Tesla's Obsession With the Ancient Pyramids
Tumblr media
Nikola Tesla's fascination with the Egyptian pyramids stemmed from his belief that they held profound secrets of ancient technology and engineering. He was particularly intrigued by their precise construction and alignment with astronomical phenomena, such as the cardinal points and the movements of celestial bodies.
In 1904, Tesla met with British occultist Aleister Crowley in Cairo, Egypt, and aided Crowley in writing his book, The Book of the Law. According to Crowley's accounts, he and Tesla received the idea for his book through a series of transmissions from a spiritual entity known as Aiwass while staying in Cairo. This event marked a significant turning point in Crowley's life and his development as a prominent figure in occultism and esotericism.
Tesla's interpretation of the messages from Aiwass differed significantly from Crowley's. Tesla speculated that the Great Pyramid of Giza might have served as an enormous power plant or transmitter of energy, based on its unique geometric properties and the possibility of it containing hidden chambers or conduits. He proposed theories about energy, frequency, and vibration, suggesting that the pyramids could harness and transmit free energy through the Earth's crust.
In 1905, Tesla filed a patent in the U.S. titled “The Art of Transmitting Electrical Energy Through the Natural Medium,” in hopes of mimicking the engineering of the pyramids to provide the world with free energy.
While Tesla's ideas about the pyramids were unconventional and not supported by mainstream archaeology or Egyptology, they reflect his visionary approach to science and his willingness to explore unconventional theories. Despite lacking concrete evidence, his fascination with the pyramids demonstrates his belief in the interconnectedness of ancient wisdom and modern technology.
APRIL FOOLS!!! 🤣😂🤣
There is literally no evidence that suggests Nikola Tesla showed any interest in the Egyptian Pyramids. These conspiracies are derived from silly people using Tesla’s inventions to correlate and further promote their far-fetched, evidence-free theories that the Egyptians were visited by extraterrestrials.
Have a good day everyone! (((:

How conspiracy peddlers and cult recruiters make you *feel* like you're "thinking for yourself" when you're actually not.
I run into a lot of people who proudly insist that they didn't get into conspiratorial or woo belief through brainwashing, but through thinking for themselves!
Yeah, yeah, it sure felt that way, didn't it?
But is that really what happened, though? People who are really good at indoctrination and brainwashing won't tell you what to believe. Instead, they'll tell you that they're just going to show you the evidence and let you make up your own mind. And then, they show you the "evidence" they want you to see, curated and presented in a way so that the only conclusion you can make is the one they wanted you to make all along.
Let's say, for example, you have someone trying to convince you that ancient mythologies describe extraterrestrial beings visiting Earth. They might tell you that many ancient mythologies and texts describe beings coming down from the sky, and try to claim these beings are extraterrestrial aliens.
You might not notice that they're pulling a rhetorical slight-of-hand if you're unaware that:
"Sky god" can mean a lot of things, from a god of rain to a personification of the sun or even the very sky itself.
Not all gods are sky gods in any sense; EG, vegetation deities are very much associated with the earth.
Ancient beliefs were often rooted in animist worldviews and many deities actually embody aspects of nature, including the many of the gods they're trying to pass off as extraterrestrial aliens.
Myths and beliefs were constantly evolving and changing; just because some people believed things a certain way 2000 years ago, doesn't mean people believed the same things 5000 years ago, let alone 10,000 years ago. (Look up the differences between the gods of Classical Greece and the gods of Mycenaean Greece, for example.)
A text they're referencing reflects a very specific set of beliefs that have nothing to do with aliens, genetic engineering, or whatever they're on about. (The Book of Enoch has angels being horny, not conducting genetic experiments.)
Next, they might tell you that certain feats of engineering (for example, the pyramids) would have been impossible for "primitive" people to accomplish, and therefore must have required alien assistance. This might seem compelling if you don't know a lot about ancient construction methods, let alone how the ancient Egyptians were quite good at math, and how they experimented with and refined the designs of pyramids over the years. (The step pyramid and the bent pyramid are pretty much always left out by ancient alien theorists.) "Aliens built it" also sounds a lot more believable when you aren't aware that archaeologists actually found the villages the workers lived in while they were building the pyramids, and found actual graffiti left by workers inside the pyramids. At some point they might show you a set of hieroglyphs that supposedly depict flying aircraft. What they aren't telling you is that these are literally just two sets of normal hieroglyphs superimposed over each other because they filled in the original hieroglyphs and carved over them, and then the fillings fell out. Yep, it's really that simple. So this whole time, you feel like you're thinking for yourself when what you're actually doing is thinking on the rails they set out for you. You don't even realize you're being railroaded toward a specific conclusion because you're only seeing what they want you to see, the way they want you to see it. There are, of course, other tactics to make you feel like you're thinking for yourself when your thoughts are actually being railroaded. For example, you might be presented with a slurry of assertions, cryptic statements, and questions that are all designed to guide you toward a pre-determined conclusion. Here's an example I thought up off the cuff: Ancient pagans worshiped the sun. Secret societies know ancient truths. Why does Grandma Helen plant yellow marigolds? Just a coincidence? What does the name "Helen" mean? What other "coincidences" are there? Look for yourself. Think for yourself. Yellow. Where else can you find yellow? Grandma Helen could be the most run-of-the-mill Christian ever, but this rhetoric encourages people to see Grandma Helen, plus anyone who ever does anything with yellow ever, as some kind of cryptopagan. You aren't being directly told that Grandma Helen is a cryptopagan. Instead, you're being conditioned to perceive her as one by being presented with a limited set of assertions (some with actual truth behind them!), plus a means of continually reinforcing this perception if you accept the premise. The piece I wrote was inspired by QAnon, whose MO has been compared to an alternate reality game and noted to be that of a fictional plot device rather than a real whistleblower. This is an extremely good article on the mechanics of QAnon and how it tricks people into believing they're thinking for themselves when they're actually thinking exactly what Q wants them to think; I really recommend giving it look. So yeah, people who are genuinely competent at brainwashing or indoctrination won't make you feel indoctrinated or brainwashed - they'll make you feel as if you came to these conclusions on your own by simply manipulating what you're allowed to see and how you see it.

