The cast of Frozen Empire was interviewed on CBS Mornings, and this exchange (starting around 6:20) had me cracking up:

You know that awkward scene in the original Ghostbusters where Ray is dreaming of "relations" with a floaty ghost while he's dressed as Napoleon for some reason?
That ghost shows up in Ghostbusters for Sega Genesis as a miniboss in the frozen apartment level and no one ever talks about it.

So the new ghostbusters movie is coming out soon and I’m excited
I really enjoyed Afterlife since I felt like it was a good sendoff/next generation compared to that of 2016 (Which personally I think would have done better if it were a spin-off following another team of Ghostbusters in a different city then a full-fledged remake, keep all the characters as is and I understand if you like it)
Anyways onto Frozen Empire, so far it looks good and I’m excited to see what adventures lay ahead in this cold sequal

Just watched Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire tonight and....I'm conflicted with it
I saw some notes on here that said it was crap. And as much as I didn't want to believe such things.....it was kinda meh.....
That's not to say I didn't like it. I did!! It was good. Loved seeing the oldies, Pheobe, Slimer!!
It just....felt a little flat.....like, there was no real build up to the major event. Not like Afterlife (which has me crying every single time I watch it). And the ghost girl.......just why? Pheobe is meant to replicate Spengler in a different, yet similar way...and I didn't really get that from her. I get what they were trying to do with the ghosty lass, but it just felt forced. And phoebe's original mannerisms from Afterlife just kinda felt forgotten
I also wish we had more original possy moments. Ray and Venkhman, especially.
Other than that, I'd give it a 6-6.5/10. Maybe if I watch it when it comes out on disc, it might be better. It's like 2nd ghostbusters. It's okay to watch, but it doesn't match its original counterpart
