Charity Commissions 🇵🇸
Hello guys, it's been a while!
To cut to the chase: I would like to help spread both awareness and support for those suffering in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. So, in light of this, I will open up some commissions where rather than paying me, you simply provide proof of your donation.
I know this blog is mainly just for my art, but if I can use my art for any good I would like to do so. If you cannot donate, please reblog!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are some recommended links:
E-sims for Gaza: https://gazaesims.com
Palestine children’s relief fund: PCRF
Women for women (hygiene kits, blankets, food): Urgent Support for Women in Palestine Women for Women International
Anera dignity kits: https://www.anera.org/stories/gaza-emergency-aid-includes-dignity-kits/
If you are Egyptian you can also donate to any of the organizations listed under the Instapay, Talabat, Fawry apps, or your bank app under their ‘donations’ services with the equivalent price in EGP (based on the bank rate). Just provide a screenshot.
Of course, if you yourself have a related link, such as another reliable charity organization or a go-fund me, that works as well. And of course, if you have any other links I can update this post with please let me know.
With any cause, please bear in mind there will be people of all sorts who will want to exploit people’s compassion. So please, if you are to donate to any organization, exercise some caution and do your research.
For a written list of the prices, the do/don'ts, and so on, please look under the read-more for more details!
How Does this Work?
Send me the idea you have and I will let you know if it’s good to go or if it’s not appropriate (or if I can’t do it due to time/work)
When you get the okay, I will ask for more details (references, colour schemes, poses, which charity you plan to donate to, etc.)
I will draw you a basic thumbnail for your confirmation (these are very vague sketches to just pinpoint the pose).
Once you confirm the pose, I will ask you to donate and I will get to work
Send me a screenshot of the e-mail confirming your donation (blur out/colour over any personal info!), or the “Thank you for your donation!” screen if there is no e-mail
You get your drawing in exchange!
NOTE: I will likely post them on my artblog and Instagram, so if you don’t want them posted there or would like to remain anonymous, please let me know! If you are fine with me posting them, please give me the handle/name you would like to be referred to as.
Also bear in mind I have a full-time job, so they might be a while! But you WILL get your commission.
HALF-BODY
$5-$9: Lineart $10-$14: Monotone $15-$19: Colours, flat $20-$24: Colours, shaded Above $25: Colours, shaded, with background
FULL-BODY
$10-$14: Lineart $15-$19: Monotone $20-$24: Colours, flat $25-$29: Colours, shaded Above $30: Colours, shaded, with background
Yes-es:
Fan art is fine (I won’t be getting any monetary profit from this)
Characters from original stories
Personas/self-inserts/fan characters/Tabletop RPG characters
Real!you, family members, friends, etc. (at the risk of them not looking like them at all :’D)
Animals (they might be a bit less cartoony as I'm not used to them but yes)
Personifications/anthropomorphic/strange creatures in general
Nos:
Not more than one character per commission
No discriminatory content
No religious figures, symbolism or content (I am Muslim so… Cannot Really Do That)
No extreme gore or suggestive themes, or characters from media that feature a lot of either (this is because my art blog is PG-13, and I’d rather not anything off-colour for a charity commission anyway)
No using these with AI or NFTs
Do not use for commercial purposes. These are for charity!
I reserve the right to decline your commission if I feel like you have insincere ulterior motives, or if an emergency comes up.
Generally, keep this PG-13/grandma-friendly!
Pleases:
References (preferably image based, but text is fine if there is no visual depiction/canon design)
Colour you associate with the character if monotone
Poses (just not lewd or rude)
Context (like description of their personality, what they like, their setting, etc.)
Ask first:
You are free to repost the artwork on another platform as long as you credit me as the artist. Absolutely use them if you need a picture for something like an RP account!
If from your original work, you may use them in non-commercial projects, just please credit me (and give me a heads up so I can go check it out! :D).
If an original character from an original story, you are free to use the artwork to help with things like visual development (let’s say, you are creating a game, comic or pilot, and you want a reference for the artists on your team to use), just once again give me a heads up and credit me as the artist.
If you've made it this far, and can't donate, thank you so much for your interest anyway. At the very least, this reached someone.

Flat color: $35
Shaded: $45
Colored lineart: +$8

If you have an idea for something not listed here, please ask!
Backgrounds
I have recently changed my tune about backgrounds. If you would like a background, let me know and i will tell you if i think im up to it. Complex backgrounds are a fee of +%50 as they take a lot of time. If you have multiple characters, the background price is calculated AFTER the price of the additional characters. It is up to me to decide what a complex background is.
