Kagehina: Both, for sure! Kageyama is at the perfect height to give Hinata forehead kisses and Hinata kisses Kageyama's forehead because he's baby.

Merthur: Arthur!!! He's just the type, yknow?

2. Gets jealous the most

Kagehina: Hinata. No contest. His jealousy is canon too.

Merthur: Merlin. Again, very canon.

3. Picks the other up from the bar when they're too drunk to drive

Kagehina: Kageyama. I don't think he'd like drinking that much so he rarely ever gets drunk, whereas Hinata seems like the kind of person who loves partying.

Merthur: I can imagine this for both :')

4. Takes care of on sick days

Kagehina: Both both BOTH!!

Merthur: Once again both, but Merlin is better at it.

5. Drags the other person out into the water on beach day

Kagehina: Hinata!! He's a beach boy! And also Kageyama not being able to swim and being scared of water is a cute thought.

Merthur: Arthur! (Not to make any Avalon Lake jokes here heheh). Anyway, Arthur just seems a bit more athletic and outgoing, while Merlin probably wants to chill under a beach umbrella with a nice book.

6. Gives unprompted massages

Kagehina: Both. They're both professional athletes so the chances of their bodies being sore and needing a nice massage are high, and they're both good at it too! :)

Merthur: Merlin, which is probably canon since he's Arthur's manservant and Arthur is a knight sooooo

7. Drives/rides shotgun

Kagehina: Hinata driving is An Important Concept for me, so yes, he's the one who drives and Kageyama rides shotgun trying not let his competence kink get activated (and failing).

Merthur: Arthur drives, and I know he loves it too. Him being rich in most AUs means that I can see him being really into high-end racecars too. Merlin probably never learned how to drive and prefers a bicycle or something instead.

8. Brings the other lunch at work

Kagehina: Neither? Their definition of work is very different lmao

Merthur: Merlin if we're going the canon route xD

9. Has the better parental relationship

Kagehina: Hinata :') We never even see Kageyama's parents and it makes me so curious about his family life.

Merthur: Merlin, of course! Hunith is the best mom <3 and let's not even talk about Arthur's relationship with Uther.

Kagehina: Hinata, but it fails BADLY. I've actually read the most hilarious fic about this.

Merthur: Merlin, and once again, it fails BADLY. If we're talking canon, he probably tries to reverse their roles and Arthur has to play the manservant ;)

Saudade

You and Suguru are childhood friends, you two grew up together in the same village. Your mom and his are very good friends so inevitably you two spend a lot of time together too.

You had a happy childhood, you used to have an older sister but unfortunately she lost her life in an accident that happened many years before you were born. It was very unfortunate but your parents moved on with their life, years later you were born

One day a mysterious person comes to the village, he says that he´s a sorcerer and that those “monsters” that you and suguru can see are curses. This person decides to talk to your parents and suguru's parents to explain the situation and tell them that the best thing for both of you would be to attend Tokyo Jujutsu High.

Your parents don't know what to do, they're afraid that something bad will happen to you, they don't want to lose another child but Suguru promises them that he will take care of you. Your parents still feel anxious but decide to trust him, after all suguru has always been taking care of you, he´s a responsible and trustworthy boy.

Time passes and the day to leave that village in the middle of nowhere arrives, you´re packing your things but can't find the camera that Suguru gave you for Christmas, you remember that you left it in the place where you and suguru go to stargazing.

you go to the place and when you arrive you realize that there´s a girl there holding your camera, her face is familiar and with a warm smile she greets you and returns your camera. You thank her and leave, “she was a very pretty girl” you think, “I wonder what happened to her, those stitches on her forehead looked painful” and with that last thought you and suguru leave the village and head to Tokyo.

- Satoru, kenjaku and tengen know that that you´re not from their world

Epsilon

You´re part of the Zenin clan, you have been blessed with the Ten Shadows Technique and Toji is your big brother. Everyone in the Zenin clan expects a lot from you and that´s very overwhelming, besides you can't stand how everyone in the clan treats your brother. Toji knows that like him, you´re also a victim of your family's excessive expectations so he does everything possible to give you a normal childhood.

And that includes taking you to Shibuya where you can go to cute cafes to eat desserts and where you end up meeting a boy your age with white hair and blue eyes who seems to like desserts as much as you do and with whom you can talk about your new hyperfixation of the moment, digimon.

