The Gallery of Beauties (Schönheitengalerie) is a collection of 38 small portraits of the most beautiful women from the nobility and middle classes of Munich, Germany painted between 1827 and 1850 (mostly by Karl Joseph Stieler, appointed court painter in 1820) and gathered by Ludwig I of Bavaria in the south pavilion of Nymphenburg Palace in Munich. Two additional ones were created by Friedrick Drück and one portrait was stolen in the XXth century and remains missing.
The set includes all the 38 portraits, with the original frame swatches, fully recolorable. The portraits are of:

“Ha 16 mesi e fino ad oggi per il nostro Paese non esisteva: nessuna trascrizione del suo atto di nascita, nessuna residenza. Un fantasma nel nostro ordinamento”, quando “i suoi genitori mi hanno raccontato la loro storia, non mi è stato possibile restare indifferente”. Sono le parole che Isabella Conti, sindaca del piccolo comune di San Lazzaro di Savena, nel Bolognese, ha rilasciato ai media dopo aver registrato il figlio di una coppia omogenitoriale.
Il piccolo Noah è nato negli Stati Uniti da maternità surrogata e ha due papà, un genitore biologico e uno intenzionale, che dalla provincia di Arezzo si sono trasferiti a San Lazzaro confidando nella disponibilità manifestata dalla sindaca. Alla registrazione, oltre alla prima cittadina e alla coppia di genitori, hanno partecipato l’ex sindaca di Crema Stefania Bonaldi, tra le prime a registrare in passato anche famiglie non residenti, e Maurizio Giancani, il referente delle Famiglie Arcobaleno per Emilia-Romagna e Marche.
“Bisogna scegliere la strada che metta al centro i più fragili e cioè i bambini” – ha proseguito Isabella Conti nella sua dichiarazione – “quella di prevedere per loro la massima tutela possibile, e cioè la doppia tutela genitoriale, così come previsto dalla nostra Costituzione. I bambini, da qualsiasi provenienza arrivino, meritano una speciale sensibilità e tutela in termini giuridici, etici, politici. Nella mia vita da sindaca ho più volte cercato di onorare i valori della nostra Costituzione e oggi non faccio nulla di diverso”.

palazzo serenzo , via degli archi , 12 florence , italy . occupying the two upper floors ,  this apartment has 4 bedrooms + 2.5 baths .  the roof has an outdoor seating area ,  nice for little outdoor dinners .
intro :  palazzo serenzo is a historical and land marked building from the 15th century .  the di conti family were a prestigious and one of the most prominent noble families in florence ,  and also allies to the medici family .  the di conti's head :  alessandro di coni commissioned the architect leonardo de'amici to build them a home that inspired the citizen's of florence .  much is a mystery about the family since ,  not much is known about them .  they however used their amassed wealth and title to serve as a symbol and for the overall well being of the city and her people .
their family can be traced back to wealthy merchants who amassed great wealth and power through their successful trading ventures .  with their wealth ,  the di conti family became influential in the arts ,  education ,  politics ,  banking and then some .  the matriarch isabella di conti was a poet and dedicated to italy's rich history and artistic expression .  she loved to host salons and invited some of the most influential guests .  
thus making their home a hub for intellectual and artistic exchange .  the family supported many renowned artists ,  architects ,  and scholars at the time . 
 they were known for the passion for collecting rare artifacts  (  some of which are said to be hidden within the palazzo , kept in a secret wing from prying eyes .  )  most of their collections from paintings to manuscripts are in mia's possession today .