Simple/abstract backgrounds remain free of charge. If i think a work would benefit from it, i will put a solid or swirly colored shape behind it and send you a version with and without the background so you can decide which you like better. You may request a basic background on your own.
TOS:
I retain the right to post your completed piece to any of my social medias to use as an example of my work and a testament to my reliability. I will credit you when I do.
All payments are non-refundable unless for some reason i am unable to finish your piece, or we get part way through the process and i feel that i am unable to do your character(s) justice.
You MAY:
Post your completed piece wherever you please WITH appropriate credit by either linking my page or simply stating my name and platform.
edit my art in regards to cropping for profile pictures, adding an overlay to fit a theme, and resizing to fit a platform better
You may NOT:
feed my hard work to ai
use it for anything NFT related
claim it as your own
remove my watermarks
use it commercially
What is the process?
It's pretty simple! Send me a dm with a photo of your character(s) and tell me what you'd like. Let me know if you need a few days to get the money, or if there's a time constraint (like if the piece is a birthday or holiday gift). If you don't have an idea for a pose, please include a brief description of their personality. If there's characters interacting, let me know their relationship to one another and their dynamic.
I will respond with a price and if you're ok with proceeding I will mock up a vague sketch so you can get an idea of what it would look like. This will be watermarked and it will not even be very recognizable as your character. That's because I have been scammed and ghosted in the past, even with a very rough and watermarked sketch.
After that you will send 100% of the payment in order for me to proceed. Please note that PayPal takes a cut of the money in taxes when you send it as a buisness purchase. Be kind and send a little extra so that i actually receive full payment for the commission.
I work on a first come first serve basis, but i may work on a piece while waiting for approval on another. I will let you know if there is someone ahead of you. Once payment is received i will message you frequently with updates and for approval. Once lineart is finalized, i will update less often in order to creater a better final reveal. Your final piece will already be glazed to fight against ai stealing my style.
Depending on my life circumstances, this whole process could take from 1-3 days up to a month. The later is very unlikely, and i will message you with updates if i feel i am taking too long.
Examples of my work:
These are simply commissions that ive done in the past! I have many more examples of personal art on my blog

Note
while you're talking process, any tips on doing color fast? just if you have any things that streamline flatting, etc? comics always take me foreverrr to color
i'm very sorry if your art style has open or textured lines because really the only way to color something fast is if the lines are all closed and you can use the fill tool. like i can never make a comic with the textured brush pen i actually really like using Because it doesn't work with the fill tool.
i also don't do shading, my character art remains flat, the colors just get adjusted for the lighting and unless it's Dramatic, there's no shadows. and my backgrounds (in hunger's bite at least) are generally just a solid color with some loose lineart overtop to imply the space.
basically do less, is how i do it fast. as long as it's harmonious you can get away with doing very little

The wait list for 2024 is open!
DM me if you’re interested! Rbs are appreciated!
More info under the cut, I'll try to be brief, please read ↓
〃くコ:彡 ₊ ˚ ⊹ 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝
Process and general info
DM or email me ([email protected])* your inquiry so we can discuss the quotes and book you a slot if none are available at the moment. *I might take I little longer to reply emails.
Payments are made via PayPal invoices, so I'll need your PayPal email.
All prices are USD.
My wait list is just a rough estimation. The time I take on each work varies and sometimes there are cancellations, as well as other external factors, so even though I'm mostly on time, the possibility I will be a bit late or a bit earlier than expected exists.
IMPORTANT: If you change your url after getting a spot on my wait list please remember to give me a heads up so that later I can still find you!!
It's alright if you need to reschedule your comm for another time, or even just cancel it, just let me know. No cancellations once I have started working though, and no refunds.
I start working after receiving half the payment upfront.
References are appreciated but not required, and well detailed descriptions work just fine, but please try to have all information necessary for the commission ready. (References and/or descriptions for the characters appearances, facial expressions, clothes, poses; background, if any; lighting/type of coloring.)
I won't charge for tattoos of which you provide transparent pngs.
I reserve the right to refuse a commission.
I reserve the right to post my artwork and use it on my portfolio, but I'll keep a commission private if so requested.
The commissions are for personal use only.
Will Do
OCs, fanart, ship art;
Suggestive themes, NSFW, and even fetish art (with only a few exceptions I highly doubt I will encounter here, but who knows);
Gore and body horror;
Animals, humanoids and furries.