Things are going well between you and your new friend, until Toji tells you that you shouldn't talk to that kid again, that “kid” is Satoru Gojo the heir of the gojo clan who was blessed with the rikugan. You know better than anyone how complicated the relation between the Gojo clan and Zenin clan is, so with great sadness you decide not to talk to Satoru again.

Satoru understands that you and your brother are in a complicated situation and he doesn´t want to complicate your life further. So he decided to respect your decision not to see each other again. You gave Satoru a keychain of his favorite digimon and a kiss, you promised him that when you two entered Jujutsu High you would look for him.

Three years passed and eventually Toji left the Zenin clan and to the surprise of everyone in the clan, you decided to leave with him. You and Satoru met again a couple years later in Jujutsu High.

- You have no memories of your past life

- Satoru knows there´s something strange with you… and he likes that!. You´re his first friend and he thinks you're something like a "singularity" and that makes him feel that you and him are something like equals.

- Everyone in the zenin clan (except Maki and Mai) hates you and consider you a traitor

- megumi is your nephew, and even though you love your friends in jujutsu high, you miss spending time with him

-you´re allergic to soy

Epiphany

You´re a normal person with a normal family or so it seems. It turns out that you´re a descendant of Michizane Sugawara, Your ritual technique manifested out of nowhere when you were 14 and is so destructive and dangerous that the higher-ups decide to sentence you to death. Yaga feels bad for you, you're just a kid and you don't understand anything of what's going on, so he asks the higher-ups to allow you to attend Jujutsu High. The higher-ups agrees on the condition that Yaga becomes your teacher and keeps an eye on you.

You don't know what to think, you had lived a normal life but when your cursed technique manifested , memories that were not there before came to the surface. None of what happens seems real to you, you miss your parents, your real parents.

The only thing that is clear to you is that you´re now a jjk character. The year 2005 has just begun and you have very little time to think of a plan because otherwise many people will die and many bad things will happen.

- You have your memories and a very strong cursed technique, but very few people trust you

- Having your memories back is a blessing and a curse at the same time, the stress of knowing that many people will die unless you do something it´s awful

- You are very close with Sashisu and Yaga but the rest of the sorcerers consider you a threat.

-you´re allergic to strawberries

okay so after thoughtful consideration i choose (to literally no one’s surprise) saudade <3333 bc let’s be real how could i NOT when it’s a suguru/reader childhood friends au (my favorite jjk trope Ever) AND kenjaku is mentioned ???? kenjaku knows i got isekaid????? i can see the interactions so clearly in my brain……. kenny being fascinated by my existance is honestly enough for me to pick this one but also. sugu loves me :3 sugu is my overprotective childhood friend :333 yeah. the scene you mentioned is also just SOOO interesting…. i’m assuming kenny took over my sister’s body 👀👀 the possible interactions with toru and tengen also get me so excited. there’s just so much intrigue!!!! and tbh i’m not huge on peanuts so i think i could live without them…

in all seriousness, though: thank you so much for asking!! the boyband au has such a special place in my heart, so i am only too happy to tell you a little more about its sequel-of-sorts ❤️

i say "sequel-of-sorts" because it isn't QUITE a sequel in the traditional sense - like the WIP title says, it's a collection of outtakes. this means everything from deleted scenes to bonus/extra scenes that fit in the same timeline as the main fic, some POV switch scenes, and also perhaps a future scene or two.

some of my favourite outtake ideas so far:

a deleted scene where the boys bicker about the description of them as a "British-French boyband"

a bonus scene detailing pierre and charles' first meeting in the X Factor bathrooms

another deleted scene, this time an extended version of the changing room confession scene, ft. galex

a very sad scene that was in the orgininal planning, but never got written/got cut - wherein pierre finds charles crying after a tough show, but charles pushes him away

another bonus scene featuring tour bus shenanigans

an alternate confession scene revolving around the 1D song "i wish" and how charles wrote it for pierre

bonus future scene: pierre and charles' first time 🤭😏 c'mon, i wrote an entire 50k fic with no smut at all. but that's a lot of time worldbuilding, and you can BET i have headcanons for what their first time was like!!