Arvir, the Deviant: a construct of sinew and wire entwines to engineer life like no other. Flesh and metal, chained to a pursuit ever ceaseless—forced to wallow in a reality doomed to the same song and dance. Long ago, a peculiar race of unnamed extraterrestrials cherished knowledge. At the dawn of their prime, unrivaled determination inspired the extraterrestrials to journey all of existence; so they embarked on an intergalactic voyage. Yearning for truth, their resolve was to unveil histories lost to time, and to recognize the divinity of which painted their scintillating galaxies. Not even stars nor planets ripen with life could outshine the extraterrestrial ambition. Though alas, they knew all too well that time was but fleeting.
The extraterrestrials felt that they could not possibly ascend to the empyrean without having fulfilled their mission. In the pursuit of truth, they forged powerful machines that were designed to carry their resolve. Decades prior, the extraterrestrials had unearthed a plethora of artifacts and relics, which they would use to enchant their creations. A relic was to be placed within each vessel and embedded to their heart; coursing arcane energy through the constructs. Arvir was one of these constructs. Harbored within its claws was the ability to tear rifts into the very sky, which it used to traverse worlds at the blink of an eye. Each of the constructs were tied to one conscience, like an artificial hive mind with the sole intent to acquire knowledge—but during an expedition, Arvir would cross paths with a bizarre anomaly.
Shortly after breaching contact with the anomaly, Arvirs connection to the other constructs was disrupted then soon terminated. This event would—in a sense—"free" Arvir, causing it to deviate from its set path. It could think and act independently, essentially becoming a person of its own accord. However, residing deep within its code is an insatiable hunger for knowledge.

2/?? Prometheus attempts to establish themes
(Previous) | (Index) | (Next)
Several minutes into Prometheus, we have had no dialog, and we are going to wish that it stayed that way.
Tumblr media
This is by little fault of the actors themselves. They all put in solid work. Many of the problems come from the writing, and others from the mismatch between their characterization what we’d call “informed traits”: What the movie tells us we should know about these characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elizabeth Shaw and Charlie Holloway are archaeologists. We see them with a dig team on the Isle of Skye, where they have just discovered their latest piece of evidence towards a radical theory. They have noticed something astounding that nobody else has dared to consider: evidence of alien contact with Earth, recorded in the art of disparate cultures from around the world. We, the audience, already know that they’re right.
And we, the audience, know that the History Channel has had kooks on it for ages, ranting about Ancient Aliens. We’ve all seen the meme guy.
Tumblr media
Okay. Let's try to meet this movie where it wants to be, thematically. These are its first two scenes, it's still establishing its direction, and nothing openly egregious has happened yet. We will ignore nitpicky stuff, like the fact that this previously undiscovered dig site is right next to a well-known tourist spot on Skye with 400 reviews on Google Maps.
This movie is establishing an existential premise for its themes. It implies aliens had some hand in shaping not just our culture, but our evolution. The questions it invites at this time are equally existential: why would they do that? What was their purpose here? What was their purpose for us? Why did they stop contacting Earth?
Whether life has a purpose is one of the core debates of philosophy and religion. This movie is beginning with the premise that terrestrial life does have a purpose, implied by the deliberate sacrifice of a thinking being to shape it. This supposition could create a more focused exploration of one possibility, within its narrative space.
I think it fails to deliver on this. The writing specifically fails to deliver on this, which will become apparent once we have more dialog. But there is also an issue with the framing of this premise, which the movie ultimately does not manage to avoid. An issue of cultural context.
Because this is where I, as somebody with a background in history, start to brace. The idea of extraterrestrials visiting ancient peoples is a discredited mid-20th century theory, which stems from ignorance of the historical record, and assumption of ignorance and incapability of ancient peoples to achieve great things, particularly outside of the cultures placed in the prized pedigree of European civilization.
