Your eyes remained fixated on the scene bestowed upon you; Vilheilm de Haspran, the heir of Svart, standing beside a woman with his arms around her waist. His eyes sparkled like how it did whenever he listened to your stories, his posture remained formal but it was still relaxed; he's never been like this to anyone from the royal family, nor has he been with other people except you. It was as if time stopped but in reality, you were just frozen in place while you tried to process what was happening and without you fullu functioning, you walked away from them, slow walking turning into jogging to running. The sounds of your shoes tapping echoed through the elegant halls as you desperately run away, closing your eyes to try and erase the memory of it when suddenly, your face hits a soft surface and you come to a halt as you slowly lean towards it, losing balance. You gasp and open your eyes quickly to look up at him as he smiles down at you; "I expected everything but to bump into an angel from the heavens itslef. Are you alright?"

He was an overly energetic prince that constantly caused trouble so you were fully aware that by being in a relationship with him, there would be many instances of misunderstandings and hindrances but this time, he's gone too far. Due to his good looks and the skill for managing a whole nation despite his young age, many ladies have always took a liking to him and that meant that there will be many women that'd invite him for an arrange marriage despite already being in a relationship. He'd usually decline everything, keeping you in his mind but this time, a particularly stubborn lady had come. She'd already come many times before, trying to have Marius' hand in marriage but seeing how he's unsuccessful, she's turned to the tactic of seduction. She came to balls that he hosted with revealing clothing, improper for a lady of her standing, yet she never cared. You and Marius sat and hung inside one of the private common rooms of the palace, his arm around your shoulders as you sat on a couch, staring at the stars outside when you excused yourself for a moment, smiling to yourself as you went to grab the present you prepared for him. You caught sight of a woman by the corner of your eye but you brushed it off and continued walking to your shared room, fairly far, with a spring to your step. Unknowingly for you, the woman you saw was Marius' stubborn admirer. She opens the door with you out of sight and she sighs and smiles for a moment, the moonlight, shades her figure instead of shining on her as if the stars and the moon above knew of her plan.

"Oh, were you waiting for me? Have you gone through a change of heart, your highness?" She speak speaks in a low voice, forcing her voice to sound 'attractive'. Marius whips his head around to see the persistent woman, he sighs and he spoke in an uninterested manner. "My lady, with all due respect, I wish for myself to stay calm and collected when speaking with a woman so please, just simply take 'no' as an answer." He stands up and turns to the woman, staying a safe distance away. "I'm afraid that's impossible." she slowly walks towards him. "You're simply restraining yourself because of that witch" Marius furrows his brows at the woman's words. "Have you no shame?! How dare you speak so unpleasantly of the prince's lover?" His voice rose slightly and he stared down at the woman that stood right in front of him. "You no longer have you restrain yourself, darling. That...lover of yours will soon be gone."

You however, were walking back to the room Marius was in with a small box in hand. A bright smile was etched on your face as you thought of how this jewelry will fit him perfectly. You reached out to turn the door knob when suddenly, a hand rest on your waist, gently pushing you out the way as an arrow passes by you, leaving only a few inches away from your face. You flinch and turn around but you saw your most talented knight and closest friend, shielding you. "It's alright. They're gone now." You whisper a quick thank you as you open the door and the box in yiur hand falls to the floor as your eyes glued to the view before you. The woman quickly pushed herself to him, her hands on his face as thier faces collided and so did their lips. You were frozen in place, not by the freezing air of the night but by the pure betrayal. Marius pushes the woman away and catches sight of your bewildered face standing by the door. He reached out but you quickly turned by your heel and walked away, leaving your gift for him and Marius himself. He pushes the woman away and knelt down to grab the box you left, and as he opens it, there sat a necklace with a purple gem on the middle of it. He stands back up to run after you but your most trusted knight stops him. "Forcing it won't do you any good." Those were the only words he said before walking after you, leaving a hurt Marius behind.

sending this well after you've probably gone to bed HOWEVER i am always ready to report for louis/armand/lestat duty so HERE GOES:

Every time they get in a petty fight, someone rearranges the vinyl collection at Trinity Gate. Louis organizes alphabetically by artist, Armand organizes by genre, and Lestat organizes chronologically. The music room is a goddamn war zone.

When Lestat is an Extra Extra Good Boy (or just in need of some tlc in general) Louis and Armand make the best mani-pedi team. Louis takes a foot and Armand takes a hand, then they switch for the opposite side.

