Death Note trending without any specific reason for it (afaik) is so funny it's like. well Tumblr has got nothing else going on at the moment so now the nerds who've been posting about a ten year old manga series for years look like the most interesting people around

He is a living weapon, designed for a purpose he never agreed to. His creator filled his head with a false view of the world, one that he grew disillusioned with. He was awakened from a basement and thrown into the fight. Slowly, slowly, he learned to open up and befriend two other loners like himself. The normal world, the world he dreamed about joining one day, is still a little difficult for him to adjust to- he's unfamiliar with a lot of the culture, he speaks in an overly formal tone and he has trouble focusing on anything that isn't the mission. He is standoffish and has a special interest in weapons. He clashes ideologically with Sonic and would not call him a friend; to this day their relationship is rocky. His colors are black and red, with gold highlights.

Why do we strike?

Because the United Nations General Assembly will vote tomorrow, Tuesday 12-12, on a ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons. This vote must not fail as the Security Council vote failed. The ceasefire must take place.

Do not allow business as usual. You can participate no matter what country you are in by:

Not buying anything.

Not going into work.

Not going to classes.

Protesting, posting, sharing. Also, please look out for any news about future strikes as this is far from the last one, thank you.
