Sometimes when Elvis and you go to bed, it would be a bit of a challenge when you're little, especially when you're in a talkative mood which tonight's one of those nights.
“Alright, Comfortable?” Elvis asks as he sets your favourite stuffie beside you after making sure things are good for you, you nod “All good!” reaching your arms out from under the blanket, doing grabby hands making him chuckle.
“I'm comin’ I'm comin” he reassures, walking over to his side of the bed and climbing in under the covers, wrapping an arm under you to bring you closer to him earning a small giggle from you. “What's so funny?” tickling your side slightly.
Your small squeals erupt “ ‘m ticklish Daddy!” pushing your fists against his side in a weak attempt to make him stop, he chuckles and moves his hand. “Okay, Okay” Elvis replaces the tickling to rubbing your back and he smiles lovingly as he looks down at your pretty face.
“I love you, y’ know that?”
He hums as you respond by nuzzling your head against his chest. His hand brushes a strand of hair away from your face, being given the sight of that sweet, innocent, child-like spark in your eyes. His eyes soften “My beautiful sweet girl…” lifting both of his hands to cup your face just below the jaw, leaning in to pepper your face with his famous kisses, giving you the last one on your nose..
“Get your beauty sleep, Honey… ” he mumbles tiredly, you nod against his chest and you close your eyes.

“Daddy…” you whisper, earning a deep hum from Elvis. “Me and Jerry had a lot of fun today” he breathes out “Is that so?” with a grin on his face, you smile “Mhm! We…we drew really pretty pictures and- and had a tea party with all my friends and..” Elvis’ grin widens knowing that these friends of yours were the plushies that he would give you whenever he came back from tour.
“And we went out in the garden! I took Hoppie with me too but I dropped her in a muddy puddle” your eyes and voice trailing off before looking up at Elvis “She’s ok though, Jer said that giving her a wash in the washing machine wouldn’t hurt” making him crack another smile.
“Mhm, sounds like you did have fun today” letting a small yawn before bringing his hand up to stroke your hair “You must be tired, baby hm?”saying that in hopes that would get you to snuggle up and fall asleep, your head moves slightly against his chest “mmm, not yet- oh! We picked pretty flowers too! Roses and- and uhm hydran- hydran…”
Letting out another yawn, Elvis rubs his face with his free hand “Hydrangea?” beginning to lightly scratch your scalp “Hydrangea! Yeah so-” a quiet, tired chuckle fills your ears “Honey, let’s go to sleep hm? Daddy had a long day” combing his hand through his hair, Elvis lowers his eyes to your doll ones “But I didn’t tell you about-”
“Ya can tell me tomorrow baby” he says with a southern drawl. Rolling onto his side and bringing you in closer with his almost limb arms because of how tired he is “Goodnight darlin’” making sure to place a peck upon your head.
Sighing softly as his chin rests on top of your head, his eyes fluttering closed “I want milk”
“Oh Honey-”

