y'see its weird for me because while i do love putting headphones on and disconnecting from the world around me for a while, or doing a little dance to some of my jammie jams,

on the other hand, i was raised in a way that i developed some big paranoia tawords my parents, and i cant hear the floorboards creaking or stairs groaning and i just hate hate hate it when people sneak up on me even if its not on purpose

so i can't enjoy it 😔😔

Just being in the weekend, honestly. I've been sick this week and this afternoon at work left me very burnt out.

What's A Book You're Currently Reading?

I'm technically reading 'The Starless Sea' by Erin Morgenstern but I haven't actually picked it up in ages.

What's A Game You're Currently Playing?

I'm just finishing 'The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve', I really only have a bit of bonus content left so all the gameplay is basically finished. Absolutely loved the GAA duology, 10/10 no notes. Herlock Sholmes is my greatest love. I'm a bit sad I've completely finished the Ace Attorney series now because I love them, but I'm very glad I got to play these last two.

What's The Most Recent Movie You Watched?

I think Killers of the Flower Moon was most recent, I saw it in the cinema. I haven't watched any movies at home recently that I can remember.

Are You Watching Anything On TV Or Listening To Any Shows?

I'm on the last season of Love Victor at the moment, which is cute, I'm enjoying it. Also watching the Great British Bake Off, of course.

Favorite Season?

Winter, probably? I do also like Autumn. But I love Christmas and my birthday's in winter.

What's Something You've Learned Recently?

How to make biscuits and gravy, as a non-American I had never made or eaten it. It was pretty good even if I wish the gravy didn't look like clam chowder

I’m Bilingual! I can speak both French and English (which is pretty common where I’m from but I’m still proud of it!)

I’m medically advised not to do sit-ups because of a back surgery.

@rebouks made some student ID cards for her sims and I was like, you know what, that's cool as shit. So as a result, I spent far too long making some fake student IDs for my fake people to go to their fake schools. I'm very normal.

5. What do you keep in mind when writing a particular character? Since there's no character specified, I'll just go with the general things I keep in mind for all characters. The most important thing for me is that their dialogue fits them – like, it has to be their voice. Rereading, rewording, and rewriting dialogue is so important to me, so the whole thing doesn't sound like the same character speaking. I also have certain things I write on the first draft that end up sounding unnatural later. Such as Romano swearing too much (yes, it's possible), Spain starting his sentences with "Ah" and ending with a "haha," and the list goes on. A funny thing is that I actively avoid Prussia using awesome. He'll say sweet, cool, great etc., but his awesome counter is very low. Because I hate when a fanfic has him saying it all the time. It needs to have impact. It needs to actually be awesome.

13. What character took the most research? This is hard, because I don't... I don't do character research? Not really, at least? I do historical research for plot and idea purposes and sometimes check out fanart or other fanfiction for a ship I'm not as familiar with if I plan to write it (such as when I introduced nyo Russia in Birdbrains), but I don't do a lot of dedicated character research. I might look up canon heights, eye colours, and other stuff, but I'm not sure that counts. Spamano just lives rentfree in my head, I don't do research for their personalities. I do research for the plots I want to do, or history I'm interested in. Like, I've read a lot about history, but it was because I wanted to learn the history of something, not because I wanted to use it for Hetalia fanfiction. I just also end up using it for Hetalia fanfiction.

26. Any Hetalia AUs that live rent free in your head? Every Hetalia AU I write or plan to write is living there, of course. Not a lot of canon ones though. I stole these characters, they are my dolls to play with now!

Fun Fact About Me:

I have Russian grandparents, and they tend to use Russian words and phrases over English since they lived there for a long time.

Quite a few of these have trickled down through the generations, and as a result I didn't know the English word for dustpan for a good while.

I still forget this a lot, which gets me plenty of weird looks from people who don't understand Russian (ie half my classmates).