as one approaches the palazzo ,  their eyes are drawn to it's entrance .  framed by intricately carved stone arches which are adorned with delicate floral motifs .  the heavy wooden doors were crafted from oak and fitted with brass handles and hinges .  stained glass windows are attached to the doors which filter rays of colors into the atrium .  at the far end of the atrium is an imposing statue of diana the huntress .  the staircase leading to the upper floors ,   the balustrades crafted with intricate scroll work that seems to intertwine like delicate vines .  each step is a testament to the masterful craftsmanship ,  with the polished marble or white and red ,  gleam from the natural light through the windows .
the di conti family played a pivotal part in the political landscape of florence ,   often holding positions of influence and participating in key decision - making processes .   alessandro was such a diplomat and politician ,   and his first born son :   marco would follow in his father's footsteps and also become a influential politician .   they were esteemed for their diplomatic skills ,   strategic alliances ,   and their commitment to preserving the city's cultural heritage .   there was an attempt on alessandro's life during the conspiracy to assassinate the important men in the medici family .   what also is a bit of a conspiracy is that he was also hiding a very important artifact that contained a supernatural magic that could give the handler wealth ,   unbeatable strength and power .   but of course ...   that's nothing but a conspiracy .
the family's crest is a shield that is dividend into four sections .   the upper left and lower right sections showcase a deep royal blue color ,   while the upper right and lower sections are adorned with a rich emerald green .   the upper left section has a golden lion :   representing courage ,   strength ,   and leadership .   the lower right section features a silver crescent moon :   symbolizing wisdom ,   enlightenment and the pursuit of knowledge .   the upper right section ,   there is a stylized golden olive tree :   representing peace ,   abundance ,   and prosperity .   lastly the lower left section showcases a silver key :   symbolizing guardianship ,   authority ,   and preservation of family secrets and legacies .   above the shield there is a regal golden crown which is obvious ,   representing the families noble status and heritage .   supporting the shield on each side ,   there are two majestic silver griffins :   representing courage ,   protection and watchfulness .   below the shielf there is a flowing ribbon that has the family's motto in latin :   vigilans et fortis ...   vigilant and strong .
mia's residency in the ancestral palazzo of the di conti family represents a continuation of their legacy , as she finds herself surrounded and enamored by the remnants of the bygone era .

the apartment : mia bought the upper two floors of palazzo serenzo ,  and more of a recent purchase since returning to public life .  it was during this time that she was working as a fixer ,  and fully taking on the persona .  the apartment contains four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms ,  her master bedroom being on the top floor facing the east .  the apartment has a large eat - in kitchen  (  obviously a more modern kitchen considering most kitchens in the 15th century would have been on the bottom floor .  )  a separate and formal dining room with a large farmhouse table ,  a library that adorns hundreds of books adorning the bookcases .  an official office and a room where mia holds her weapons and work related items .  like mia's brooklyn warehouse ,  the apartment  (  and ultimately the entire palazzo  )  has been fixed with the top tech and security systems available .  making the palazzo safe and secure for anyone who has malicious intent .  the armory is more traditional ,  housing some 13th - 15th century military artifacts and then some .  with the captivating blend of historical charm and timeless elegance .
the apartment begins at the entrance ,  with the heavy wooden double door ,  leading to a long hallway that showcases the first fresco  (  a celestial panorama ,  one with a rich night sky ,  adorned with twinkling stars and constellations .  with a radiant full moon and surrounding it with some etherial figures of mythological creatures .  )  another fun fact about the di conti family is that they were catholic but also believed in science too .  some believe the patriarch of the family was also an astronomer .

the hallway holds many artifacts and paintings from the di conti family personal archives ,  and some that she has bought and collected over the years .  tall windows with dark wooden panels invoke natural light into the rooms ,  because their open most of the year when she's there . the living room is further down the hall and to the right ,  though the room doesn't have any frescoes .  the real focal point is to the grand fireplace that is still in use to this day during the cold winter nights .  the walls are left natural ,  with the only painting done for the renovations and upkeep of the original state of the apartment .  there are exposed beams through out the apartment ,  though in some rooms the ceilings opt for a more traditional italian look with the original woodwork and floral etchings into the wood .  the floor is mostly terracotta and tile ,  therefore mia opts for many persian and turkish rugs to cover the floor .

she has a vanity table on the opposite side of the room ,  a large walk - in closet and her master bathroom just through that .  there within she has a extra large ornate gilded mirror ,  which is mostly made of brass .