The Doctor was involved in the Last Great Time War for millions of days. (Novel: The Day of the Doctor)
While on the planet Dust, the Third Doctor was shot in the chest by Magdalena Bishop and left to die in the street. Sarah Jane found Jim and cradled his head as he slowly began to regenerate. He thought this was very, very wrong. This weakened the Doctor's immune system, leading to the Doctor's infection with a biodata virus, which by the time of the Eighth incarnation would convert the Doctor to the perspective of the Faction Paradox. As a result of this virus, the Eighth Doctor had lost his shadow. (Novel: Unnatural History)
A ghost of the original timeline's Third Doctor remained in the TARDIS databank. When the TARDIS was corrupted into the Edifice and the Edifice hung over Gallifrey, the Eighth Doctor used the TARDIS defense systems to destroy Gallifrey and Kasterborous, making the universe choose between the new timeline or the Metebelis timeline the TARDIS remembered. The civil war Morbius was involved in - usually called the Great Schism - involved the Time Lords using time as a weapon for bloodshed for the first time. (Audio: Morbius) This would technically make it a time war.
Early Time Lords destroyed the Hydran homeworld by dropping their own future on top of it. (Audio: Morbius)
By some accounts, the High Council was nervous to engage directly with the universe during this civil war as that was exactly what Morbius had said they should do, so they fought using a proxy- the Fifth Doctor. (Novel: Warmonger)
While the Supreme Coordinator, the Fifth Doctor wore a black military uniform. The Doctor’s army was composed of a mix of Sontarans, Cybermen, Ogrons, Draconians, and Ice Warriors. They defeated Morbius's forces, but the Doctor made sure Morbius would survive his 'death.' (Novel: Warmonger)
The final battle of Morbius's civil war occurred on Karn and resulted in the deaths of most of both armies as well as Karn's native population. (Short story: The Legacy of Gallifrey)
During the Vampire Wars, Gallifrey developed Anathema - a warship the size of an entire planet. It was armed with the Cold, a weapon so devastating it would break through the space-time continuum and suck everything into an alternate universe. (Novel: Interference - Book Two)
After regenerating on Karn, the War Doctor refused to allow his TARDIS to be equipped with weaponry (she would have been block transferred into a battle TARDIS) as he did not want to force her to change as he had. (Audio: Light the Flame)
Cass Fermazzi was present at the Battle of Skull Moon and was so horrified by the massacre that it embittered her to the Time Lords. (Novel: The Day of the Doctor) This hatred ironically led to the Eighth Doctor regenerating into the War Doctor, the precise incarnation who earned the title "the Butcher of Skull Moon."
The Dalek Time Strategist tried to manipulate the Eighth Doctor by finding an alternate universe version of Alex - his dead great grandson - and putting him in cryogenic stasis. The Doctor took the casket he was in and woke him up. (Audio: Restoration of the Daleks)
Bliss had been a companion of the Eighth Doctor, but due to changes in the timeline as a result of the Last Great Time War, this changed, leaving the Doctor and Alex without memory of Bliss. However, the Doctor felt as though someone was missing. They would eventually learn of Bliss from a memory recorder. (Audio: Vespertine)

This ship combat game is based on the board game Star Fleet Battles (which licensed designs from Star Trek but is officially not Star Trek). This game has a lot to it. There are six races: Federation, Klingon, Romulans, Gorn, Lyran and Hydran, each with their own ships and campaign – every faction even has its own unique HUD and menu interface, a lot of effort clearly went into this game.
The same is true with the gameplay itself, there’s an immense amount of depth, so much you can do with how the weapons work, power distribution, using the transporter in offensive ways, having shuttles help you in combat and so much more. For someone who wants to feel like they’re fully managing a ship on their own, this is the kind of game for them. I personally did not enjoy it at all, with everything feeling extremely slow and sluggish, with battles feeling like endurance tests of not getting bored.
It’s not the game’s fault, really. It does what it sets out to do and does it well, it just really isn’t my kind of thing.

Filler post of custom skykid oc redesigns I just did while I think of what to draw.
OC names left to right: Hydran, Folius, Sesil
Bonus Oc facts:
Hydran hunts dark creatures especially those around Treasure Reef with a harpoon and a spear. She also loves to sing and perform in Valley, sometimes even with her best friend, Thallas.
Folius trained Sesil, his successor, to be the coordinator of events and festivals around the Sky kingdom. He and Sesil also both wield blades that can channel seasonal-based light from fire to ice. Why? Because Folius thinks it would be cool and also to deal with any stray dark creature that goes too close to any event avenue. Just in case. lt’s mostly a remnant of a much more treacharous era but he and his successor still practice their swordfighting.
After retirement, Folius simply travels around the Sky kingdom to take in the sights. He especially loves Prairie.
Sesil’s moth antennae aren’t fake. Her glasses are fake though. She just likes how she looks in them. I wouldn’t reccomend tugging her antennae though. You’d be grumpy if she pulled your hair too.
