इस अवसर पर हेल्प यू एजुकेशनल एंड चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट की न्यासी डॉ० रूपल अग्रवाल ने कहा कि, आज के समय में आत्मरक्षा विशेष रूप से लड़कियों / महिलाओं के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है । छात्राओं को किसी भी अनजान खतरे से निपटने के लिए आत्मरक्षा कला को सीखना जरूरी है। छात्राओं को असामाजिक तत्वों द्वारा शारीरिक हमले के लिए तैयार करने, आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने, मनोबल, आत्म-नियंत्रण और शारीरिक सहनशक्ति को बढ़ावा देना बहुत ही आवश्यक है । लड़कियों / महिलाओं के खिलाफ उत्पीड़न की घटनाओं को तभी रोका जा सकता है जब महिलाएं खुद आत्मरक्षा की तकनीक सीख लें ।

प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती हेमलता ने कहा कि, आज के समय में महिलाओं के प्रति बढ़ती हुई हिंसा व अत्याचार रोकने के लिए महिलाओं को स्वयं अपनी शक्ति पहचाननी होगी। सभी छात्राएं साहसी, निडर और मजबूत बन सकती हैं । आगे उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी चुनौती का सामना करने के लिए शारीरिक सौष्ठव जरूरी है इसलिए सभी को आत्मरक्षा कला का रोज अभ्यास करना चाहिए ।

निःशस्त्र आत्मरक्षा कला प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला के दौरान छात्राओं को ��िना हथियार शरीर के नाजुक अंगों पर प्रहार व खुद पर हो रहे अत्याचार से बचाव के तरीके सिखाए गए । सभी प्रतिभागियों को प्रतिभागिता प्रमाण पत्र से सम्मानित किया गया ।

The short but most enlightening visit to the Symbiosis University at Pune for the opening of their Film Festival and to spend time visiting the various facilities they have set up in the field of Education .. a vast campus spread over almost 400 acres .. and a bit of nostalgia for me .. for I came to the facility when it was just starting, and now to observe the expansion and spread .. simply incredible ..

One wishes such an opportunity had been available to me at the age when we were young .. but ..

However .. the future of the University and the generation that studies there is a revelation .. such pride when progress to this level is observed ..

so choppering in and out ..

the plaque when years ago I had inaugurated their Studios for the study of film and related activities ..

and a few words of response from the student fraternity ..
