Born to Lysandra Mortis, a woman renowned for her otherworldly beauty and rumored to possess magical powers, Hikari's early years were tainted by tragedy.

Lysandra, a prostitute whose enchanting beauty captivated her clients, met a grim fate at the hands of one of them, leaving behind a small baby with eyes as bright as the stars. Lux, as she was named, was born into a country torn apart by conflict, and her mother’s death added to the countless casualties of the war. Her father was never in the picture; leaving her orphaned and alone at a young age. Lux was placed in an orphanage, where she endured years of neglect and hardship like the majority of children that were victims of the war.

Lux inherited her mother’s rare beauty, which captivated those around her. She was considered a beautiful child, with bright turquoise eyes resembling gemstones and ivory, long wavy hair, decorated with a pale, almost doll like skin; which made her stand out among the multitude of children.

Thanks to this, Hikari was given nice treatments, she was given beautiful clothes, toys, and delicious food that she had never even seen in her life; along with a room of her own that was in a better state than the others. However, her beauty became both a blessing and a curse when the orphanage's caretakers, desperate to make ends meet amidst the chaos of war, started offering children up as merchandise and "entertainment" for the aristocrats in the country.

Lux was one of the first children to be offered, and she quickly became one of the most popular among the aristocracy to use. She quickly gained fame by being compared to her mother, some of them called her“little Mortis”, directly comparing them. They enjoyed seeing the bruises form in her skin, and the contrast the scarlet of her blood made against the white of her hair.

Her innocence was ripped from her without a warning, leaving behind scars that ran deeper than the surface ones showed.

Hikari’s only comfort was a small group of kids she met through Kou, a bright child that approached her one day in the aristocrat-filled clubs, a victim of the same fate she had endured.

One day, a tall man with white hair, arrived at the orphanage, promising hope and happiness to Lux and her friends. Karlheinz was his name. He took Lux and four boys to the demon world, where Lux would see her best friends for the last time.

Waking up in an unfamiliar room, Lux found herself alone with Karlheinz, who revealed they were in Rotigenberg, her new home. Karlheinz, aware of Lux's potential from her mother's stories, began experimenting with his magic on her. He gifted her a new heart crafted from his powerful magic, granting her abilities beyond those of a normal human. His plan was starting, and she was to be one of the first subjects.

However, as his experiments progressed, it became apparent that Lux's severe trauma rendered her unfit for the role of the perfect "Eve" he so craved. “Lilith” he called her. The original, broken one.

Disappointed by his failed experiment, Karlheinz slowly withdrew his presence from Lux's life, leaving her alone in the tower where she had been subjected to his experiments.

The abandonment by Karlheinz, after initially showering her with attention and affection, shattered Lux's fragile state of mind. Faced with reminders of her past torment, she resorted to drastic measures to cope with her pain, including cutting off her long, silver hair that made all the memories from her childhood come back like a knife against her skin.

Years passed, and just when Lux had resigned herself to a life of solitude, Karlheinz returned with a new proposition. He presented her as a crucial component of his Adam and Eve project, a pawn in his game now started game with fate. He renamed her Hikari, meaning "light," perhaps as a cruel reminder of the beacon of hope she once represented. Desperate for a sense of belonging, Lux accepted her new identity and dyed her hair brown as a symbol of her desire to leave her painful past behind, she grew it again, but kept it shorter than it used to be in her childhood, and resorted to wearing thick chokers again.

She had one mission, to serve as motivation for them to fulfill his plan. She was then sent to the Sakamaki mansion under the excuse of a new bride, her true motives hidden beneath a façade of compliance and obedience perfectly crafted to charm the potential "Adam"s.

ABILITIES

Immortality - Lux ceased to age due to Karlheinz's experiments, and cannot die of natural causes. Her immune system is almost perfect, so human illnesses don't really affect her, she can only die if the wounds are too much for her body to heal itself.

Faster Healing - Lux's body has the ability to heal from injuries at an accelerated rate. Wounds that would be dangerous to humans heal within a short moment for her.

Enhanced senses - Lux's senses are heightened to be more than a normal human's. She can see better, hear better, and moves with grace and agility that surpasses human limitations.