In doubt just ask, I'll give almost anything a confident try.
Won't Do
Mecha;
Hateful imagery;
IRL shipping (doesn't apply to actors interpreting characters);
Create new designs (characters, clothes, etc.);
And I will no longer be accepting irl face claims/painting real people on painting style commissions (this doesn't apply to realistic looking video-game characters).
The styles:
Sketch- just the early stage of the drawing, rough forms and somewhat messy lines. May include 1 rough color for emphasis;
Lineart- clean lineart with the brush of your choice (I have 3);
Flat colors- includes lineart and simple coloring, no shadows/source of light;
Shaded- includes lineart, more detailed coloring compared to flat colors, simple lighting/one source of light;
Painting- either pieces with no lineart (regardless of type of lighting), or those which have lineart + complex lighting/two or more sources of light.
You can see more of my art on my blog tagged as #myart. If you find a style you like but is not sure of which category it fits in, just ask me!
〃くコ:彡 ₊ ˚ ⊹ 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 𓆝
And finally, seen below are my other contact info. Most of these accounts are still empty and I honestly don't plan on leaving tumblr, after all the real "tumblr is shutting down" is the friends we made along the way yadda yadda, but seriously my heart can't take it anymore. I'll rather be safe than sorry.

Have u ever posted your comic or animation workflow anywhere? Im super curious on how you tackle the process, especially not using a drawing tablet. I know you have a very simple (and adorable) style so that probably helps in terms of workflow -- Im just curious about the steps you take.
Thank you! With both comics and animation my key thing is to not spend too much time on any particular thing, just draw loose and fast. Honestly the only downside to drawing with a mouse is that I can tell my arm has extremely specific muscle memory regarding it- if my mouse breaks and I get a new one I have to spend a good month or so just letting my hand get used to it again lol. Same with if my setup gets readjusted too much- right now my setup is my mouse on one of those padded mousepads, on top of 2 books, with my elbow resting on my 3DS case (I'll get an actual pillow or something for it eventually lol). But luckily thanks to this I suffer very minimal wrist pain 👍
(...Okay I started to go really in depth in my process here, so sorry if this is way more than what you were asking. Putting it under a readmore just to save space lol)
With MFM in particular, I start by writing out the entire script for the next story arc, which really is just all of the dialogue and vague notes about any important actions. Then I do the paneling with very loose stick-figure like sketches of where the characters are and what they're doing. I prefer having very little planning when it comes to character poses and panel shapes, coming up with those on the fly makes things much more exciting and faster to make. But it's the opposite with dialogue... it needs to be 100% FINAL before I draw a single line lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's part of my script for my most recent chapter, as well as what my extremely loose goofy thumbnail sketching is like. I write the script as one big thing and don't separate it into pages until I actually start drawing- then I go and color change it just to keep track of what dialogue goes on each page
After that, I go back and do the ACTUAL sketch, as well as the lettering (I don't believe this is how it's done professionally. I used to do lettering as the very last step in the process... but then found it hard to cram speech bubbles in the right places lmao.) After that is lineart, coloring, background flat colors, then shading/rendering for all of it. I do each step in batches, as in I sketch out ALL pages of a chapter before moving to lineart, I line ALL pages before starting coloring, etc. I find it way easier to be productive when it's broken up like that, though when I first started the comic I used to draw each page to completion before starting the next (but also, the comic's style was DRASTICALLY simpler back then haha)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Unfortunately I merged some of the shading to the background flat colors so it's not entirely accurate... oops) FireAlpaca has a sand texture feature that I only found out about last year- adding that to the backgrounds makes them look 10x better with WAY less effort.
With animation, it depends on the project. For simple 5-10 second animation I make for fun, there's very little planning lol. I skip some steps in the process- I'll sketch out the keyframes (and maybe any difficult inbetweens if necessary), line those, then go straight into making linework inbetweens. I'm not a cleanup artist and have no experience in that, so I always find trying to line my rough animation makes everything jittery and wobbly. If I do it with a clean line from the start then I can avoid that and save a lot of time 👍
For my bigger projects (such as the Parvey cartoon and the MFM Kickstarter trailer), I do the whole animatic with final audio first and foremost, with the animatic being almost like the keyframes. I split them up into individual shots, .mp4 files anywhere between 1-30 seconds usually, and animate those one at a time. I'm a huge fan of free to use programs and try to use them as much as I possibly can, here's a list of the ones I use:
FireAlpaca- for the actual drawing part itself (storyboarding/animating/etc). FireAlpaca has a feature that lets you export every frame as it's own drawing, as well as an onion skin mode
Windows Movie Maker- for compiling all of those frames into video format, creating individual shots. If you upload all of your frames and set them to around 0.08 seconds, it equals about 12fps (I usually animate at 0.10 seconds/10fps, its a bit slower but looks nice)
Onlinesequencer.net- for making music. It's the place I've made all of my songs on, like the timeloop song, hyperworkaholic, and the background music for the MFM Kickstarter trailer.