Somehow Armand gets ahold of the tattered old TVL band shirt that Louis used to sleep in. He lounges around the house in it and has both Lestat and Louis drooling in SECONDS (bonus smut points if Louis and Lestat both take turns fucking him in it)

Also this is just Louis/Armand but listen i've been thinking a lot lately of how strong Armand is!!! Like I know the fun thing about his character is that he's got the craziest mental tenacity for someone trapped in a small/young body, but I do think people sleep on how physically strong he is as well. Anyway, all I'm saying is: I want to see him hoist Louis up against a wall and fuck him <3 I want Louis to get overpowered and dicked down by someone half a foot shorter than him LOL it would be good for him!!!!!!

NO BUT THIS IS SO SWEET!!! not to get too serious but for canon fic i think about court era!lestat a lot and like how he comes right out and says to marius "you don't want a prince in me, you want a figurehead, you would be the ruler here" and really just all the times he sounds so Tired & Done™️ in general with everything. lestat getting some TLC from his consort and madame de pompadour on the regular is harm reduction at its finest lbr. i wanna see armand and louis giving him a perfumed bath a la QotD but without the trauma (and like in Air Catcher too now that i've triggered the memory, i love your brain so much DO YOU KNOW HOW OFTEN I REREAD THAT FIC 🥹)

OH MY GOD STOP PLEASE!!! i wanna know like was armand intentional about wearing louis's lestat shirt? in his mind, is this The Next Logical Step in their threesome relationship? was he expecting a reaction or was he just looking to self-soothe and instead of going for one of louis's baggy sweaters that would hit the thigh on armand, he just grabbed the shirt? regardless, i hope they dped him 🫶🏼 (i totally need this to happen both in canon verse and in teen au future verse)

・he watches you closely, and tries to focus but he just cantttt

・your teammates are confused why hes being warmer to you than everyone else after the mission

・after setting up his traps and all he tries to find a spot to camp nearby you so that he can see and watch how good you actually are in the face of danger, while also looking out for enemies, of course

・your talent catches maxim off guard.. and he cant help but gawk slightly

・no one can see because of his hood and mask, but his mouth is so slightly ajar watching you in action

・hes not used to having crushes, or even having much interest in others at all! so this is different and he isnt sure how to feel or act towards you

・tries to show off subtly, which only his close comrades pick up on, no doubt he will be teased for that later by glaz and tachanka

・they especially start to pick up on his crush after the mission when maxim hesitantly approaches you and strikes up a conversation, which is fairly unlike him

・cant keep his eyes off of you, and when your other teammates call on him you can hear the slight stutter in his voice

・he also keeps trying to find an opportunity to talk to you, he wants to ask about your gadget, as it strikes his curiosity, and just get to know you in general

・after getting a nasty kill he glances over to you to see if you noticed it, only to realise you were currently holding the upper hand in a 1v2

・he’s whipped for you without even realising, which his gsg9 mates pick up on, smirking to each other

・at the end of the final round of you guys’ training session, blitz comes up to you and recommends that you go speak to marius, explaining that hes a bit shy to go talk to you

・you strike a convo with him and boom, once he realises youre not actually that scary on the inside, all he does is talk to you and tell you about all the shows hes watched, what random fact he found out two days ago, what he had for breakfast, everything! and you just have to try your best to keep up

vigil

・chul-kyung takes a liking to you, but no one need to know that in his opinion

・honestly you kinda scare him a bit, but nothing in the world could ever get this information out of him, also he finds you hot tho, definitely

・he studies you very intently, tryna figure out what your whole thing is

・notices that you’re in a 1v3 and dashes to the enemies from behind, only to notice that youd killed them all by the time he had gotten there. this guy was gobsmacked, youd stolen his spotlight as the “cool edgy talented one”😭

・he keeps a close eye on you for the rest of the mission, and was pretty shocked to see you in action, he wasnt sure if he should stay in his position or join in your fight in order to help defend

・and its the same for vigil as it is as echo, where his teammates are very very surprised to see his usual cold persona shift to a softer one for you

・over time you two work together more, and are by far one of the most badass and scary duos at rainbow

・sometimes he just sits back and lets you handle some very intense scenarios, which worries you guys’ teammates, but he knows you can handle it

Fun.” Such a perfect summary of their friendship. They were equals. Riccardo would’ve gone to hell and back (and he did) for Amadeo, but they were equals from the start.

I also loved how you noted that despite Ricardo’s efforts, Amadeo would never truly be satisfied, how the blood had made it impossible for him to ever feel like he got what he wanted. 10/10 absolute perfection xoxo DA ❤️

Amadeo is SUCH a brat haha But it really sets up his future exploits with Daniel, how when he lets his guard down he can be just as bossy and demanding (and can handle catching hell right back from his partner too)

I just love this brief period of his life and getting to have someone show him a good time with no ulterior motive. Like he can be normal with Riccardo! They can banter and one up each other and then really enjoy the things they're doing because Riccardo is his equal, he doesn't want anything beyond having fun in the moment. And I think Amadeo needed that even if it didn't fulfill him in the end.