Magic - It's unknown if Hikari's talent with magic is due to Karlheinz own magic or due to her mother's supposed one; but it seems she has an easier ability to it than a common human.

ETYMOLOGY

Hikari's name is written in katakana, but can also be written in kanji as 光.

Both of her names Hikari (ヒカリ) and Lux (ルクス) mean "Light" - Lux being in Latin and Hikari in Japanese, her name just seems to be a translation unlike how the Mukami's have different original names. (Like Yuma being called Edgar and Kou Emilio).

Her last name "Vanthorn" (ヴァンソーン) comes from the word "Vanus" in Latin, which means "vain" and the English word thorn.

Her real last name, "Mortis" comes from the Latin word "Mors" which means death.

Diabolik lovers beach day headcanons (ﾟ∇^*)

•Reiji did NOT want to go, but Yui and the triplets annoyed him until he relented (he also knew the Mukamis would be there, and wanted to see his bf)

•Yuma and Ayato were the only one that actually went into the water

•Well, Yui also went, but only to where she could stand. Then she just stands there with her unicorn float and a virgin Margarita like: „this is so much fun :D“

•Ruki and Reiji are just sitting next to each other under an umbrella, reading, drinking cocktails and ignoring everyones bullshit

•Laito is getting bitches

•Shu fell asleep, so the triplets and Yuma tried to throw him into the water, but he did a 180 on them, and threw them in instead

•Azusa is walking along the shore and looking for jellyfish. Shu is with him, since the triplets wouldn’t leave him alone

•Azusa: „did you know that jellyfish (crazy fact about jellyfish)?“

Shu:

•Kanato is eating his 48th ice cream, with an excessive amount of sun protection: 2 umbrellas, 5 layers of sunscreen, the biggest sun hat you‘ve ever seen and THICC sunglasses

•He also gave Teddy the cutest swim shorts ever (English isn‘t my first language :/)

• @diabolikpersonals (check out their blog if you like diabolik lovers) drew a meme about Ruki burying Ayato, so that just happened. I don‘t make the rules

•Eventually the Tsukinamis show up. Carla joins Reiji and Ruki, and Shin immediately does a cannonball into the water, fully clothed

•Kino actually showed up at the same time as the Tsukinamis, but waited in his car for half an hour after they arrive, since he didn‘t want to be overshadowed by them

•When he arrives however, Him, Ayato, Yuma and Shin immediately do swim races

•Kou is DETERMINED to spend the whole day with Subaru. Poor guy just wants to chill, but every five seconds:

„Subaru, do you wanna go swim with me?“

„Subaru, du you wanna take a walk along the beach together?“

„Subaru, do you wanna get a cocktail with me?“

„Subaru, do you wanna play beach volleyball together?“

Translator’s note: This is definitely one of those CDs which would benefit a lot from visuals. There’s the background noises - of course - but those can be rather vague. During the dodgeball sequence, you can constantly hear the boys making random ‘hah’ and ‘ugh’ noises as they throw the ball. I didn’t actually translate all of it though because at times other characters start talking on top of it and it would just become a mess. ^^;; Overall this was a pretty fun CD though. Personal highlights being Shuu doing a slam dunk and the MC outsmarting the boys not once, but twice. She’ll probably end up regretting it afterwards though, poor girl.

Laito: Hey, Bitch-chan! Have you decided which event to join at the upcoming ball-game tournament? (1)

Shuu: You still haven’t made up your mind? Still the same old Slowpoke, huh?

Subaru: They’re all mixed teams with students across all three different grades, right? So why can’t we just let the people who want to participate do their thing and call it a day?

Reiji: If this was a normal school, the different classes would be facing off against each other. However, Ryoutei Academy does not have a large enough number of students to apply said system.

Shuu: They should just cancel it already then. What a drag…

Kou: Per usual, you guys lack any kind of motivation, huh? Oh well, that only plays in our advantage, I guess.

Ayato: Keh! Those Mukami bastards…!

The Mukami’s approach them.

Ruki: What a rude way to greet someone.

Azusa: Good…evening…

Kanato: What brings you four here today?

Yuma: Isn’t that obvious!? ーー Oi, Sow! You’ll be joinin’ our team for the ball-game competition!

Reiji: I see. That does sound reasonable.

