Nige’ía The child who looked up.
Ía xaexiš, á iyár au’ngix gi’qehal, o’ni’ehiš ía. There was a child, this was before there were legends or memories, but there was still a child.
Setatanáyingex gatšinadáweeš. They wore a long scarf to blow in the wind.
Ía šiingex gagegéniš a’ganomauniš yax aná ni’šali. The child and the scarf played and danced as children still do. Airi xayaxaq yax at’el, o’ke’el, nkawatat’ii. Many things were the same now as then, except one thing, the wall.
Ndanákendá trangaš gee gataniil. A high terrible wall stretching towards the sky.
Kendá u’ehel yuuni na’kopapatlesiq, to’kogatatehanutš’i, o’litš’ígotl.  Giixaní yunt’ qa’gatšiq ušiitrox au’el geeš. It had existed so long no one knew how it had been built.  that did not bother them.  Why wonder when the mountains began or why the sky was high.  Ae heeheq nkawatat’ii ehel yax. Like these things were so the wall was. Atli yátakli a’as’qekli eli, lisure qašali qeyi perutaš. The people worked as farmers, and launderers, doing their duties with their heads bowed.
Ía nkawá ganigeeš araš. Only the child looked up at the wall.
Laagissiitšoi’ tšitiiš, They approached a fruit vender,
“Nkawatat’ii ehaní?” ”Why is there a wall?”
“Ae’ suuš qahašrol.” ”To keep the bad things out.
“Ae’ suuš eep?” ”What bad things?”
“Ae’ suuš, nkawá ná’gašalaní. Gakotsin au’njarire”  Siitšoi tšiwek gajyútiroiš. ”Bad things, that is why we have a wall.  Do not go beyond it or you shall die.”  The vender picked up his cart and moved away.
Ía ni’ganigeeš Still the child looked up at the wall.
“Nkawatat’ii ehaní?” “Why is there a wall?”
At’ šía tšihakšeeš šaiwiš. She asked a woman suckling her child.
“Šánkošol” “To protect us.”
“Šáápnkošušul?” “Protect us from what?”
“Ae suuš. Nkawá ná’gašalaní.  Gakotsin au’njarire.”  Šía tšigautiroiš ”Bad things.  That is why we have a wall.  Don't go beyond it or you shall die.”  The woman took her child and left.
Ía wat’ gategiš, ge’ganisiniš, tšiseengex atssel. The child climbed a tree, peeking out the top, their scarf streaming behind them.
“Nkawatat’ii ehaní?” Anáía peráwadá gatláíš šaiwiš. “Why is there a wall?” They asked another child sleeping in the crook of a branch.
“Nkawá ap?” “What wall?”
Ía dá nkawá gagataniiš The child thrust their finger at the wall.
“Nkawatat’ii kehel.” aná ariš alaš, “gee aprayakel angaš.” “That is not a wall,” The other said drowsily, “that is just the way the sky is over there.”
“Nkawá ehel, yunnkawá.” “It is a wall, a huge wall.”
“Njex garaexelpal.  Gakotsin au’njarit’e.” “It must be there for a reason.  Don't go beyond it or you’ll probably die.
Ááre’oix tšikopeperexel nige’ía. These answers did not satisfy the child who looked up.
Šatsáxe anghudui to’ganjitrois gale utiij e šašatlii u’atli, kendá a’gatiiš a’kogatšgal, ra’ o’amo’xural nkawá’tšut’ amo’gedál. So one night, they snuck from their home with a bundle of supplies while the others slept, and walked to the wall, and it was not dangerous, but the area was always dark in the shadow of the wall.
Nar šiingex gnomal nkawá u’gatšikiiš, rekisi’iš anetšaš gatanil gee getšeegel. The wind played with their scarf as the child stood before the wall, running as far as they could see in either direction, and it seemed to reach the sky.
Nkawá gejijuš.  Dagsinii qalal, pipira, a’qesi’ii, a’rohungátšyágošáátli. They climbed the wall.  There were outcroppings on the wall, ledges, and spikes, and gruesome statues.
Ejijuš u’umutúwi.  U’xutl tš’ihaxáálij tšiseengex gasi’gajišairiš. The climb took days, at night the child would tie themselves a hammock out of their scarf.
