ykw i just realized i haven't actually posted about the shit i liked about ghost game and i was thinking about like.

gammamon and gulusgammamon's relationship today???

the resolution of that whole thing really made me and my system happy, because one of us was literally in the middle of writing an essay about how no one ever does the "superpowered evil side" trope right, yeah?

ghost game is literally the only time i think they've ever done it alright from a system's perspective

mostly because while yeah, that whole conflict comes to a head at the climax of the series, it also doesn't end in some annoying shit where either gammamon Learns To Control His Evil Side (functionally destroying gulus) or Finds A Better Higher Power (technically he does as siriusmon but), he just goes DUDE YOU NEED TO CHILL and gulus grumpily obliges after getting the shit kicked out of him.

i'm pretty sure i've seen a few systems right more in-depth posts about this here on tumblr but like... yeah...

well in any event today is the day i gotta go clothes shopping for my Professional Internship Outfits™ and as much as i want to remain optimistic i also foresee the fact that i might die

I’ve had this fic idea for Honkai star rail that has progressively transformed into like full ocs being made and a full planet with a history and a social culture that came about as a result of a Stellaron and a complicated relationship between them and the IPC who have taken over their planet and refuse to deal with the Stellaron on the excuse that “after much research and simulation of what would come to pass for this planet after containing the Stellaron, we have realized it cannot be dealt with in a way that wouldn’t severely harm this planet and its people” which is a load of bull and a Doctor that aids the Astral Express who now has a whole history and motivations deeply tied to the Stellaron

And it’s just gotten so out of hand but I think I love it

It started as an excuse to portray my ideal form of whatever the fictional disease trope that Hanahaki is (aka with it representing repressed emotions not unrequited love and not requiring mutual love to heal and also being much more horrific and painful, not just coughing up planets, bc I think if we’re doing something like this it should be dialed all the way up to its potential) but it has morphed into connecting with other emotions as well not just love and just growing to completely overtake the body and now because of this there are numerous factions on the planets with their own theories of its origin as well as ways of handling it and just a lot spawned from it

And I have grown so attached to it without meaning to, it started as an excuse to fulfill this trope in the HSR universe but I love the characters and concept so much uelp help me

#the doctor character is the most fleshed out and easily the best #im in love with her #she began to seriously research this stellaron and the disease comin from it post very serious incidents within her life tied to it #and became a doctor solely to treat it #but with ipcs interference and only allowing doctors hired by ipc with ipc licenses to practice #she lost her office and has been working underground without charging people and trying to for #more theories about why the stellaron came about and everything #she rolls her eyes at extremists who think the stellaron was sent by the universe as a guide to change their ways #that their society was t o t a l l y on the verge of folding in on itself with all of the dishonesty that plagued them #her personal theory isnt nearly as grandiose nor sees it as a coming of the gods to take as a lesson #and she takes the IPC WOOO 😎 me and her both #honkai star rail #oc #original character #hsr #honkai star rail oc #hsr oc