** below mia ,  an elderly couple lives in the ground apartment and who also have the old kitchen of the palazzo .  luciano and maria amato :  a retired professor of literature and a traditional housewife respectively .  they both are warm ,  friendly ,  charming and most definitely consider mia one of their children .  they offer wisdom and humor in her life ...  absolutely nothing will harm them for as long as she's there . **

off to the right is a formal dining room , where a refurbished farmhouse table sits in the center of the room . wall sconces fitted onto the walls and a antique gold chandelier centered above the table . it can host around eight to tend people at a time , the kitchen is just further off to the side . while for the most part mia kept with the original feel to the apartment , the kitchen utilizes modern necessities . however a antique wooden island was put there for extra space to store things like dinnerware and pots . the four bedrooms are divided , with the master bedroom on the first floor . mia created a warm and comforting room , opting for a four - poster bed , crafted from aged mahogany and a painting above it . the bed is layered with linen shits and fluffy pillows , an inviting bed really for someone whose constantly running around .

Pesaro, il catercapodanno accende l'anno della capitale italiana della cultura 2024 Migliaia tra residenti e "cittadini temporanei" hanno salutato l'arrivo dell'"anno straordinario di Pesaro 2024", con il CaterCapodanno di Rai Radio 2 che dalle 21.30 di San Silvestro, alle 3 dell'1 gennaio ha aperto ufficialmente i dodici mesi della Capitale italiana della cultura. "Una serata straordinaria – ha detto il sindaco Matteo Ricci - che ci ha accompagnato nel nostro anno, quello della Capitale italiana della cultura. Pesaro ha salutato il 2023, e dato il benvenuto al 2024, come meglio sa fare: con una grande festa della città, all'insegna della musica, dell'arte, della condivisione e della partecipazione. Una bellissima cartolina di una piazza del Popolo gremita, viva, gioiosa. La dimostrazione che Pesaro ha voglia di essere capofila e protagonista della rete di città "medie" della cultura. È stato bellissimo iniziare questo anno speciale così. Grazie a tutti e buon 2024 Pesaro". "Il migliore avvio di Pesaro 2024-Capitale italiana della cultura - ha aggiunto il vicesindaco assessore alla Bellezza Daniele Vimini - con una dimensione veramente nazionale, una piazza gioiosa e festante, con temi profondi e il giusto svago. Grazie a Rai Radio2 e a Caterpillar per credere sempre in Pesaro, a tutti coloro che ci sono stati e a tutti coloro che ci saranno in questo anno straordinario che ci attende". Qui, dalle 21.30 il CaterCapodanno di Rai Radio2, in collaborazione con Amat, ha acceso l'ultima notte del 2023, in diretta nazionale sulle frequenze radio e sul canale 202 del digitale terrestre per raccontare, guidati dai conduttori Massimo Cirri e Sara Zambotti, (presente anche Simona Sala, direttrice di Rai Radio2) le tematiche care a La natura della cultura di Pesaro 2024. Tra cui quella snocciolata durante l'intervento di Isabella Conti, sindaca di San Lazzaro di Savena (BO) che, combattendo l'evasione fiscale ha permesso che il suo Comune avesse disponibili gratuitamente degli asili nido. Si è parlato di ambiente e sostenibilità insieme a Ferdinando Cotugno, giornalista del Domani, che ha seguito la Cop28. Protagonista anche il tema della Pace, che ha portato Pesaro a Gerusalemme, per incontrare la scuola di musica Istituto Magnificat, le sue ragazze e i suoi ragazzi ebrei, cristiani e musulmani. Bambini e giovani che suonano insieme, grazie a padre Armando Pierucci, frate francescano musicista e compositore, cittadino onorario di Pesaro che ha messo in scena la sua penultima opera. La piazza si è spostata poi a Nova Gorica e Gorizia per collegarsi con don Luigi Ciotti di Libera contro le mafie e con il suo messaggio per la legalità durante la Marcia della Pace che muoverà proprio dalla Capitale europea della Cultura 2025. Si è parlato anche di speranza, con Alessandro Bergonzoni, operatore