Šasatsáxe tániš ná’gee’iixix.  U’tsa’tiš engxaš gagpiriš apmetšíriš, o’ni’íaiš aiwii a’tšijigotoq qa’laa pit’ii. Their village was small from this height.  As they neared the top they began to fear what they would find on the other side.  But they were young, and questions bothered more than fear.
Tsa wikganyuriiš, anára a’giits’iiš. Orhára. So it was that they finally struggled to the top, and could see the other side.  The hidden side. Ía tšidji qiiš, rósunnkawá qaxetenxex tšitadji. The child saw steps.  The far side of the wall was crisscrossed with steps leading down.
Qakaniiš jitšyaš, The child stared at them for a long time,
yaungošáátlišasunnkawá a’at’qagutšiš, qesi’ii, amantlatalaní.  Nkawá suušá gorhel, pirgá. and suddenly the ugly statues on their side of the wall started to make sense, the spears, the way it cast everything into shadow.  The wall did hide something evil, something frightening.

Dippica Week 2017 Day 1
Authors Note: This AU is a personal AU that I sort of made up for last years Dippica week. It’s similar to Miraculous Ladybug. I’ll write some headcanons and notes later. Sorry for any grammar or spelling errors I’m not perfect. Also I’m sorry if it’s not any good. Feedback is appreciated, positive and negative. If you are going to leave negative feedback then don’t be a dick. Also sorry if it’s not really good pairing fanfiction I’m still new to this.
“Schmebulock” a gnome says as he looks upon a crowd of similar looking gnomes, all their eyes turn white. The gnomes form together into a colossal pinkish gnome as a blue flame engulfs the amalgamated creature. The blue flame subsided and the enormous creature began to upchuck, its vomit forming an armour around it. “SCHMEBULOCK!” it roared.
“So Mabel’s not coming back is she Dipper?” Pacifica asked looking at her phone. She already knew the answer she was just tired of the silence.
“Probably not. It’s totally a coincidence that Candy and Grenda were here when they were supposed to be elsewhere isn’t it?” Dipper rolled his eyes. He knew his sister, he knew she wanted him to get with Pacifica. While Pacifica was beautiful his eyes were set on someone else, Miss Fortune. Mabel knew Dipper had a crush on Miss Fortune but Mabel didn’t know Dipper was Mister Mystery himself, and that one day Mister Mystery would win over Miss Fortune.
“Well… Do you want to do anything? I mean we’re already at the mall. We could do some window shopping or go see a movie. Of course if you wanted to we could go back to my mansion and do something?” Pacifica looked up from her phone. She was bored and refreshing Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and such wasn’t doing anything for her.
Dipper looked up at her and blushed. “Uh- I”
Pacifica stammered “I- I didn’t mean anything like that!” Both teens faces were equally red and neither of them could look each other in the eye.
Dipper looked down at his thumbs and started twiddling them. “Sorry, when you hang around Mabel too much everything seems… Suggestive.”
A few minutes go by before the two can look at each other again and they briefly lock eyes. Pacifica’s eyes glance down at Dipper’s lips and before either of them gets a chance to say something “SCHMEBULOCK” is heard in the distance.
In unison Dipper says “You should get to safety, Miss Fortune will be here soon!” as Pacifica exclaims “You should get to safety, Mister Mystery will be here soon!”
The two head off in opposite directions and unbeknownst to each other transform into their superhero personas.
Mister Mystery floats by and whistles “Looks like we have a bit of a small problem”
Miss Fortune raises an eyebrow “That doesn’t make since, we aren’t facing something that’s small”
“Yes but gnomally it would be”
Miss Fortune takes a second and slowly turns to her partner. Mister Mystery has a cheesy grin on his face while she has a scowl on hers. In the brief second of Mister Mystery’s stupidity Schmebulock has enough time to vomit a rainbow at the pair. They dodge at the last second and it is revealed that the rainbow barf dissolves what it touches.
“If only I’d have Gnome to have brought a barf bag.”
An audible groan is heard from innocent bystanders all throughout the area. Miss Fortune uses her staff to whack Mister Mystery on the back of the head.
“Fine I’m coming up short on puns. I don’t gnome any more”
Even Schmebulock rolls his eyes this time and just says “Schmeb… Schmeb… Schmebulock”
“All right if you are through with the puns we have people to save and someone or something to turn back to normal.”
