yknow. i call myself a bi lesbian. And then I make jokes about that cuz I havent dated a girl since '19 and I have two boyfriends (and their relationships which mostly are with other masculine people).

I always forget how much I mean that lesbian bit until I realize Im having actual Feelings about a woman for the first time in four years and all of a sudden my heart is just so much more full of love to give and I have so much more mental energy I can use for my partners.

Its a little freeing really knowing this.

Older women telling you that you have to learn the truth about the world and that you can never have your old life back (Kate Mckinnon's Barbie) despite it being the only thing you yearn for, but also older women being a bright spot and support (the old woman on the bench) in the endless slough of life.
