) Cute catboy model, swears like a sailor. Plays a lot of horror games, loves them. Bullied by his chat :(
Reko - ofc, runs a youtube channel for her band, pretty popular!! Friends with shin, ofc, dating nao #naorekocanon. Posts the most on the bands socials (@ is samuraiba).but also has a personal stuff (under just yasureko) for outfits and makeup. posts tutorials 4 guitar, drums(bongos), u name it, its on the youtube channel PLUSPLUS music videos and live songs! Leader of the Slander Shin Club in his twitch stream chats. Also a mod in them!
Alice - Co-owns the Samurai Yaiba socials, posts the more funny stuff out of him and reko. Personal socials are @ALAL, nickname from reko. A lot of behind the scene stuff, some outfits. Isn’t that active
Nao - ART TUTORIALS/SPEED PAINTS !!!!!!! SOMETIMES MISHIMA/REKO SHOWS UP!! Insta/twitter for comms and all of that fun stuff. Maybe, time to time, sewing videos. Vlogs about daily life, such as her buying new paints etc. Socials is @naopaints

Mishima - Basic teacher videos, but art themed!! Those fun school cover songs but abt color wheel n stuff like that. @ is TeachMishi, only on tiktok and twitter. No idea how to use either. Sigh <33 my fav <33
Qtaro - Doesnt use social media that much, but when he does !! Its mostly highlights of baseball videos !! @ Is Qtall (dont ask why, he doesnt know either) Only uses twitter and insta.

Jigoku-no-Hanazono: Office Royale (2021) *spoilers*
Never thought I’d see the cute Mei Nagano kicking butt as a delinquent alongside Alice Hirose who does the same!
It’s a funny movie about office ladies of different cliques at work forming their own gang to exert dominance over the company. Mei Nagano manage to remain neutral thus far without getting involve in any gang, going about her daily work life with two of her colleagues who are the same as her.
As the gang war continues, a new employee, Alice Hirose arrives and upset the balance of power when she got caught in the middle. But she proves to be the strongest fighter of them all emerging as the ultimate victor, being able to take on them all single handedly, unifying the different gangs under her leadership.
Although good in fighting, Alice Hirose struggles at her job and learns from her senior, Mei Nagano. She began to like her and they got very close. Her reputation of her prowess reach the rival gangs from other companies who wants to challenge her by kidnapping Mei Nagano to lure her into a trap.
Alice Hirose is furious that she confronted the rival gang alone wanting to take them all down single-handedly as she always does, against the advice of her own gangs as the new rival is known to be much more formidable and ferocious as she later learn when she was taken down after several intense duels.
This is where the story takes an interesting turn. Upon seeing Alice Hirose being knocked out unconscious for the first time, Mei Nagano decides to take matters into her own hands and save her instead, revealing her true nature as a fighter as well, something she hid from everyone including Alice Hirose.
It is revealed that she grew up in a family of delinquents where she’s the youngest, learning to fight from her elder brothers. But she resented fighting and doesn’t want to get involve in gang wars like her brothers, as she prefers a simple normal life as an office lady like everyone else.
While Alice Hirose gang believes her to be the one to take down the new rival on her own, only the rival knows that it was Mei Nagano was the one who took them down. Mei Nagano though their defeat would deter them from appearing in her life and life goes on with Alice Hirose as the leader of the gang.
But things did not go to plan as the rival shows up again, this time with their undefeated boss who wants to challenge Mei Nagano to a duel. Meanwhile, Alice Hirose’s pride is hurt being defeated for the first time and with the gang learning the truth, that she too wants to fight Mei Nagano.
It’s a fun movie to watch, it’s as crazy as Kyō Kara Ore Wa!! which features female fighters fighting delinquents too (Kanna Hashimoto and Seino Nana). I like the strong chemistry between Alice Hirose and Mei Nagano, and seeing them kicking butts, which makes the movie entertaining to watch.