“You got it MF” Mister Mystery says with a smile while still nursing the back of his head. He moves his hand past his grimoire and draws a symbol in the air. Fireballs materialize and seek out the gnome like creature. Unfortunately the fireballs seem to dissipate when they come in contact with the solid rainbow.
“Keep him distracted while I try to think of something Miss Fortune looks around and tries to formulate a plan. Unfortunately nothing seems to come to mind. She is at a loss.
“Any bright ideas MF? My attacks don’t seem to be doing anything!” Mister Mystery narrowly dodge projectile vomit, the vomit hits a building revealing some plumbing. Some of the water sprays on the creature and seems to dissolve the armour for a small period of time.
“I’ve got it, we’ve got to dissolve the armour!” Miss Fortune exclaims looking around for how to execute her plan.
Mister Mystery smiles as he remembers a new spell that has come up in his training. “I’ve got something that might do the trick!” He brushes his hand against his grimoire again he holds his hand in the air and draws a new symbol in the air, he then begins to hold his hands out and channel energy into the symbol. Dark clouds start to form and it starts to drizzle. The drizzle picks up into a heavy rain and thunder starts to reverberate through the area. Stray thunderbolts strike close to the creature as his armour is dissolving.
Miss Fortune stares at Mister Mystery for a few seconds. She had no idea he was training hard enough to learn new spells. She felt as if she was slacking as she hadn’t learned anything new in a while. She also noticed that he was continuing to channel energy into the symbol which meant if he ran out of energy he would change back soon. She had to hurry and end this.
She split it into her eskrima sticks mode and began to knock at the gnome creature. She chipped away at the creature removing gnomes with every hit. Once the creature was small enough she chanted and channeled her own energy into her sticks and struck the creature where its neck would be. A blue flame engulfed each gnome putting them back to their former selves. Miss Fortune then threw her staff into the sky and the buildings and everything that was destroyed was restored back to normal.
“I’m surprised MM. I didn’t know you were training that hard.” Miss Fortune said with a half smile. “I feel a little jealous. You have that book and I have a staff. You get spells and I don’t even know what I have.”
“What? MF, you’re amazing that’s what you are! I wouldn’t have thought to have dissolved the armour if you wouldn’t have told me. Just because I have spells doesn’t mean anything thing. You have a knack for just being incredible. Plus you know what your actual ability is?”
“Wha?” Miss Fortune looks into Mister Mystery’s eyes longingly. They reminded her of Dippers, but Dipper would never act this way. Dipper was shy. Plus she didn’t know if Dipper thought she was beautiful or not. She didn’t even know if Mister Mystery thought she was beautiful or if he was just flirty.
Mister Mystery’s looked into her eyes, her eyes seemed so familiar yet so distant. Where Pacificas were shy yet demanding these were eyes were demanding yet distant. Mister Mystery’s Grimore began to beep revealing he had expended too much energy “Being beautiful. Got to run”
“Pacifica! There you are. Are you alright?” Dipper asked worriedly
“Yeah, I’m fine. Miss Fortune saved me.”
“Oh. She’s beautiful-I mean wonderful isn’t she” Dipper blushed. He didn’t mean to say that. He didn’t mean to reveal his crush to Pacifica. She didn’t need to know about it.
“You think she’s beautiful? You sound like Mister Mystery.” Pacifica blushed. It’s nice that Dipper thinks some part of me is beautiful, now if only I knew if he thought the real me was beautiful she thought to herself.
“Yeah she’s beautiful. What’s wrong with sounding like Mister Mystery.” Dipper raised an eyebrow. She must not like Mister Mystery, did I do something wrong? Why do I care if she likes Mister Mystery He wondered.
“Oh there’s nothing wrong with Mister Mystery, he’s fine. He’s pretty cool considering his new storm spell.”
“Yeah well I’m still a fan of Miss Fortune and her Light Staff. She could be the light of my light any day… Did I say that out loud?”
Oh Dipper Pacifica blushed and thought to herself

hi! your gnomalities shop has some really cute stuff! can I ask — the apricot jam candle, does it smell sweet or more tangy like fresh apricots do? i hope that makes sense? i'm sensitive to sweet scents but like the idea of an apricot scented apartment :D
tysm! 💕 the candle definitely is a sweeter scent than fresh apricot, but it’s more of a “fruity” sweet rather than a “sugary” sweet (if that makes sense)? I personally don’t find it overpoweringly sweet but I wouldn’t want it to upset your sensitivity!
