Artless Glow Base

Heimish's Artless Glow Base SPF50+/PA+++ is a face primer moisturizer with 3 efficacies [ UV Protection, Brightening, and Anti-Wrinkle ]. All-in-one! Has a shimmery golden pearl glow creating a luminous look. No white cast and safe to use on all skin types. Contains Peppermint extract (brightens and unclogs pores) & Rose Hip Seeds (hydrates and reduces wrinkles).

Little nozzle; back of the box/bottle

Package: Comes in a plastic 40 ml squeeze tube with a twist cap. It has a little nozzle so you're not squeezing too much product out. Simple off white design with a rose gold colored cap (maybe to reflect the ingredient of Rose Hip Seeds?? Or I'm looking too into it and it's just simply a design choice haha). The box comes in a slender case, slightly bigger than the product bottle itself. Shares similiar color scheme and has a shiny reflective cover (I'm also guessing to translate the glitter glow the product gives your skin).

Product: A peachy color paste if you will. A decent amount for a face primer.

Fragrance: It smells quite lovely even though it does have that sunscreen scent, but it has a sweet floral scent mixed in.

Texture: The texture is of a typical suncreen feeling. When you apply it it does dissolves rather quickly into the skin. It does have little glitters but you don't feel it at all. No greasy feeling or any feeling at that.

Price: Personally to me pretty pricey. Though the average pricing point for Korean sunscreen care. But I guess if we are comparing to Western high end sunscreens then maybe a smidge cheaper. When they do go on sale about the price of drugstore brands which I typically purchase then haha.

✎ Overall impression

This is my first all-in-one type of product. I'm a simple person when it comes to makeup. I hate having to have so much extra steps that's why I really appreciate this product having the primer, sunscreen and moisturizer built all into one. So I really can't compare it with anything. But am I committed to it?? For the time being once it's empty (I don't like wasting products unless it's really butchering my face haha). I would love to try other suncreens primers as well. Maybe try to find another all-in-one and do a comparison review.

One confident thing I can say about it is it does help my face look less dull. The glitter makes me look luminous with my Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream. It does moisturize my dry skin to an extent, I haven't seen any flaking though personally it doesn't moisturize enough. You know that feeling when you use products and you just want to feel clean or hydrated; I wish I could work with the primer more. It dissolves too quickly when I'm spreading it and I feel I' m not getting enough coverage. I really don't want to put more than I have to (forehead, cheeks, chin, nose if I'm feeling extra). Knowing my track record it's going to break me out more.

Which I do admit it has (comes with my face territory) though it's minor. It could be other things as well, but since I only use it twice out of the week it's whatever at this point. Overall I think it's decent. Is it for my skin? For the time being. I'm sure they're much better sunscreens for my skin type (dry, sensitive) and I feel this would work better for those who have the opposite of my skin haha. Though it's worth trying out because it is one of the popular ones. I always see it on top lists and such. It's not bad, but I don't think it's completely for me.

I thought this moisturizer would smell (at least) something like watermelon 🍉 but no it smells pretty much nothing😅 @heimish_cosmetic Watermelon Moisture Soothing Gel Cream is formulated with 10% watermelon extract, fermented moringa seed oil, moringa ceramides, and more. Has a tiny bit of sorbet-like (if you’ve used a sorbet moisturizer you'll know) texture but not overly like that. It's a 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗸𝘆 & 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗹 in pinkish color. Sinks in fast, soothing in touch & keeps the skin nourished for a long-long time. It doesn’t give a mattifying effect but that plump skin. Perfect for combination (which is mine) to oily and sensitive skin types. Not many days since I started with this #heimish Watermelon moisturizer. So far liking it.
