"Not again": Eyewitness Joe Smith writes about the shooting of Tom Hurndall, by Joe Smith, The «Electronic Intifada», April 12, 2003
«His name was Thomas Hurndall and he was from London. When he arrived, we already had an English guy named Tom so he chose the nickname “Tab”, and that is how I knew him. Tab was incredibly passionate about protecting people when and where they needed it most. We were in Yibna, a Rafah refugee camp right on the Egyptian border, because he was aware of the constant Israeli gunfire to which this neighbourhood is victim every day.
He'd learned about the two brothers who'd been shot the previous morning, and was dedicated to maintaining a presence there. He said that he'd gotten extremely angry and determined after listening to gunfire while lying in his bed at the doctor's house Rachel died protecting. He wanted to be in the most dangerous areas, not out of some martyr complex to die but simply because he knew that that is where internationals are most needed.»
He feels his stomach getting more tense as the slime comes, his stomach groaning and making all kinds of noises. It slowly starts swelling. After a while, it stops and he’s full. A warning gurgle coming from inside him before he belches.
Joni Mitchell: “When I was 19 I went to art school. I had six months of teaching myself to play baritone ukulele under my belt, so was sort of a novice folkie. … I was singing folk songs at that time. At that time I was a folk singer. … Then I went to Toronto to see the Mariposa Folk Festival, actually to see Buffy Sainte-Marie. I still didn’t have an image of myself as a musician. I found I couldn’t work and I didn’t have enough money to get in the union, $160, I didn’t have it. I worked in women’s wear. I worked in a department store and I could barely make ends meet. I finally found a scab club in Toronto that allowed me to play. I played there for a couple of months. Then I married Chuck Mitchell and I moved across the border. We still were scrambling to work. As a couple, we were making $15 a night. There were clubs that were very cliquish that we couldn’t get into. In Detroit, we had a fifth floor walkup apartment and it had some extra rooms. When Eric Anderson and David Blue and Tom Rush, and people passed through Detroit, we billeted them there. Bruce Langhorne, they used to stay with us. Eric taught me a couple of open tunings. He taught me Open G and Drop D Modal tuning. Once I got the open tunings for some reason, I began to get the harmonic sophistication that I heard that my musical fountain inside was excited by. Once I got some interesting chords to play with, my writing began to come.”
Based on star (IRAWO) compatibility, they're good BUT their Life Paths are Enemies💀❌ Their Union = CHAOTIC.
Note: Joe Smith has a Fire star, while the wife has an Air star. Fire & Air are good, But their life path compatibility goes way deeper than that. Only a graceful seer can detect that.

Some Chaotic Four headcanons for you, food edition
Jenkins doesn't look like it but he has an iron stomach. He can consume the spiciest foods and not have any stomach troubles afterwards. Joe is the one of the few who could handle Jenkins spicy food.
Patricia like Victor has a very sweet tooth. Victor and her would often have little fights about candy and other confections. She loves pure sugary types of candy. Caramel being her favorite.
Hugh can't handle spicy or sweet foods. He prefers making his own version of the meals he had back at home. It makes him less homesick. The only one who can eat his food with ease is Alan. It's been described as squishy and crunchy at the same time in the worse of ways.
Archie built up a tolerance to spicy food due to living with Jenkins for years. He's the other one whose able to handle it. He hates everything that has cinnamon in it. He can't stand mints of any kind.
I love these food headcanons. Aww, Alan being a good boyfriend.