and finally - this one is still quite up in the air, but it's a strong possibility thanks to my beloved @welightitup - a longer spinoff/sequel telling a landoscar story in which lando is essentially niall and oscar is josh devine/the band's drummer 👀🥁

yeahhhh... as you can probably tell, i have a lot of thoughts about this AU. oh my god. SO MANY. i am obsessed with this little world i've created, and as soon as i get my writing mojo back and time/my other WIP commitments allow (so yeah, 2036 🤣😭) i am SO excited to start posting the outtakes <33333

I am asking you about your speculative minecraft biology headcanons 👀

oh yeah babey swag!! since you didn't specify a mob i am going to talk about creepers since i have the most stuff for them and everyone loves creepers. aw man

my guess [and one that i think is pretty agreed upon in minecraft biology headcanons] is that creepers are more akin to sentient plants or fungi than animals! they reproduce asexually by producing spores when they reach maturity, which they spread across a large area by exploding. they specifically seek out threats like players to explode near because if the force of an explosion kills or seriously injures a possible predator, the baby creepers [called creeplets] will have a safer head start

before they're mature and ready to explode creepers aren't as hostile, but they're incredibly territorial and hiss the same way they do before exploding as a threat display. while some creepers are solitary, the majority form packs [or rustles, as they're called] as creeplets with any other creepers whose spores landed and matured close by. typically a rustle of creepers will begin as a fairly large congregation of up to a few dozen juveniles, then gradually decrease in number as members either are killed by outside factors or explode pre-maturity to ensure the safety of its group, until the small handful remaining are ready to reproduce and go their separate ways so as not to accidentally kill each other in the ensuing explosions

incidentally, it may be possible to 'tame' a creeper by raising it from babyhood so that it sees you as a member of its rustle and thus not a threat. it'll still want to explode when it grows up and starts producing spores, though, so you're getting a hole in your backyard either way.

it's a little hard to pin down what a creeper would eat - they live in caves and seem nocturnal so they can't solely photosynthesise, their only actual method of attacking kills them so they'd be poor hunters, and they don't seem to have any teeth to chew plants with. the most likely options i can think of are that they're either insectivores, maybe using their weird shape to more effectively go after subterranean bugs, or scavengers who subsist on carrion and small fruits and the like. or perhaps they absorb nutrients from dead things with some kind of root system? that'd be another good reason for a reproducing creeper to want to kill someone in the process. much to think about!

i've scribbled a diagram of my speculative creeper life cycle but i think it might be trypophobia adjacent, so it's under this here cut to be safe

the most important thing to know about let 3 is that they are a punk band who is doing satire. the entire thing is an anti-war song, against the russian attacks on ukraine.

the lyrics is very pointed against russia, the mama in question is primarily mother russia, and the second verse mama lyublia morona means mother [russia] is kissing the idiot [their leader].

their look is a reference to their idea of transhumanism, i haven't really looked into this. but to me, it almost looks like drag lenin is singing, which could be a point against or to the anti-homosexuality laws of russia.

H: How would you describe your writing style?

i feel like this is very difficult to do i am curious what the people who read what i write would say. i would like to have some options to choose from ajsdhkasjdh but hmmmm let's see i did a uquiz once that said that i write from melancholy and often times i do think there is something a little sad bubbling somewhere underneath my writing maybe the real answer is Healing My Teenage Mental Illnesses and Adult Worries through gay amature literature and the aesthetics

M: What's the weirdest AU scenario you've ever come up with? Did it turn into a story?

depends on what is considered weird i suppose! i come up with random ideas all the time and most of them sadly don't get turned into stories but i suppose maybe my ice cream truck fic is pretty weird? probably the strangest one vibe-wise of ones i've published. the other day i was discussing fic possibilities based on a post i reblogged about whether giving head to a fae person could trap you with them also...

W: What is your favourite pairing to write? Favorite pairing to read?

i mean i think based on my track record the obvious answer is larry but i have written and not posted also some other ones and they all have their charm. one day i am hoping to write a zouis fic! now with reading i am honestly not very picky, although again i feel like since i am most active in the 1d fandom out of all fandoms i am in track record wise it's also probably larry but i do love phan and also zouis and also other fandom fics as well, i mostly like to notice how different the headcanon dynamics are for different pairings in different fandoms, like a typical (genre) fic for one fandom ship has a completely different vibe and contains different tropes and dynamics than for a different ship and i find that so fun
