I know the aesthetic is Clara Bow and silent movies, but to me all the video reminds me of Bride of Frankenstein and Mary Shelley and I can't unsee it. Also I'm so emotional to see Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles cause the Dead Poets Society is so special to me! It would've been amazing if Robin Williams could've been involved too... 😔💔

Fortnight is SO good. It needed more Post Malone but it's such a vibe nevertheless. Also, "I was supposed to be sent away, but they forgot to come and take me" is hell of an opening line. It sets the tone of the album so well.

taylor really put superman in the denial playlist. SUPERMAN. of all songs, it had to be the one i'm most drawn to at the moment. a simple crush song??? among my current faves, i can understand why cruel summer and treacherous are on there, lover also feels like a letdown though. LOVER??? WHEN THE ALBUM FELT LIKE THEIRRR ALBUM??? these playlists are forever gonna change our perspective on her songs, aren't they? 🥴

The "Denial" playlist switched something inside my brain... not in a good way

To be honest, I am still shocked that some of the songs that are in this playlist. If you tell me on October 2022 that Lavender Haze and Lover are the "Denial" of a breaking relationship, I'd tell you to f off.

I think for some of them, it's like almost no-brainer to put into this list. Like Treacherous, "this love is treacherous, but i like it". She saw the red flags, but she still wanted to have him. Or like in Wildest Dreams, "say you'll see me again, even if it's just in your wildest dreams". She knew damn well that he would just leave her forevermore, but even at his wildest dreams, he would still think of her, the one he loved and now tortured.

But some of them are soooooo out-of-the-blue. Take False God as an example. Who in the world would've thought that it is not only a song about s*x and religion, but also containing the first crack of the glass? Or in Glitch, even though she clearly thought that there's a glitch, she just thought that it's just a counterfeit. SOMETHING THAT IS FAKE!

I'm sure that no one will be ready for what this woman has served to us on The Tortured Poets Department.