And not even because Riccardo couldn't satisfy him. Just that unacknowledged trauma, constantly having the goal posts shifted with Marius- it's a void in him time never seems to heal.

And now I really can't stop thinking about how similar Riccardo and Daniel could be (and the notes they could compare on Armand lol). I just really want to do more with this guy.

But those were with careful fingers. This is with a cold metal instrument. — [note: i wrote this during the rrg2 event so this explains my a/n following this note] i'm a sucker for good voices so here's me expanding on my thoughts on the tot mls' voices (especially since i had to change artem's language setting from japanese (due to the current covid situation in japan, some of his lines from the rrg2 event are not recorded in time. in addition, his va [suwabe junichi] was confirmed to have gotten covid) to korean) and man, hearing 당신 instead of 君(は) is really quite a change :")

— artem wing

simplified chinese: tbh my personal favourite out of his 4 voices HAHAHAH also pls idk why i keep thinking of that one scene he sang chinese opera music HAHAHAHAH. the register is somewhere in the middle which was just right (perfectly balanced, as it should be). sounds a bit calm when he argues with mc in 'atmospherics' (like DUDE JUST GET MAD it sounds like i'm listening to an android omg) but he got a little condescending at the end so he still passes the vibe check!

traditional chinese: a little bit deeper than the scn dub but it's still pretty good nonetheless! very comforting, 10/10 would want to hear this kind of voice to cheer me up on a bad day.

japanese: someone said his japanese dub sounds like an old man and i cannot unhear it ever since 😭 whoever spoiled artem's japanese dub for me... i hope you won't draw an ssr anytime soon. n e ways yes i feel like the japanese dub is well-suited for the "superior at work" setting and also ticks the checkbox of "shy virgin at relationships falls in love". also has a very comforting vibe! definitely sounded annoyed(?) and mad when he argued with mc in 'atmospherics' and his va did a good job!

korean: his korean dub gives me highkey polite sunbae vibes (and i wonder why...) and the very shy but still concerned guy who would give the fl his jacket because it's too cold (100% gentleman vibes tbh). ALSO gives me borderline jumin vibes???? maybe it's just me HAHAHAHA. sounds a little too calm when he argues with mc in 'atmospherics' and kinda embodies 'the calm before the storm' vibe (but the thing is: the storm never comes).

simplified chinese: the gentleman element in his character shines the best in his scn dub!! nails the whole royalty vibe very well imo! also very asmr-able, and would be the best morning voice to wake up to omg. it's also comforting in a way that how a dad would walk his child through what the kid's done wrong and why it's wrong, and explain why the kid should apologise first.

traditional chinese: a little nasal and higher pitched than expected, which in my book doesn't tally with his overall persona, so his tcn dub is not really a favourite of mine. his va still did a good job though!

japanese: whoever casted his japanese va... you're doing god's work. very well paired and i approve 👍 his japanese dub is also comforting but in a different way from artem's (i have zero idea how to explain this properly and hopefully you get the gist of it AAA) and suits the whole psychiatrist vibe.

korean: it's a little deeper than i'd expected and if you could combine voices, he sounds like jumin and zen put together. very calming and would oddly make for a good kidnapper voice (HEAR ME OUT FIRST: yk how in kidnapping scenes, the victim is blindfolded and the kidnapper is talking really calmly about the possible things he could do to the victim? YEAH THAT) and also gives me boyfriend vibes (idk it's especially so in his 'a star in the night' ssr).

simplified chinese: v cheerful and matches his sunny disposition very well! also a very asmr-able voice HAHAHAHA (flashback to the sotn pv). angry luke in scn sounds so exasperated LMAO his vibe is like "i've been gone for 8 years and i can't believe you don't tell me things that i've missed during those years"

traditional chinese: has that bright undertone like his scn dub. angry luke in tcn sounds very worried which was fitting for the context of his personal story ig???

japanese: he exudes this unexplainable confidence in the japanese dub! also i am scared of angry luke in japanese the most. i wld most likely start yelling back at japanese dub luke tbh, even if he yells tatakae at me. angry japanese luke is the most intimidating out of the other dubs, would not recommend to piss off.

korean: his korean dub gives me soft boy vibes?? yk how some male leads in krdramas speak very gently to a girl they like? yeah that. also angry luke in korean sounds like the very concerned oppa you see in kdramas when the fl nearly gets into trouble but the ml manages to save her.