Audacity- for editing audio/music. Also great for recording things directly from your desktop
DaVinci Resolve- for editing and putting together all of the shots into one big video. Can get kind of intensive on the computer during rendering, so watch out.
YouCut (app)- also for editing and compiling shots, I used this one a lot a couple years back but I'm not sure how well it holds up. Doesn't need much phone storage to download but needs a lot to render videos.
MS Paint (yes really)- for typing up text. FireAlpaca has a text option but I don't like it as much as Paint's.
...The only thing I genuinely can't do alone is voice acting. Luckily there's a big voice acting community on Twitter and they're all amazing to work with!
This got... way more in depth than I planned for it to be, so sorry if this is way more than what you were asking lol. But that's my general process when it comes to my art 👍

colouring tutorial from sygni aka sima
DISCLAIMER 1. eng is not my native language 2. i am using techniques of a realistic art so it's not for everyone! but you may find some tips interesting tho
big text screamer
so obv 1. making our sketch (and after lineart if you're using it bc im not) 2. filling up background, then character. think about what atmosphere you want to create in result, try to use different background colours for your characters for diff effects in result. i've had a small post with a little explaining for choosing colours, you can use that too! i suppose i can make a post about emotional effects of different colours if someone interested bc that's really a HUGE part of final effect on viever. actually i can tell and explain in art so much feel free to send questions <:D so like that! (tbx i changed it like 3 times so it's okay to change your colouring desigions mid-drawing if you're feeling something feels off)
Tumblr media
3. time to get some basic shading going! don't skip that step i swear to god you can think bruh sima for what do you they added overlays that i can use after i finish the art? are you a caveman or what please just trust me it'll add so much charm in your art so how to do it: 1. choose where your light sourse is. on my art it's in front of griande 2. use a CONTRASTING colour for each big part of a character (hair, clothes, face etc) and make shades with that. REMEMBER dark colours going next to light ones, light to dark. please don't use black for shades for god's sake. also shades are cold coloured most of the time thats important too ig 3. if you're confused where you shall place shades then find a ref or make a photo of yourself OR use a mirror (preferable!) and this things can help you understand face shading better too \/
Tumblr media
don't feel not good enough that you need to study sth or use refs it's fully okay every good artist using that!
Tumblr media
so i know this looks like mess BUT what did i do (guys trust the process): 1. desided i want a face to be a centre of viewer's attention so made everything else darker 2. put a light on a face, the most light shade on the parts which are closer to light sourse - at my art it's nose and a bit of forehead. and exact same thing but backwards with eyes remember face isn't flat! so even if forehead is in the light, it slowly goes back, so it won't be light all the way (you can see it on previous photo of the gypseous head)
then the longest part goes: we're using semitones (colour which are simmilar to base shade) to connect shades to light parts, to add volume to the art make sure your brush moves according to .. ehh.. face shape? just take someone and weirdly touch their face to understand how it goes and with your brush cope that example (look closely to the strokes):
Tumblr media
so i've did something
Tumblr media
i know this looks like "let's add some details" type of thing but: i've added semitones to the shadows to correct their forms -> to suit the relief of the face added a contrasting (to pink of the base) orange as blush, a dark blue to show the farthest spots from light added a basic reflects on the sides of the noce (orange spots), chin (peach). reflections on things are sooo important and add so much life in your art! yet it's easily done: you just create a little light blended line on the bottom of your shade. if next to thing you're making a reflection on is the diff-coloured thing, then pick a colour from it and mix them. example \/
Tumblr media
made an edge on a forehead (dark-red line) yet i'd make it more accurate later, and will add it on the chin and sides of the nose to highlight them and separate from other parts of the face. actually this edges are just the darkest spots between the light of the item and reflection on the bottom of it. i like to make it noticible, yet someone tend to blend shades in. if you're just studying how to shade i'd reccomend starting without using blending yet you can notice how colours going more dull from forehead to chin to make her look like she's angling her head forward, i guess i'll make it more noticible later
AND i'm going to sleep but i have more to tell + i need to finish the work later anyway so put some feedback for part 2

hi it’s snaildroid!!! Just wanted to say that I love your art so fricken much! Your comics make my day every time I see them I swear. I wanna know how you do your lighting, it’s always so pretty and soft <3
ahhh thank you! it makes my day that you like them :')
to be honest, my lighting style is pretty quick and dirty, and it's certainly nothing super original or groundbreaking, but here's the process under the cut:
Tumblr media
So, the first picture is flats. I do those all on one layer (or putting them all into a folder) under the lineart.
