Was thinkin' bout Jester and how while Tally (both from a crackship between my oc Scribe and @candys-mewporium oc Aku for context) won't evolve just get bigger and maybe get some extra back spikes to be gengar adjacent as they've started haunter adjacent, Jester being more Gastly WILL evolve and so decided to draw the next stages

Not much changes their second neck tail getting bigger remaining a connected second neck and gaining thick fur from the gengar line genes, more patterns both just accents or smeargle stripes, horns are slightly lopped still looking more like a silly jester hat fitting the name

As a Gengar I imagine they're bigger than a standard Gengar with a more defined shape body not just a circle from the mewtwo genes causing some shaping, tail fuses to tummy creating classic two tummy look, get red eyes as a treat and bigger stronger legs.

Probably uses all their extra power from the second neck and their natural paint to cause problems, true ghost menace hours.

It had been a year.

Though part of her suspected it had been longer. It felt like an eternity.

Sometimes she felt like the only peace she could truly find anymore were these night walks with her son.

He'd been born a few months before it happened. Yet he didn't understand a thing, of course. He was merely a child.

One who tugged now on her wrist, with a distressed whine as he looks over his shoulder, brows furrowed.

"Stain? What's wrong?" She turns her head to look down at him in concern. She knew her son was extremely prone to having sudden rushes of anxiety. She'd hoped the soothe bell around his neck would improve it, but it had only lessened a small amount.

"Scarf!" Once the word escaped him, Pigment had never turned as fast. Looking back on it, she's not sure why. Perhaps part of her hoped her father remained out there. But she knew the answer all too well.

It had been a year.

Fate was a despicable thing, taking her father. She'd thought maybe she'd stop having hope that he'd come back. She knew he was gone. And she knew she wouldn't see anything as she turned around.

"Stain, there's nothing there. You needn't worry." She tries to comfort him but the young Mewtwo doesn't take his eyes off the tree. Her frown depends.

She gives his hand a gentle squeeze, but he still doesn't avert his gaze, instead beginning to wave one of his arms, his legs beginning to bounce as he rocked on his feet. "There! There!" He squeaked out, scrambling to hide behind her hip. Pigment breathes out.

"I'll check, okay? Just to be sure." She offers. Stain looks up at her, his eyes wide before his chin lowers in the tiny symbol of a nod. Releasing his hand lightly, she glides herself closer to the tree, peering her head around it.

"I told you, nothing's there."

And nothing was. She wasn't sure why he'd been so panicked. He's rather skittish, but still, not enough to be startled by well..air. She decides to come to the conclusion that perhaps he saw some sort of other 'mon on its night route.

"Ma! Saw Scarf!" He's waving both hands now, his fur spiked as he looks around with nervous glances. A strange detail to keep bringing up. Her heart sinks as her own mind recalls a scarf, her hand drifting up to clasp at the bandana over her shoulders.

A swift shake of her head as she leans down and lifts Stain into her arms, tucking his head against her chest.

"It's alright. I'll protect you."

And so, a hum emerges from her. A tune that once it reaches Stain, it causes his eyelids to flutter downwards, a tiny yawn escaping him as his trembling slowly starts to cease.

Perhaps she should've checked behind the tree twice.

A shadow looms there now, his eyes narrowed as his fingers grip the fabric he wears. The blue was now much darker. His fingers now claws.

He'd changed after death, he'd noticed. So had the world, it appeared. After all, it had been a year.

How foolish of he to think it could all stay the same.

Woop that was a long one. I came up with this during school.

I'd had the general idea for a while after seeing some of Tc's asks about what if Scarfy died and decided to do a little something.

My backgrounds aren't top tier but the flowers in the front are Forget-me-nots.

For clarification: this isn't supposed to be bashing on these characters for not recovering in a year after Scarfy's death. It's meant to show that grief lasts a long time. And sometimes it takes time to completely settle. Pigment is still sort of coming to terms with it, part of her struggling to believe he's truly gone.

Also, in this, I made the choice that after a Pokemon dies, they become y'know a ghost. Or in Scarfy's case, a ghost fusion. He became a Haunter fusion since Pig technically has Gengar blood and I'm pretty sure Stains would-be fusion is a Gastly.

I might do more doodles and such about this, but here's the first! I genuinely really like this idea and may or may not have gotten some inspiration from Ghosting by Mother Mother.

About the children and mega evolution, it's more possible for Huey than Pig, as detailed below.

for Huey: Given that Newtwo's mega stone was implanted early in her life, it's likely wound up with tissue growing in and/or around it, so it could very well have caused changes to her genetic material, thus resulting in at least some mega power being passed to Huey, though probably not enough to allow him to mega evolve without a stone.

as for Pig, however: Mewtwo's stone was never actually implanted, so it could not have ended up causing a mutation in his DNA when the sample that made Pig was obtained. To make matters worse, she is also part gengar, meaning she has DNA that is incompatible with either mewtwonite, which could potentially cause problems if she tried to use either a mewtwonite or a gengarite, so she would probably have to get a mega stone custom-made to do both at once.

yeah, that's why with Huey I haven't decided if he needs a stone of his own or not

with Pig maybe that mega gengar fusion i did once could actually happen XD

Picture number 3! ^^ I wanted to do another Pokemon and decided to do a fusion of a Mew and Shiny Duskull ^^ I tired to do a whispy thing with the body, didn’t turn out like I hoped, but I really love how the colors came out ^^ Of course I’m still working on it, but I really like this one ^^ I was also inspired by @xxtc-96xx Mewtwo character, Pig, after being drawn to be part Gengar. I chose Duskull cause I like it, especially the shiny version ^^

Concept art/references for characters that exist in an Au in my head<3

So wanna start by saying thank you to @xhunterbeatsx as they let me use some of the randomly generated mew and twos they got which led to the creation of this beautiful shiny baben and for giving me the idea that the mew has a gengar parent so thank uuu!!

