my toxic trait is because oathbringer happens soon after the new year i am incapable of not going "oh oathbringer takes place in january" in my head even though it's not earth. and more egregious than that is my brain going "oh oathbringer takes place in minnesota january. it's snowy." like i don't think anywhere in the books they mention its winter when they go to kholinar but i have this visceral image of elhokar bleeding to death in the snow while kaladin watches in horror
