the problem with not having any new fics to read bc they havent been posted yet is that when Invisible Tigers Are Hunting You, there is no distraction

so i just learned felix went live the other day and i had coca cola bottle and drank it (i think that was it) and people were pointing out in the comments about how it probably endorses genocide and he apologized in the live and now jype is taking down uploads of that same live that were uploaded on youtube and i guess yes it's because jype had that stupid collab with them not that long ago and even made a song for it that a lot of people agreed on boycotting but this is honestly insane??

so what’s the consensus wrt watching gomens2 and the morality thereof, are we shoveling money into bezos’s piehole to show our support and demand for quality television or are we pirating to avoid aforementioned piehole-shoveling. please advise before i do have a minor anxiety attack over which option will get me sent to hell and/or stockaded in the town square the quickest

Ok so today I found out Nanbaka ended some time ago so I spoiled myself and man, the ending was so rushed and angst for no reason and overall disappointing??? The author threw very important lore info and a plot twist that felt all out of the blue near the ending... I love angst but when it is well written, and this was not. Their friendship was real, even if prior to the series start wasn't I know what I read was real friendship and this ending ruins for me one of the main themes of this show.

I don't post a lot about this series because I started it before I even had Tumblr but Nanbaka was everything to me back then. Even after I was forced to move on because the english translation stopped and finding all chapters fan translated was very difficult I'd find myself thinking about these characters sometimes and I almost dare to say that it was a comfort series. Not being able to keep reading it without going through a Odyssey was already upsetting but the ending? What in the actual fuck is that. Is not even the fact it was a sad ending what bothers me the most, it's that it was sad and felt bad written or without proper building 🙁

This literally summaries my opinion regarding what happened to the main group:

If spy x family or yuu & grim (including all of their friends in twst) separate in the end I'm losing all hope of being happy and relaxing with this trope without fearing the chance of getting backstabbed again forever

my brother's moving away for 6 years tonight right and we're playing a family board game w uncle Bob and he just remembered for the first time there the other day that he's actually my brother's godfather and we were joking around and my brother said he should've made apple crumble to see him off, because he's known for making it so well and he makes it so randomly and rarely, and uncle Bob like. ran out the back door into his own house nextdoor without expl. and it turns out he whipped one up and put it in the oven in less than 10 minutes so that my brother could eat it before he has to leave for the airport

me seeing knight!eddie stories popping up both makes me very happy but also makes me glance at my own knight!eddie wip i’m two chapters deep into and just glare. like, “c’mon, man. they’re all rooting for you out there. why can’t you just write yourself?”

Is it like genuinely pathetic that I'm having a blast on holiday but I crave the couple of hours every 4 days or so when I can write a bit of snz fic in a cafe?

I love letting other people watch things first and then give feedback about it so I can gauge whether or not I want to spend time on it. Truly could not give fewer fucks about spoilers. If the story is good I will still have a fantastic time.