Then, I use a clipping layer and fill bucket all one color. This color depends on the mood lighting, and it unifies the flats. If it's night, I tend to use a darker purple. If it's nostalgic, I use orange, etc etc.
Tumblr media
Then I set the layer to multiply and lower the opacity for what works for the time of day. This is a low ~19%
Tumblr media
Then, I'll add lighting, again on a clipping layer. I'll usually pick an orange/yellow color and do vague rim lighting with an opacity sensitive brush. I tend to be too lazy to render, and I like having it blend in some places but be hard, like cell shading, in others. I also do sort of "fake rim lighting" where it's rim lighting wherever the heck I want it instead of logically where light might go, but it depends on how realistic the piece is.
Tumblr media
Recently, I've started to copy and paste that clipped layer and change the effect to Glow Dodge, and lower the opacity depending on how vibrant I want to be. This adds a little more vibrancy and color variation without a lot of extra work, like lining with pink across the edge boundaries like a lot of artists do. (Which I love, but I am. lazy.)
Tumblr media
and viola! Quick and dirty lighting. Sometimes, I'll adjust the colors with tonal correction or add gradient maps (aka the "make colors good" button) but for the most part, this is how i shade for comics! I hope it helps. Let me know if you want anything more specific or to explain something else :)

How i make my drawings
Hello! Since @wolfsune09 asked how i make my shading and all that i decided to make a little tutorial on my shading style! (I draw in Clip Studio Paint)
Also english is not my fist language so i'm sorry if i make any mistakes or say weird sentences!
So let's start with brushes:
The brushes i mainly use are The Calliflakes brush, Soft square brush, and the regular Turnip pen and Design pencil from Clip studio
Tumblr media
These brushes are like, MY LIFE i love them so much dfjsdbfhbsdb
Anyway, the drawing i'm making is a screenshot redraw of a homestuck panel because i can
Tumblr media
Get homestucked lol
Anyway after the sketch i make the shading plans, they are really important and will basically dictate if the drawing will be good or not
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
always make sure the light direction is the same throughout or else it will look lackluster, think about the character in they're primary forms(head is a square, torso is also a square, nose is a piramid etc.)
Now is the real kicker, plan the reflective light (i can't explain it really well so researching it is a better option)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like to see the light sources with their correct blending modes before drawing to check if the colors look ok
In the end, the objective is to make it so the drawing still holds up without the sketch, if the light makes the pose readable, it's all good to go
Tumblr media
Finally, it's time for the lineart, i made the Calliflakes's brush change in size depending on the tilt, this is great for a dynamic lineart and a crunchy look
I usually use three sizes in the lineart, the main size, a medium size to make more detailed parts, and a smaller one for when i need even smaller details, tho it's good to use it sparingly since it might make the drawing look unbalanced
Tumblr media
Also, i usually don't use black in my drawings, mostly because of the shading process
Tumblr media
Looking good!
Now it's time for the flats! This part is pretty simple, this ios also the part where i paint the lineart, i ONLY paint parts that are INSIDE the silhouette, mostly to make everything blend more and also becuase i like it :)
Tumblr media
What a handsome fellow!
Alright now for the part you came here for, the shading! Alright, remember the shading plan? Use that as a base for the actual shading.