simplified chinese: SOMEONE CALL THE HORNY DEPARTMENT BC HIS SCN DUB MAKES ME WANNA DRENCH MYSELF IN A BATHTUB OF HOLY WATER (especially his 2021 halloween mr HOLY SHIT i swear his scn dub va knows what he's doing). very sexc for no reason (other than quenching the insatiable horny jiejie thirst of the marius stans) and also has those childish and confident elements you'd expect from reading his dialogue.

traditional chinese: similar to scn but it's higher pitched. still pretty good, no complaints here!

japanese: since i'm a japanese dub user, i'm very used to hearing the japanese dub, but i think it fits his character very well! his va nailed the childishness and confidence you'd expect from reading his dialogues.

korean: he gives me yoosung vibes in the korean dub and idk why???? he sounds like the very respectful dongsaeng who would listen to you and also remind you he's always got your back??? the childishness element is not very strong in his korean dub which kinda tones down his whole persona imo

artem ⚖️

- constantly gives lectures about not working when sick, works when sick himself

- somehow manages to stay fairly healthy, despite his incredibly unhealthy lifestyle

- but he's still pretty dumb when he does get sick

- he's probably gone to court before with a high grade fever

- celestine watches like a disappointed mother, and sends him straight home because lord knows he won't rest otherwise

- when he's sick, it usually settles in his chest, doesn't really sneeze that often. if he does, it's one and it's done

- except for the fact that he's allergic to perfume. like, one sniff and he's set off for the next few hours

- celestine came in with a new perfume one day and artem was in his office forever, barely getting anything done because he kept sneezing instead of working

- he's got the dad sneeze. softer than the typical dad sneeze, but still a dad sneeze ("hhUUu'sHHRsh!")

- he usually muffles with his arm, he's polite. but everyone in a 5 mile radius immediately knows who that sound came from

- yes, he is very embarrassed about this fact and therefore tries to avoid sneezing whenever possible

luke 🔍

- we already know he's sick and dying, but that doesn't mean he's at all open about any minor illnesses

- he'd rather end up in the hospital and die early than have anyone worry about him in the present

- he's pretty susceptible to a lot of bugs that go around, like 9/10 times if someone coughs on him he's down for the count the next day

- it's a good thing he works for himself!! no one can send him home!!!

- except mc. she sends him home.

- he gets REALLY bad fevers and aches. moving feels like hell, but he pushes through it regardless

- like artem, doesn't sneeze very often when he's sick. usually just quiet one-offs or some fits if it's a headcold

- ironically because of his career as a detective, he's VERY allergic to dust

- this has led to some rather interesting commissions and investigations, especially during stealth missions

- yes, he has had to go through swh scenarios

- because of this, he's used to stifling whether alone or not. it makes a lot of people confused because he's luke?? he's supposed to be loud??? ("hh'gnxt!")

- he honestly forgot how to sneeze normally. he can stifle hands-free, the madman

- also he has fits of like, anywhere from 2-8. it's like rolling a dice

- he's a doctor. not a physician doctor, but he still follows the trope of "doctors never get sick"

- probably because he isolates at any possible sign that he's getting sick and gets better in like 2 days. it's scary.

- though in the comfort and safety of his own home he practically sneezes up a storm, he's got nothing to hide with nobody there.

- he's very dignified, even when sneezing. it's so soft and quiet, it almost sounds fake ("hhih'tchh!")

- always in fits of 3. always.

- no one has ever seen him less than in perfect health, so imagining him in any unsophisticated state is practically unheard of.

- rumor has it, only one miss lawyer has ever managed to see him in such a sorry state...~

- he's mostly free of the confines of allergies, which is good because he has a garden he actively cares for

- except for daises. keep those away from him. trust me.

(mari's my bias so I'm so sorry if he ends up with more hcs than the others 🙏)

- "I'm marius von hagen! I never get sick, I'm practically invincible!!!"

- technically he's right, no kind of bug or cold going around gets to him. it's the weather that does him in instead.

- he's gotten stuck in the rain and fallen ill within hours, more times than he'd care to say

- even if he doesn't get sick from the cold, he's really sensitive to it regardless. it's not uncommon for him to sneeze when it's cold out

- he used to be more whiny about it, to whoever was designated his caretaker at the time. his brother, usually. nowadays though, since he's the ceo of the biggest company in the world, he doesn't really have time to stop and rest.

- he doesn't really care how other people see him, so if he ends up sneezing or coughing during a meeting, he'll just excuse himself and keep going

- at the end of the day though, he's dead on his feet and sleeps like a rock

- he has breathy sneezes, usually just one and done. sometimes two in a row. ("hhuH'Sshiu!")

- he doesn't cover unless it's a business meeting, which earns him many "marius. von. hagen."s

- he doesn't give a shit around nxx, which irks literally everyone in the room