Reiji: I suppose miracles do happen after all. I just hope this isn’t a bad omen for what’s to come.

Kou: However, Ruki-kun takes the victory here, right? Slam dunks are forbidden according to the tournament's rules after all.

Ruki: Yes. …Too bad for you, Sakamaki Shuu.

Ayato: Haah!? That doesn’t matter right now, does it!?

Azusa: We’ll hold five different rounds for each category with one member of each respective family participating at a time….and the rules will be the same as during the actual tournament…That’s what we decided on, no?

Ruki: Breaking the rules leads to disqualification. I am fairly certain we established that beforehand.

Reiji: We most definitely did. We take this loss.

Laito: Nfu~ Shuu tried so hard too. What a shame.

Ayato: Tsk…!

Kanato: I do not mind. We just have to win the next one, that’s all.

Laito: So, what should we do next? Soccer? Softball?

Ayato: I’ll go next! ーー Oi, Yuma! Compete with me in soccer!

Yuma: Heh! Ya sure have a big mouth! I’ll crush ya real quick!

Reiji: ーー Listen carefully. You will compete in a penalty shootout and alternate to take single-shots at the goal in a penalty format. Whoever has the most points after five turns is the winner.

Ayato: Bring it on!

Yuma: Hell yeah! Gimme yer best shot, mate! …Ey!

Ayato: …In your dreams!

Ayato: How’s that!? I won’t let a single one of yer shots through!

They continue switching places and successfully stopping each other’s shots.

Reiji: …They’ve long surpassed the five shot mark.

Laito: This back-and-forth is giving me flashbacks…

Shuu: Just having to witness it feels like a chore…

Azusa: Should we resort to rock-paper-scissors again?

Ruki: We already had to rely on it earlier, so it wouldn’t be ideal.

Kou: In that case…Ah! Look! There’s takoyaki over there!

Ayato: …What!?

Ayato looks away.

Yuma: Hah! You’re wide open, mate!

Ayato: Aah…!!

Kou: Goal~!

Ayato: You bastard…Kou!

Shuu: Who is even so stupid to fall for that…?

Subaru: Oi! Doesn’t that go against the competition’s rules as well!?

Ruki: There is nothing in the rules which mentions it is prohibited, therefore Kou’s actions are perfectly legal.

Reiji: Haah…With Ayato’s loss, it is now 2 against 1 in their favor. We cannot afford any more losses.

Azusa: Fufu…Aren’t you glad, Eve? You should be able to take part in the ball-game competition together with us…

Kou: Pwaah~ I want to go home already…So let’s quickly take the victory home.

Kanato: Ugh…I do not like this one bit. Whether it’s Ayato’s sheer stupidity…or the way those Mukami’s are acting as if they have won already. Softball is next…I shall turn the tables by winning this one.

Ayato: Haah? Kanato, you can play softball?

Kanato: It’s your fault for losing! That’s why I have to step up now! So let’s hurry up and get started already! Who is playing from the Mukami team!?

Reiji: We’re not even with two points each.

Ruki: Only dodgeball remains.

Reiji: How about all ten of us compete in this one?

Azusa: All of us…? So four against six…? Shouldn’t we get some kind of handicap then…?

Reiji: Oh dear? Are you implying that you stand no chance against us otherwise?

Yuma: Haah!? Don’t be spoutin’ bullcrap!

Kou: Exactly! That sounds a bit unreasonable, doesn’t it? …You agree, don’t you, Ruki-kun?

Ruki: Like the others are saying, I do question the fairness of it. However…Right. We are willing to compete under those circumstances but if we do manage to win despite the disadvantage, I assume we will be rewarded accordingly?

Reiji: Very well. If your team wins, not only will she join your team but we will grant any one of your requests.

Ruki: Hmph. Deal. It’s settled then.

Ayato: Heh! This time we’ll crush you for sure!

They start playing dodgeball.

Laito: Ahーah~ Everyone’s totally fired up…

Azusa: Ah…The point of this game…is to avoid getting hit by the ball…right? …That seems really difficult…

Yuma: Oi, Azusa! Don’t ya dare jump in front of the ball!

Ruki: Kou, Yuma, Azusa. We should aim for Sakamaki Shuu first since he is the least likely to try and dodge. The middle triplet is second on the list.

