The Skyline GT-R, which debuted at the JAF-GP in the spring of 1969, went on to win consecutive races, and in 1971, when the hardtop version (KPGC10) was introduced, its strength increased, giving no chance to the new Mazda Rotary team. Then, in March 1972, at Fuji in heavy rain, this No. 15, driven by Kunimitsu Takahashi, lapped the 2nd place and below and won an easy victory, giving the GT-R its 50th victory in total. This was an amazing record at the time.

HAKO? The twins' picnic alts have always felt really appealing to me for some reason.
OHH this is the artist that drew Marianne too!
Hako is another artist who went through a visible improvement like kaya8 and Yamada Kotaro. The improvement wasn't as large but that's also because I think Hako had very solid skills to begin with.
Seriously, look at Elise:
Look at how soft and pretty that is, there's not much that could be noticeably improved. I mean no disrespect to Mikuro but Hako was Elise's best artist. They're so good at color and there's not really anything off or wrong anatomy-wise.
And you have a good reason for finding the twins' picnic alts appealing because:
Come on, that Felicia pose is dang cute and completely in character. Hako knows their characters well. Felicia is clumsy while Flora is skilled with her knife. And their outfit design is really good, as seen here with fitting clothing and also Shanna's lovely wedding dress. I'd actually say the twins' outfits look better fitted for picnic/camping (save for the boots lol) than Lukas, Lukas looks almost too formal.
Honestly, in terms of critique there's really only minor nitpicks. Sometimes their posing is hit or miss. Flora and Felicia up there are perfect, but in their initial units it's... not very strong. However I've noticed that if they have a character wearing anything long or flowy, it kind of makes up for it. Still wish their posing quality could be on a more consistent level though. Additionally, their critical artwork could use just a teeeeensy bit more work in terms of effects. It's not very strong or flashy sometimes.
And finally, for some reason, characters with dark blue eyes tend to look kinda... soulless.

I think it's a reflection issue more than anything. Because you look at characters like Elise, Flora, and Felicia and they have either more eye reflections or it's positioned better.
And finally, I would like to see them draw some more men sometime too. I think Pelleas looks good in their style (besides the eyes), so I'd like to see them take a shot at someone like Ewan, Leon (or Yuri), Ashe, or even Alm.
Great artist though, a solid 8/10.

I didn’t get the money shot of them actually kissing- just pretend it happens. (After Hako snaps the goggle strap and laughs their ass off that Achilles is a gullible fuck “Hahaha, you should have seen the look on your face! What were you hoping for, dingus?!” and he gets really salty and throws them head-first into the water and cracks an inappropriate The Ring joke “That’s what you get for being a tease! Now lookit you! You’re like that horror movie girl- crap what’s her name-” “It’s Sadako and I’m gonna KILL YOU!” and they proceed to argue and splash-fight for several minutes until the kiss actually happens, but the context is terrible because he only does it to get the upper hand. So they argue more and the next thing he knows Hako’s got him by the collar and drags him in for another- you get the idea)
What I really wanted to do was write something to commemorate the moment but a combination of super crunch and the last event getting me much more bond than expected dropkicked what free time I had left lol. Still, I’m happy I got something together and I’m glad I learned a lot working on this :) And that’s water and skies are not my forte and I never wanna draw again LOL jk jk I finally got to break in some of the basic procreate brushes I haven’t used in almost a year which was a good way to start thinking outside the box. I think with the last few drawings I’ve made I’m settling more on a coloring process but especially an inking process. I finally found a pen I like. For now. orz
Putting together a series of wips each week as I made more progress was a lot of fun too. I hope to keep up the habit as I work on larger projects. The 20 hour mark seems to be my limit right now, but hopefully I can build up more endurance and an eye for detail to make some longer lasting pieces. Or just work more efficiently because GOD KNOWS how many times I redid the background, and the subjects, and the everything else.
