The reference pic I sketched up for the YCH commission I got from @jwcartoonist , Detective Raines shortly after getting turned into Nurse Nene. I told them not to take the ref literally and go as extreme with the curves as they felt comfortable.

I just turned 30 and apparently so did Bonkers. This was one of my favorites as a kid and I never quite shook him off. So, he gets my version of the reboot treatment! Also going to @jwcartoonist cuz I know he’d love this.

Here’s my pitch! In this version he starts off as a cop and goes undercover as an extra on the set of a cartoon to scope out a scandal, but accidentally lands the lead role. Shenanigans follow as he tries to live a double life as a cop and a toon star.

I just finished two big commissions, and I’m so happy they’re done and I’m excited to share them when the time is right. I’m going to be putting a pause on client work going forward now however, to focus on my current group collaborations.