Kou: Roger!

Yuma: Let’s get this over with and settle the score! …Take this!!

*Woosh*

*Thud*

Shuu: …Ah.

Yuma: Hah! Bingo!

Reiji: Ah! The ball’s in the opponent’s hands again!

Yuma: Next!

Reiji: We’ve lost two members because Shuu failed to claim the ball…I cannot believe he allowed himself to get hit so easily. Pathetic…Good god.

Ruki: It’s four against four now. We’ve evened the playing field. …Let’s go!

*Woosh*

Azusa: …Woah. That was close…

Reiji: Hah…!

*Woosh*

Yuma: Wait, you little…!

*Woosh*

Shuu: Pwah…I’m sleepy…

The remaining eight boys continue playing dodgeball.

Kanato: Nobody’s getting hit…It will be morning soon. Just how much longer until this is over with?

Shuu: You really think there will be an end to this?

Diabolik Lovers Anime Review

So these are only in order based on the ones I like first on down to my least favorite this is between the 1st and 2nd anime.

Ruki Mukami

Something about this man the moment he walked on to my tv screen. First of he is sexy as hell but I also love how it almost feels like he is in control of himself for the most part is dignified and at the end of the day he believes he can be adam to yui's eve by not forcing her but by letting her make her choices and him supporting her. The way he looks at her and the way he touches her I just can't this man is so full of passion and pent up sexual aggression I am pretty sure of as well. Anyways I also think him and Yui look the cutest together no doubt about it.

Kou Mukami

This guy honestly I didn't think I would like him but he can be cute with Yui I mean yes he has some anger issues still and expects stuff for giving stuff but thats thanks to his upbringing. Anyways the sweetest moment was when he gave her flowers or when he had her sleep with him in the bed so he wouldn't be alone. There is a place in my heart for him and I would love to see more of him.

Yuma Mukami

I love that even through it all he goes out of his way to grow plants and bring things to life in his own way. I don't feel like he is as rough with Yui and deep down has a very sentimental side to things. I feel like he would protect "Eve" more than hurt her and I even love he has a bit of fire about him as well. He isn't afraid to make it known how he is feeling even if you don't like it.

Ayato Sakamaki

This is another hot and cold for me like when I really love him I love him and when I hate him I hate him. Like the sweet moments he makes it known that she is his and that with him he will protect her and even the sweet kiss to give her the antidote was sensual. Even when he thought he was going crazy to bring her back from custody of Ruki and is brothers he seemed heroic for a moment. I worry sometimes though and the hate part of him is the fact if he is in love with her or just protecting his property only in his eyes. The fan he calls her pancake is cute even though you know it has to do as more of a derogatory instead.

Subaru Sakamaki

This is one of them that I am hot and cold with. When I think he is there for Yui and could be a romantic connection her turns around and goes back to bein a unsociable asshole again. He has alot of ups and downs yet at the same time there is alot of moments that he really shows how he feels about her without saying it. I think he is in love with her but because of his childhood I don't think he knows how to express affection even if he wanted to.

Laito Sakamaki

So this man is drawn more naughty than my mind can wrap around at times. Something about him makes me swoon and my knees week. I'm sure his voiced has alot to do with it because the sound of Saint Germain flows through my head every time Laito talks since its the same VA. I don't much care for his terms little bitch yet at the same time his sassiness and flirtiness are a real turn on in a twisted kind of way. Honestly I swear I feel like he is my guilty pleasure not just the show but him in general. The way he blushes as he gets turn on talking about what he is going to do *fans self* I like that he can be dangerous when you least expect it and the way he handles his mother out the window completely priceless.

Azusa Mukami

He became a badass the moment he through "Teddy" in the fire. I love the way he is drawn such a cool character. He is definitely very melancholy and can't be bothered with things that are too trivial. I did love how he took a liking to Yui and in the end didn't want to hurt her like he did in the beginning. His little knife set shows too much time on his hands he must use cutting himself. I feel like he is one I would want to see more of and see how his character can unfold. I hope in the games I really get to know more about him.