culturale che in poche parole ha condensato il suo messaggio di fiducia per un buon anno. Sul palco di Pesaro anche il coro civico, diretto dal maestro Michele Dell'Utri, per trasformare in musica le parole del presidente Mattarella. Si è parlato anche di contrasto alla violenza sulle donne insieme a Rosalba Taddeini psicologa dell'Osservatorio di Differenza Donna (che risponde al 1522). La quinta edizione dell’Alessandria Film Festival, la manifestazione di cultura tra proiezioni ed eventi dedicati alla settima arte, si terrà dal 20 al 22 ottobre, nelle sale del Cinema Teatro Ambra, in viale Brigata Ravenna 8, e di Palatium Vetus, in piazza della Libertà 28. Si comincia venerdì 20 ottobre a Palatium Vetus con le presentazioni ufficiale del festival e del concorso, accompagnate da un dj set di Dakoma e un rinfresco di benvenuto offerto ad ospiti e partecipanti. Nello stesso giorno ci sarà il primo evento, nella sala del cinema Ambra alle 21, che vedrà la partecipazione del regista Ciro D’Emilio che dialogherà con il conduttore di podcast e cinefilo Davide Marra, in arte Mr. Marra in merito al cinema di genere noir e, verso le 22, ci sarà la proiezione del lungometraggio Per niente al mondo, diretto da D’Emilio. Confermato anche per quest’anno il workshop dedicato ai più piccoli, i Laboratori per i bambini, che  si terranno al cinema Ambra sabato 21 ottobre alle 10 a cura dell’attore e insegnante di recitazione Fabio Martinello; poi dalle 11.30 è prevista la proiezione del corto Desiderar le stelle, di Valerio Marcozzi. Nel pomeriggio di sabato, sempre al cinema Ambra, saranno proiettati i cortometraggi in concorso,  dalle 14 Cloro (Matteo Tarditi); Tra gli alberi (Daniele Lince e Elena Beatrice); Sonnestube (Davide Palella); The black ReCat (Paolo Gaudio); Il soggetto assente (Riccardo Pittaluga); Me and you (Valentina De Amicis), Danzamorfosi (Irene Conti Mosca, Ilaria Perino, Anita Casi e Isabella Pasqualetti) dalle 15.30: Living in a bubble (Natalie MacMahon e Nikola Drvoshanov, Germania, ); Lights (Jitka Nemikinsová, Repubblica Ceca); Europe by Bidon (Samuel Albaric, Thomas Trichet, Francia), Betty Brûle (Camille Vigny, Belgio), Asterion (Francesco Montagnner, Repubblica Ceca( e dalle 17 Manuale di cinematografia per dilettanti Vol. I (Federico Di Corato); Maestrale (Nico Bonomolo); Il barbiere complottista (Valerio Ferrara,); La fornace (Daniele Ciprì). Le proiezioni dei cortometraggi termineranno con la premiazione alle 19 e la giornata proseguirà alle 21 con l’intervento del filosofo e performer Riccardo Dal Ferro in arte Rick DuFer, che unirà cinema e teatro in una performance dal titolo I volti del male attraverso il Cinema e la conclusione alle 22.30 vedrà la proiezione del lungometraggio The Lodger diretto da Alfred Hitchcock, con la sonorizzazione a cura del compositore Riccardo Mazza. Alle 16 di domenica 22 a Palatium Vetus verrà proiettato il documentario L’isola, appunti per un documentario” diretto da Claudio Braggio e Alessandro Gavazza, mentre dalle 17 sarà presente l’attore Dario Aita,  che converserà con Stefano Careddu in merito alla sua carriera, dagli esordi con cortometraggi e web series fino alla collaborazione con il regista Paolo Sorrentino. La chiusura dei tre giorni di eventi sarà affidata allo sceneggiatore e regista Giorgio Diritti che dalle 21 dialogherà con Andrea Chimento. L’Alessandria Film Festival è organizzato dall’APS Paper Street 2.0 in sinergia con l’APS Requiem for a film, ha ottenuto il Patrocinio della Regione Piemonte e della Città di Alessandria e conta sulla collaborazione di Fondazione Film Commission Torino-Piemonte, del Festival Adelio Ferrero (cinema e critica), della ConfCommercio Alessandria, ha attivato una collaborazione con Me.Dea Onlus Contro la violenza alle donne ed è gemellato con l’associazione Piemonte Movie. Conexão com o Brasil Em um artigo publicado na Folha de S.Paulo, é mencionado uma entrevista de Weber ao repórter Mario Sergio Conti, que será transmitida na GloboNews, onde serão reveladas conversas de chineses com o então ministro Delfim Netto nos anos 80.
