L’Autobiografia grafica di Italo Lupi è un libro complesso sul lavoro di questo protagonista della grafica, dell’immagine e del design che, nel corso della sua carriera, ha collaborato con alcuni dei più grandi nomi fra editoria, moda, design, architettura.
Il progetto editoriale, curato da Italo Lupi, non ha un assetto tradizionale ma copre il lavoro di più 40 anni attraverso immagini, commenti, citazioni o articoli pubblicati su riviste per le quali Lupi ha collaborato.
Autobiografia grafica è stato selezionato nell'ADI DESIGN INDEX nel 2014 e ha ricevuto una Menzione d'Onore al premio Compasso d'Oro nel 2016.
È stato consulente di immagine de La Rinascente, di IBM italia, della Triennale di Milano, poi art director di Domus e direttore responsabile e art director di Abitare dal 1992 al 2007. Autobiografia Grafica è un volume completo che affronta la produzione di Italo Lupi a tutto tondo, dall’editoria, alle piccole architetture, passando per il disegno urbano e soprattutto per gli allestimenti temporanei o museali e con un tributo di riconoscenza e affetto ai maestri che lo hanno ispirato nel corso della sua carriera.

BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA IN VINTAGE GRUPPO GFT
Almost missed this one during my July 2012 fashion roundup! Lady Gaga tweeted above capture of herself, asking: “Relishing in my new vintage Guinness mommy, can I sleep in it?”.
This stunning vintage treasure sequinned in whorls with a leopard spot motif in cream, gilt and copper is one of the garments Gaga purchased at Daphne Guinness Auction benefiting the Isabella Blow Foundation.
Who’s the designer is unknown. The only additional detail I can share with you is the coat was crafted by Gruppo GFT, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of designer clothing, that was working for some of Europe’s leading fashion designers including Valentino, Ungaro, Montana and Armani, among others.

A scarce and important summary of the influential 1930s menswear magazine Apparel Arts. The first volume looks at clothes, while the second volume puts fashion into the context of 1930s society, culture and politics. The third contains a reprint of the Summer 1934 issue of the magazine. Menswear writer G. Bruce Boyer writes an introduction on how men's apparel evolved from 1925-1970s. According to Boyer, the Italian apparel company, Gruppo GFT commissioned the set privately for gifts to clients and the fashion press.

C.P. company announces Lorenzo Osti as its new president

Lorenzo Osti has been appointed as President of Italian sportswear company C.P. Company, effective immediately. He will be reporting to CEO Peter Wang.
Lorenzo Osti is the son of Massimo Osti, who founded the company as Chester Perry in 1971. The business changed its name to C.P. Company seven years later due to a lawsuit from English brands Chester Perry and Fred Perry.
“I am honored to be taking president role at C.P. Company, a brand that I’m deeply linked to, since my early age, bu that has been away from my family for a long time”, said Lorenzo Osti in a statement. His father sold his company shares to Gruppo Finanziario Tessile (GFT) in 1984, but remained in the company in the role of Creative Director until 1994. In 2010 C.P. Company was acquired by FGF Industry S.p.A.
