Nothing like last minute Top Ten Lists but here we are: The Nerdporium’s Top Ten Best New Games of the Year 2022! This year was an absolute avalanche of awesome games after the slow trickle of new stuff coming out these past few plague years. 2022 spoiled us! Very surprised and delighted at the sheer amount of brand new IP this year and the quality. Lots of good games for us busy folks who don’t have a lot of time to sink into a super long campaign (here’s looking at you Vampire Survivors and Powerwash Simulator) that we’re still really addictive. In no particular order: Powerwash Simulator, Vampire Survivors, High on Life, Scorn, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge, Pentiment, Immortality, Tunic, Ghost Song, and (of course) Elden Ring all made our list this year. Runners Up include: Signalis, Deathloop, Infernax, Far: Changing Tides, The Quarry, & Gungrave G.O.R.E. (missed playing all those awesome Gungrave games on PS2 and this one nails it in spades). Started playing high on life this morning and got distracted by some hot girls dancing on the TV, which turned into 2 guys grabbing each other's balls in a fight over one of the hot girls.

Then it was some guy going crazy over his new animatronic Trex.

Now the nice kid from the fight earlier sneaks over to the hot girls room and 2 mean girls who were with the bad boy from the fight saw him and went to get the bad boy.

Idk if I'm gonna play this game much or get distracted by stuff like this a lot.

After some THC however those tables are turned! as I take the last tokes at the doors I look around me. At last, the security guards are finally finishing their shift😍. As they begin to walk away I check them by exclaiming how worried I am about tomorrow’s day at work…”Not our job mate, we’re off the clock” They hurl back as they turn the corner and out of sight. I then walk right through that damned door! I can finally enjoy myself in my own mind to its fullest. Once inside not only can I enjoy my sexuality to its fullest, not only do I learn and expand on what I enjoy but I have a heightened pleasure in my physical form too. The whole experience allows me to be my true self and experience my sexuality in a way those guards never truly allow. Now I know your thinking ‘well those guards are of your construct, to use a plant to remove them seems somewhat weak’. I do not unfortunately choose their influence on a temporary basis. They are with me permanently through life and of course form who I am to a large extent as a person. Their strength denotes the successes of my past. Its nice to have an escape from them though, without the poisoned feeling of a hangover pulsing through my veins.