Reiji Sakamaki

I love the prim and proper feel of him almost like a well educated butler. I also think its funny how he hates Shuu. Even when he loses his shit and bites Yui he does it in a very well mannered more educated way than the others do. I mean don't get me wrong he is still forceful but its how he does it hard to explain. He is very knowledgeable which comes in handy for the rest of the family. Sometimes he plain annoys me though just opening his mouth he comes off like he is better than everyone else at times and its annoying.

Kanato Sakamaki

He got stunted in his growth badly thats for sure that or he has lost his shit one. I can't imagine the show without him yet at the same time he really gives me the creeps. The teddy bear fetish bullshit he had really creeped me out. Like no matter what he did he talked to it or had it watch him do things. I will say his role of burning his mom after how much of a piece of shit she was this scene was priceless and well deserved.

Shuu Sakamaki

I really thought he was going to be a decent vampire edition until I realized 99% of the time he is asleep somewhere and when he isn't he is being a ass to Yui. I have no love for him really he is too forgettable.

Kou getting a cat headcannon

Kou had to straight up BEG Ruki to let him get a cat to the point where Kou just came home one day with a kitten and everyone just had accepted the kitten because there was no stopping Kou.

Kou now has a insta account for the kitten which has more followers than him somehow but that doesn’t bother him at all.

Spams Subaru pictures of the lil kitten with saying cheesy shit like “our child is growing so fast 🥺” to then get a reply “Tch that thing isn’t mine”

Moments later Subaru was then forced to apologise to the kitten by Kou.

Said kitten then went missing for like a day but for that one day Kou went on a RAMPAGE. See Wanda in MoM? Yeah that’s him.

Started accusing Ruki of killing it , dug up Yumas farm incase Ruki buried it there , checked Azusas Knifes incase they had the kittens then stormed to the Sakamaki house hold.

Shouted at Shu for complaining that Kou was being bothersome , Got into a screaming match with Kanato after Kanato went

“You’re disturbing Teddy”

“Fuck your stuffed Cotten sack bitch”

“You probably ate my lil neko you sick fuck”

Rejii wakes out of his room to wonder what the fuck was going on just to then walk back in his room shaking his head not having the time or patience to deal with a very pissed of cat mom.

This ended with Kou sobbing onto Laitos chest and Subaru trying to be supportive(sweet boy) and pat Kous back.

“That purple fucker ate him”

“Now now Kou let’s not jump to conclusions”

“He has no problem eating people and his own moms ashes”

“…fuck you’re right”

In the end Yui offered to help Kou look around to find the kitten, just to find it in the rose garden just happily sleeping away. Kous mood switches FAST after finding his child and he happily picks up his kitten baby talking it as he walks home.

Everyone was slightly scared of Kou afterwards since that mf went ape shit.

「Monologue」

I was notorious for causing trouble across both realms. Not that such thing has changed much presently. However, I didn't know a single concept of laying low at the time. So, as it would eventually happen, I gathered some less than pleasant experiences. That day, though...

—Flashback—

[ Location: Unknown — Human Realm ]

Mystic: Huff, huff, huff!

Lout A: Get 'im! Get the sonnoba bitch!

Lout B: Oi, ya damn brat! Quit runnin'!

Mystic: Oh, fuck off!

Mystic off the road. A couple of men trail after him.

Mystic: ( I can't believe these guys hung around the area just to find me. Just my damn luck!

They just so stubborn, too! How come they haven't ran out of energy yet?! )

Get off my ass, will ya?!

Lout B: Big talk for a slut!

Mystic: Ugh!

( I'm gonna rip off all of their goddamn di—— )

Mystic appears distracted. There's a distinct smell on the air. He swerves off through the foliage and rams through until he reaches a clearing.

[ Location: Garden — Unknown ]

Mystic: What...? A mansion? Where the hell did it come from?

Lout A: Where's the brat?

Loat B: Lost 'is stench... but he must be hidin' 'ere somewhere.

Loat A: Tsk... if I just get my hands on 'im

Mystic flicks his wrist. A small strix materializes with a flap of its wings.

The owl grabs the patch. It flies off.

—Footsteps—

Mystic: Huff...

Mystic trudges through the garden.

( I can smell them all the way out here, though...

