it's so fucking concerning to me that parents will take away their child's privacy as a punishment.

like I know no parent who does that actually fucking thinks about it like that but that's what they're doing. when they take away the child's/teen's door to their room? that's removing privacy they once had.

lack of privacy is used for prisoners not for children who didn’t want to do exactly what you say at all times like a little unpaid servant.

and of course this ties into how people view children and teens. they view them as an extension of the parent. not as a separate human being but as something to control like puppet.

Thoughts on my Rammax idea that when giving each other gifts Max gets luxury renovations, expensive clothing, top of the line stuff only for Ramattra to give him a solar powered dancing plant and Max to be over the moon about it

I'm a sappy guy and I think Max would treasure anything Ramattra gives to him (puts it in his lockbox so he can look at it fondly). Even if it's something extremely basic like, idk, a picked flower, he'd instantly bring up 20 pages of google to check how to best care for it or preserve it. I don't think Ram even knows what to do with all the shit he got gifted from Max. He's a very bare necessities type and whenever Max gifts him another expensive pair of shoes or whatever he's grateful but like... He'd stuff it under the bed or whatever until Max brings it up again LOL.

Also when you mentioned the solar powered dancing plant I completely forgot those were a thing and I thought you referring to those dancing cactuses from foster's home for imaginary friends at first??? But yeah he would have it by his desk or window at all times, even though Ram probably just picked it out at the store cause it looked nice and was 75% off its original price.