I want to know as much of your oc lore as I can
aww :DD nice i have few type: 1. oc groups (mainly SOL with normal universe), 2. individual ocs (dont have group name), 3. and story oc (has plot)
Top 6: the focus are on six kids which are 3 pair of siblings (from 3 different families). All 6 of them are from different grade/school so they also have different circle. the original story used to be about them being in the same club but i changed it.
The siblings pair are Rumi-Ruki, Una-Ame, and Nero-Neko (creative name i know). Out of them only Nero and Neko have complete parents,the rest are single parent and orphan living with their grandmother and adoptive relative. And the saddest family backstory is Una and Ame (father left them after their mother's death).
Anyway the story is just revolving around their daily life like friendship, family thing, and love stuff. nothing unique.
I also love to use these guys to make different AU story, like halloween au, and rpg au.
Reverse harem: another story about six kids from different grade/class. The main plot is about Him, a girl with blessing (curse) to attract harem wherever she goes. Except she was hated that and wanted friends instead, but her curse made her the girls' enemies and boys' love objects. She transferred into lots of school bcs of this and tried to appear and act eccentric to put off the guys.
Then later she found popular guys who is just the same level of aro and/or ace as her and has their own issues, and befriended them. Though everyone at school mistakenly thought theyre all in polyamorous relationship.
btw the characters are: Him (very pretty girl with man-hating attitude at first), Calia (cute underclassman, good social skill but also two-faced), Aldrich (same grade diff class, gamer guy with social anxiety), Paqi (classmate, star athlete himbo and an ex-problematic kid), Aiden (classmate, autistic whos special interest is literature), Easton (mature upperclasman and the student council president who loves sleeping).

Queer family: Focusing on my wlw and mlm characters daily life, like Mona and her wife Clarice, and their adopted son Emi. Including Mona's good friend (/pupil) Kanna, and his boyfriend Kiri.
Odd group: about Aki, an assassin who got lost in an enchanted forest after getting injured during mission. Taken care by Ako- the heart of the forest itself, and later introduced to the other 'roomates' such as Koko- the banished half-elf, Ron- runaway fire deity, and Ake- vengeful ghost who is obsessed with stealing hands.

REVIEW | "Kanna's Daily Life" - Vol. 10 | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade
Kanna’s Daily Life isn’t just a mere spinoff of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid. Penned by Mitsuhiro Kimura, the stories involving the smol dragon and her friend Saikawa add a lot more layers to their characters. They’re not always perfect adventures, but they manage to stay true to Coolkyousinnjya’s original lore. Volume Ten of Kanna’s Daily Life continues to spread the cuteness and endearing qualities of these two friends.
A great example of Kanna’s can-do attitude appears right at the get-go, when she hears about a summer festival that may not take place. With her wits and knowledge, she and Saikawa find plenty of volunteers in the least-likely of places. It’s when the festival happens when readers see how motivation can help create a beautiful moment wrapped in a fun and festive celebration. Even more heartwarming is Kanna’s reason to make the festival happen, which I won’t spoil here.

HELLO RATS ! i wanna say that i wanna open collabs! So like i wanna colab with my mutuals wether real mutuals or mutuals in law and my fellow discords insane persons and my felllow rats. I am a bit overwhelmed by school so it might take time to do a real event but there is one that i absolutely wanna do.
THE ULTIMATE COLLABS OF THE KANNA'S
there is two options for this event which will both happen!
So the first one is the collab between the daily drawing kanna blogs, which you all check out actually, so there is @daily-bucket-kizuchi @daily-dose-of-bucket and @daily-bucket-girl. So the idea is to draw each one of the daily kanna in their specific style. i have already made multiple template for this idea but they are just ideas.(this is not forced it's only an idea if you do not want or can't then it's okay :3)
But now here are the rules if you wanna do a personal collab ( so not the second one) with me:
-we need to discuss it trough messages first discord could be better but if you don't have it then tumblr messages is fine.
-after discussing and making the art we will have to post it at the same time
-there is no time limit, if you have stuff to do then do them i can wait, your personal life is more important than silly drawings
And the second one is somethings where anybody will be able to participate, you will have to draw a full body kanna on a png or jpeg (transparent background). And i will put all your guys drawing in one big piece. Anybody can participate. i will give later a bit more about the requirement to participate. i made a quick drawing to show how it will be presented.

Lucernalux here or Hollow Dreams or Senn or however you wish to call me here! I have had this Tumblr for a while now never really knowing what to actually post, but now I know.
I will be drawing the most underrated characters known in media, characters that are barely seen online or are talked about, characters that you love, but no one or barely anyone talks about them.
I got this idea when I talked about how I love Kanna Kapatcir, the Thunderbird from Genshin. I wished to find more images of her and she barely had any. I then realized many fandoms suffer from characters being mentioned once or twice and those characters have most likely the most mysterious and or intriguing stories.
Therefore, you are free to ask me to draw your favorite and highly underrated characters!
However
I'd like to mention that I won't be able to post daily or all of the time. Therefore please be patient with me I have a life outside of the internet and it's quite busy.

I will post once in a while in a week and or a month, depending on how busy I am.