First, since this drawing is in a dark place, i grouped the whole drawing in a folder, then made a multiply layer with the color closest to the original image, then i clipped it to the folder(this is a very common thing here)
Tumblr media
(I didn't shade the eye since it is the main point of focus of the drawing)
Now let's see it with the lighting plan
Tumblr media
nice
Now let's talk soft squares and design pencils
The way i shade with the soft square is that i make it mostly cell shaded, then i come with the same brush but transparent, and i VERY CAREFULLY make circular motions to erase part where i want the shading to make a gradient effect, the key to a good shading job is balancing the sharp shadows with the soft ones
Now with hair, i use the design pencil, i basically just make a bunch of close streaks, almost like painting with a paint brush, after that i make streaks with the same pencil but transparent, making variations in lenght so it looks natural and organic
Tumblr media
Alright time for the first shade pass, this one is for the more general shadows, so it won't look that dynamic
Tumblr media
Now you can see where the shadows are lacking and make the second pass to deepen the shapes
Tumblr media
(P.S: all these layers are the same color, they are in multiply mode)
Alright time for the star of the show! The lights!!!
Using the shading plan i refined the shapes and put it on the add(glow) mode, a good tip i have for this stage is to make shapes shapes shapes! Also remembering that the farther the thing is, the least bright it will be.
Tumblr media
Oh my! That changes the whole vibe!
Now i saw the hair was a little boring looking, so i added an extra layer of airbrush to make it more dynamic
Tumblr media
Actually fuck it, time for some finger tip smudge
Tumblr media
Now we're talking.
Alright, now it's time for the reflected light, make sure it's not too bright unless it looks like a second light source, also this layer is in glow dodge mode!
Tumblr media
We could say it's done as it is...
BUT NOT BEFORE THE COLOR DODGE
Tumblr media
It looks so muck better now! But that's not all!
Now that we have this beautiful boi, it's time for the finishing touches! These make ALL the difference in the drawing
Tumblr media
There we go!
Well now it's my favorite part... the FUCK AROUND AND FIND OUT part!
This is where you add all the textures and special effects! I like mostly using a noise filter (so AI can't steal my stuff) and achromatic aberration, also adding some ashes and a nice metal texture in the background to make it nicer looking
Tumblr media
Now, this is technically finished, but if you want to go the extra mile, you can do some color correction, i like doing it to give more contrast, also to make the piece more balanced, i also added some extra details on the eye and a blur last minute
Tumblr media
And it's done!
As you can see my process is a little all over the place, but that's the fun part of drawing for me! It's always an adventure where you never know how it's going to end!
Anyway hope this helped at least a little!

trying to draw yr meat vinny rn and im wondering if you have any tips for general meat drawing, specifically with the marbling on the hair.
also curious if you have any like. meat laws on how his meat body works bc he’s cool and i like him. meat 🦭
im looking foward to it if you finish it! thank you!
this depends on everyones preferred painting/drawing style, but with meat a good way to tackle it is to have a color pallette based on purple-red-orange hues, with some extras like reddish pinks or orange-browns, it also depends on what exactly you are painting (meat, animal/frozen meat, organs, etc.) but for normal, raw meat the best way to go (for me) is to set a red/dark red base and add colors from there
Tumblr media
another thing i also take advantage of for larger pieces of meat or ones with less overall colors in the shading is using pure black (or the color of your lineart of choice if its a dark one) to put emphasis on the darker areas of it too or other details, and add smaller veiny-like lines with lighter colors
Tumblr media Tumblr media
here with how its hanging from the hook and the area around it has a bit of depth and its a bit stretched from the weight at the lower half, and the lower half also having depth by the bold lines at the bottom and around + slight small lines for texturing, although ultimately at the end of the day this depends on the persons artstyle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
as for the marbling, it doesnt have a particularly sensical nature or order to it, the thing you will notice is that theres always 2 different ways in which it appears and most if not all pieces of meat will have both: big, thick, wide chunks that cover a good area of it, and smaller much thinner lines and spots, almost vein-like
the bigger chunks are more concise and dont have many details, they are usually flat textured, but the smaller ones can have lots of different tiny details and lengths so go crazy with them
Tumblr media
you can also think of it as how some people or productions draw water, (minus the bottom, darker layer) and with also bigger thicker lines for the bigger chunks of marbling
i have a pinterest board with meat references (be mindful of carcasses since theres pictures of butchers there) and my /tagged/meat which also includes some more sensible imagery, nothing new to anyone that has been following me for a while though
as for meatvinny, i havent got any crazy ideas for him, a friend joked around that meat (the worm) is always eating chunks off him but they just regenerate, hence the funny drawing eating one of his arms, i also joked that it would be funny if you could grab and just kinda mold him to funny shapes as if he was a pile of walking minced meat, i can imagine he also probably leaves pools of blood everywhere so hes probably a walking safety hazard as well
hope this helped!
