A few important updates:
Before I write today, I’m probably gonna mess around on my test side blog for like, at least an hour and a half to try to better understand the new editor I’ve used it a couple times before, but not that much. Once I’ve got a basic enough understanding of it, I’ll probably start using it.
I’m honestly not too thrilled about it, but I’ve seen quite of few of my partners switching to it, and because I write a lot, not being able to trim would be a pretty big problem. So much to my dismay, it’s the only natural thing to do. I’ll probably do the same on my other blogs.
Another important thing to also note: After a lot of initial thought, in order for me to legitimately be more consistent, I’ve come to the decision to drop a list of ancient threads, and clear old dusty asks in my inbox. I’ve tried to be more constant, but as people may have noticed, it’s been pretty difficult for me to keep up my usual writing pace as of late, and to fix that, I just need to let some of those old threads go no matter how much I didn’t want to.
I’ll probably type up the list after I look through my drafts, I got like 50+ now and I just gotta ease some of that rp load off my back.
Looking forward, in doing this, I feel pretty confident that I’ll be able to make a proper return to form in my writing pace. But of course, there is always the option of continuing some specific threads from the ones that will be listed, my partners can always let me know once the list is posted. I want to thank everyone for their continued patience with me and my slowness. It’s very much appreciated.

Please bear with me for a little while longer. I'm at the point in my depression cycle where I have writer's block and I can barely get myself up to eat.
As for the move my family is going through, we have made no progress whatsoever. This is very stressful and I am not in the state of mind to write or talk very much.
My sleep schedule is awful and I am tired all of the time.

Gentle reminder that very little fandom labor is automated, because I think people forget that a lot.
That blog with a tagging system you love? A person curates those tags by hand.
That rec blog with a great organization scheme and pretty graphics? Someone designed and implemented that organization scheme and made those graphics.
That network that posts a cool variety of stuff? People track down all that variety and queue it by hand, and other people made all the individual pieces.
That post with umpteen links to helpful resources, and information about them? Someone gathered those links, researched the sources, wrote up the information about them.
That graphic about fandom statistics? Someone compiled those statistics, analyzed them, organized them, figured out a useful way to convey the information to others, and made the post.
That event that you think looks neat? Someone wrote the rules, created the blogs and Discords, designed the graphics, did their best to promo the event so it'd succeed.
None of this was done automatically. None of it just appears whole out of the internet ether.
I think everyone realizes that fic writing and fanart creation are work, and at least some folks have got it through their heads that gif creation and graphics and moodboards take effort, and meta is usually respected for the effort that goes into it, at least as far as I've seen, but I feel like a lot of people don't really get how much labor goes into curation, too.
If people are creating resources, curating content, organizing the creations of others, gathering information, and doing other fandom activities that aren't necessarily the direct action of creation, they're doing a lot of fandom labor, and it's often largely unrecognized.
Celebrate fan work!
To folks doing this kind of labor: I see you, and I thank you. You are the backbones of our fandoms and I love you.