Homebound au is basically silly guys (gender neutral) they live in a house with a human and they feel safe and happy shenanigans house hold jobs and crossovers ensue with character developments ect ect, may never make it may one day do it who knows for now the goobers

Both of them are part poison in their own way, the mewtwo having Poison tera type and I wanted elements of that in their design so spooky green tail patterns and skull go brrrr and obviously the Gengar poison genes tho the mew can consciously control poison creation and the mewtwo is only poison when using Tera stuff I just wanted elements in my design cause I can

The mewtwo many darker colored mega parts are likely poison sacks, toxic baby<3

Meanwhile Mew can activate a sort of mega but only on their Gengar side just leaning into their heritage more.

Despite the megas I doubt they really use them they're safe and happy in their home and like their human caretaker<3 they're very just happy together coexisting she keeps them safe they feel safe and are well fed enriched ect. It's just a soft they're in a house au

OMG you actually drew it?? the design looks so cool (better than what i drew at least) how do you plan on making hybrids for pokemons btw? do you just sketch them out and see which one looks the best? (i never thought mew ash gengar could be so cute, i wanna hug em)

Sometimes i'll make multiple, but usually i just see what's a good balance of both or what makes more sense for the Story line.

Like for Ash, i made sure his Mewtwo was the primary while Lucario lagged behind, same with Indigo and Absol. Only for them to both grow into it.

Whereas Peach only haa some showing of Ampharos, its still noticeable.

I try to make it where it can be identifiable with or without color. Its usualky a hit or miss, but i do find it fun just to mess around.

If someone were to commission me about the fusions, i would provide them multiple different sketches to see whoch they would prefer, like the Galvantula fusion a commissioner requested once :)

Random thoughts about Detective Pikachu

SPOILERS AHEAD! ONLY CLICK IF YOU SAW THE MOVIE!

-Instantly recognizing the ‘They’re outside’ line.

-Watching Tim trying to catch the Cubone and thinking ‘you got to weaken it first, idiot!’

-Acknowledging where Cubone’s skull came from must of come across as morbid to those unfamiliar with it.

-Holy cow, was that Red? The Japanese looking trainer wearing red with the hat?!

-Howard was suspicious from the start.

-Lucy’s Psyduck is a LOT preferable to Misty’s Psyduck.

-Lucy annoyed me at times tbh.

-Detective Pikachu (DP) is the best character in the film.

-I got mighty suspicious at how little they showed Harry and that his hands showed that he was white. I was starting to wonder if Ryan Renyolds was also going to end up being Harry.

-The more adult/teen jokes were actually funny.

-I honestly thought the ‘R’ was in reference to Team Rocket and was expecting them to show up.

-Mr. Mime was funny and I was surprised how Tim (aka the film) decided to go dark with the gasoline bit.

-Ms. Norman (AKA Ditto’s more human form) had a cool design... the eyes were creepy though.

-Actually that twist with Norman was awesome and I didn’t see it coming. And now it establishes just how dangerous Dittos can be.

-Hearing that instrumental from the first season of the anime! GAH! MY HEART! LOVE IT!

-Actually the score was AWESOME!

-Gengars are FREAKING scary in the real world.

-The whole bit with the Magikarp. Especially when it turned into Gyarados.

-Well... never going to look at Greninja the same way again.

-The realization that Mewtwo was most likely the one from the first anime movie! Twenty years ago? Kanto?! I got chills on that one.

-The bit where Pikachu getting badly hurt with the tiny rock barely made sense beyond 1. Pikachus are weak against rock types to begin with and 2. How fast was that rock going?

-I liked that Mewtwo was actually nice in this one.

-DP singing a depressing rendition of the Pokemon theme from the anime made me laugh so hard.

-The reveal of the mind transfer thing made me think ‘Oh crap, Harry’s controlling Pikachu, isn’t he?!’ I wanted that to be true as the film kept going.

-But JEEZ! Never let Mewtwo talk with his mouth ever again please! (I know he was taken over by Howard, but... yeah).

-I don’t think a Pokemon would like it if I was controlling their body thanks to fusion.

-Mewtwo vs DP on the Pokemon Floats instantly reminded me of Smash Bros Melee. I thought that was a great reference.

-Actually, can we acknowledge seeing PIKACHU VS MEWTWO equals sheer awesome?! I don’t think I’ve seen it outside the games and it’s just amazing to see those two well known Pokemon fight.

-Then there’s the symbolism behind the whole fight when hindsight comes into play (because it’s really two fathers with different views of helping others fighting each other and it just so happens that the good one is inside a more humble, smaller, but still strong Pokemon while the more dangerous one is inside a powerful legendary).

-PD FINALLY using his powers and unleashing an impressive Volt Tackle. That was incredible.

-The confirmation that DP was indeed Harry inhabiting Pikachu’s body might have been an easy to figure out plot twist but I loved it since it meant Tim was able to get along with his dad again thanks to DP.

-Though I was scared that the original Pikachu was willing to sacrifice it’s life so that Harry could have a body to survive in. Thankfully the cutie was still alive. But seriously, that is one sweet, loyal Pikachu that deserves a lot for what it was willing to do.

-It was nice to see that Renyolds was indeed playing Harry... but I got to admit that Renyolds was actually rather attractive looking with that scruffy looking facial hair and glasses combo.

-And yay, Tim stays to follow in his dad’s footsteps and hang out with him and Pikachu!

-THE ENDING CREDITS! First the recreation of the first game opening and then seeing the characters in the video game art style was amazing! And it made me realize just how diverse the cast is.
