I decided to try Monk Fruit in the Raw Zero Calorie Sweetener in my evening tea. Upon opening the bag, the first thing I noticed was the texture. It has the same texture as granulated cane sugar. There's no aftertaste. It dissolves the same as granulated sugar. In tea, it tastes like sugar but a lot sweeter. I should've added half the amount. It's similar with fruit. It tastes like sugar except sweeter as if you used a lot of sugar. I haven't tried baking with it yet. My instincts tell me to cut the amount. I can always add more if it really needs it. However, once you over sweeten something, it's a more complicated process to correct it.