I decided to get help. Perhaps someone knocking at their garden door, rather than the main entrance, threw them off. It still amazes me that they didn't immediately kick me out. Well, Yuma nearly did. Both him and Kou were discussing the matter, while Azusa stared at me without saying much. Honestly... I felt safer near him out of all the other brothers. ——It was then that Ruki emerged. I was suspicious when he plainly offered to patch me up. And I was right to be. Everyone that offers help will always want something in return, after all...

[ Location: Ruki's Bedroom — Mukami Mansion ]

Mystic: Ugh... sigh——

Ruki: Nn...

Mystic: ( This guy...! )

That hurts, you fuckin' bat! Ah!

Ruki: Mm... is that so?

Ruki tugs at Mystic's hair. He gasps.

Ruki: It seems to me you are enjoying it.

Mystic: Tsk. Da—damn you...

「Monologue」

What happened afterwards is foggy. Whatever the difference between Ruki and others was, I couldn't remember a better experience under the fangs of a Vampire. Some time passed, and I had finally convinced my mother to allow me to attend school in the Human Realm. It was boredom that drove this decision. Princely responsibilities were becoming too much, I suppose. The first day I transferred... Well... it was one of those times the universe decided to be funny.

[ Location: Hallway — Ryotei Academy ]

—Footsteps—

Mystic: ( Homeroom's next...

——It was this one...? )

[ Location: Classroom ]

Mystic walks in. The few students converse amongst themselves.

Mystic: ( Not many students, either. It is a night school, I gue—— )

... ... ...

Mystic finds a familiar figure at one of the desks.

Ruki: ... You...

Review: The Makanai: Cooking For The Maiko House - Episode 1

I’ve been getting a TON of asks for me to review Maiko San Chi No Makanai San’s new live action adaptation, so now that I’ve had some time to finally sit down and watch it I can do just that! Episode 1: Change The show starts out in Aomori where Kiyo and Sumire are departing for Kyoto and are seen off by Kiyo’s grandmother and Kenta, their friend from school. This happens in the manga and the anime as well, but the show adds a line about Sumire’s parents not showing up because her father didn’t approve of her becoming a maiko. I honestly never questioned why Sumire’s parents were never at the station before, but that line actually makes the whole thing make sense now! Next we’re whisked off to Kyoto where, upon arriving in Gion Kobu, Kiyo and Sumire almost immediately run into maiko, who are played by none other than Mameaya of Ninben and Mami of Minoyae! On their way to their destination they spot even more maiko, who are Nanoha, Mameju, and Yuzuha of Tama! I really enjoyed the cameos and I bet the real maiko enjoyed playing themselves too. From there they meet the two okasan of the Saku yakata (the show uses the term yakata instead of okiya, so I’m also going to use the term yakata from now on), Azusa and Chiyo. This is a slight deviation from the manga and anime where there was only one okasan and they all just called her “okasan” instead of giving her an actual name. The girls then go to settle into their new digs when they’re confronted by one of the other girls who lives there, Ryoko, who quite rudely tells them that they’re not cut out for this and that they’ll quit soon enough (what a bitch :O!). It then skips ahead three months to the day where the yakata is changing out the sliding doors for summer, and the local otokoshi have come to help out. It’s here that we first get to meet the makanai of the Saku yakata, Sachiko. She’s a middle aged woman who’s brought ingredients to make everyone in the house some fresh somen noodles to cool everyone off on a hot day. It’s here that we’re first introduced to what a makanai is and Sachiko’s physical problems that ail her. After the lunch is over Kiyo tries to help massage Sachiko’s back, but things go awry when Sachiko ends up putting her back out when she tries to get up off the floor of the yakata. This spells the end of Sachiko’s time as the makanai for the Saku yakata. We then cut to lessons at the Nyokoba, where Kiyo isn’t exactly a master of flower arranging (her arrangement seems to just flop over), then to drum lessons where Kiyo can’t hold a beat to save her life, and then onto dance lessons where Kiyo just can’t keep up, to the point where she’s told to go sit off to the side by the dance teacher as she’s interrupting the lesson. Poor Kiyo is even reprimanded after the lesson and is made to question whether she should keep pursuing the career of a maiko or not. However, all Kiyo can think about during the exchange with the dance teacher is the teacher’s udon noodles (I’m guessing that they did this to show a pattern between Kiyo and food, but it did feel slightly odd). Sumire and Kiyo then walk home together and Sumire is clearly worried for her friend, but Kiyo just shrugs it off like the meeting with the dance teacher meant nothing at all. Back at the yakata the maiko of the house are getting dressed and some explanation is given as to what they wear for certain months of the year. Kiyo’s clumsiness leads to Sumire taking over to help the otokoshi get the maiko dressed and following after the otokoshi to go help them dress a geiko called Momoko. In the manga and the anime Momoko is (spoiler) the onesan of Sumire once she debuts as a maiko, but we never actually meet her. Here she shows up in episode one, so we know that she’s meant to play an integral part in the show somehow going forward. Sumire follows Momoko around for the night like shikomi often do and is at one point rewarded by asking if she’d like to watch an ozashiki that Momoko will be performing at. It’s here that we can see Sumire’s passion for the profession as she watches Momoko dance and you just know that Sumire wants to dance like Momoko someday. The next day, Kiyo goes to visit Sachiko in her apartment and cooks tomato curry for her, while Sachiko explains the secret to being a makanai: that you have to be able to cook something that will satisfy everyone’s taste buds since the residents of the yakata come from all over Japan and have grown up with different seasonings. Kiyo takes this to heart and returns to the yakata, where at night a mysterious phone call is answered by Chiyo and the episode ends. So far I’ve really liked the show and while it’s taken some deviations from the manga and anime, it’s likely to explain them in the future, so I look forward to checking out the rest of the series ^^!

Azushin Headcanons That Woke Me Up at 3 AM (Part one)

🔪For those who have listend and read the translations of the Drama CD “Scariest Little Brother” (among those line) Yk how Azusa begs Shin to hurt him because Reiji brought up how violent and strong he was?

🐺I imagine Azusa crawled over to Shin during that CD and sat on his lap and Shin started to FUCKING LOOSE IT

🔪It took Azusa a while to realize Shin crushed over him because of Shin himself just bullying Azusa

🐺Note: Shin bullied Azusa NOT to hurt him, but in an attempt to flirt over all (it backfired and Azusa didn’t bitch towards it cuz he enjoyed the insults)

🔪The poor baby Mukami was so confused until he checked his contacts and noticed Shin’s number erased from his device (he thought nothing of it)

Day 1

5 things I like about Laito

1. Obviously, his looks.

When you look at his face you realize how playful, maybe carefree he is, yet his eyes look mistrerious. And that's the biggest "magnet" in him, this contrast between his "shalowly-mischievous" personality and the gaze which talks to you: " I know. I know everything you don't."

Like...

Attractive mystery.

And obviously the design itself is great (I mean, all characters design in DL games, not the anime hahaha, are great. )

2. The personality conflict.

Do I really need to explain how fascinating it is to watch Laito struggles with his own self? But don't think I'm a sadist I genuinely feel bad for him, but man, it's so interesting to watch the full way of character's realizing how far he'd gone with those lies to himself...

It's seems like he's completely lost sometimes?

3. Attitude towards Yui.

Yes, be calls her Bitch-chan, which is annoying but ITS NOT THAT BAD...

The way Yuma, Ruki, Ayato (and sometimes Shu) call her just kills me...

So I really like the way Laito treats her, though it's embarrassing.

Also I guess he hadn't shared his opinion about Yui's body. I mean, other guys would say that she's looking like a middle schooler, some of them would just say "she's flat" or smth and that's kinda offensive.

I'm not saying Laito is sane and he'd never ever said such to her, but I'm sure it wasn't in such amount as others did...

4. HE IS FUNNY AS F.CK

Whenever he appears (his own routs or his bros routes) he either creates funny situations and give chills, idk.

I can't say who else has the same funky charm...

Anyways, anytime he appears I'm ready to smile uncontrollably

5. His relationship with other characters, not only with his brothers. He's kinda...

Sweet with them? Especially if we're talking about Laito in the big brother role.

For instance the sub scenario with him in Azusa's route in Vandead Carnival, also attitude Laito has to Kanato or Subaru, he's the type giving advice, and sort of... caring? Idk that's so nice of him...

Laito-kun did not show any signs of going back to normal.