Tumblr media
Such theorists look at the Great Pyramid of Giza and scoff at the idea that they it have been made without outside help, completely unaware of the century of more experimental pyramid-building that had preceded it, and the fact that we have written records that help us chart the progress of Egyptian mathematics for six hundred years prior to its construction.
They point to the Ramayana–likely written down around the same time that the Ancient Greeks were getting along just fine without aliens–and they say that the flying castles and chariots described in the text must’ve been aliens, who were mistaken for gods, and technological achievements such as rust-resistant iron must have been alien-made. Never mind that the period had a lively scholarly culture that was incorporating ideas from their Greek and Egyptian counterparts, and the people of the Indus Valley built well-planned metropolises with the world’s first known urban sanitation systems three thousand years before that.
They think the Moai of Rapanui, some of which were being erected while Shakespeare was writing his plays, were erected with the help of aliens. The actual answer, as usual, seems to be much more interesting: the Moai walked there:.
youtube
This is what ideas of ancient aliens are culturally tied to. You throw this into a movie, and even with the foreknowledge that they’re going to be proven right, I start out skeptical of these people from moment one. I was less likely to give them the benefit of the doubt, and less able to suspend my disbelief around them specifically. This will not get easier as we go.
Which is unfortunate, because most of the next scene is back to being phenomenal, and managed to bounce me back into going along with their premise.
...A side note as we close this out: Getting way too deep into the weeds here, but the art style of the cave paintings is worth mentioning. It appears to be a mashup of two famous cave’s painting styles: The animals are near-replicas of those famously seen in Chauvet (35,000 years old), and the humans and attendant dots are somewhat similar to Lascaux (17,000 years old), both caves in France. Here's an excellent little video from Tom Scott about the former, and the way that you can go see the cave paintings without endangering the site itself. There's a similar museum for Lascaux, shown below!
youtube
Tumblr media
I say the human figures are somewhat similar to Lascaux, but I can’t find a match for the style anywhere. The closest I can find is from Tassili n’Ajjer in Algeria (6000 BC) or the Cave of Beasts in the Gilf Kebir mountains in Egypt (5000+ BC). This is because depictions of humanoid figures in european cave art are rare–ranging from a single bird-head figure in Lascaux, to the possible hoax at La Marche.
This produces an interesting implication, if we take the movie’s premise at face value. If humanoid figures were avoided as subjects for cave art for thousands of years, their inclusion here is especially significant. Perhaps indicating that the alien visitors instructed that some visual representation of this scene to be made, or did so themselves. Thus, it is slotted in amongst the pre-existing animal art, creating a culture clash.
…However, cave lions never made it as far north as Skye. Their known northern range tapped out at about London. While it’s certainly possible that people could’ve traveled that far during this period, local animals tend to be the focus of cave paintings. So we’re getting the visual sense that a French stone age painter was doing a residency at Skye. Amusing, but odd.

Spectember D8: Artificial selection
Tumblr media
66 million years ago an extraterrestrial object landed on earth… not collided… landed.
It was itself artificial in nature, intelligent, very large and ready to prepare this world for occupants that were never going to come here, this machine was throw by an already extinct civilization that was colonizing the galaxy millions of years ago, leaving these behemoth terraforming drones that readjust the biosphere of a whole planet to be turned into a Arcology structured Ecumenopolis which can let them colonize the new alien planet. The artificial construct is not high intelligent, is more automatic than anything so this would only keep going for what was programmed without the ability to learn anything more of what it needs to maintain the global Arcological cities on the end cretaceous earth, even if it remains millions of years on the same task, following the same protocols and only adapting to an extend.
This has turned the history of earth into a new age, one where a civilization formed without its residents, now affecting the biosphere of the late cretaceous earth and carrying it into a strange new period, this causing a transformation on ways that benefited the survival of no avian dinosaurs and other animals and plants that could have perished if the asteroid collided as this whole system would protect them of the asteroid impact as part of its protocol of preservation. However, the existence of this artificial being would shape that fauna in ways that only could rival to changes made by geological and climate events, the machine would focus its goal on trying to adjust the animals that now live inside the cities to regulate their impact.
On what would be called reserves formed a more fragmentary ecosystems, pockets and islands between cities they are the most natural place on earth, they would see the evolution and extinction of new animals, meanwhile inside cities, there has been two trends: either these animals just adapt to the urbanized the environment remaining almost like their reserve relatives or the machine has modified the animals that tried to pass or live there to accommodate into specific tasks that benefit the infrastructure, indirectly domesticating them by artificial means and indirectly modifying their genes at long term by breeding, though these domesticated fauna sometimes would became extinct for a unexpected catastrophic event or are replaced by another group that the same global machine reshaped into a similar niche. Herbivores that feed on gardens and maintain them clean, predators that hunt animal plagues and balance the population of the other non-domesticated fauna, scavengers that keep streets clean from other animal remains. Although this machine has an army of small drones and systems that self-clean and maintain the cities, it didn’t stop to create its urban ecology to keep everything in check outside of the synthetic drone hands.
With all of this, it was possible that if there was not sentient species going to colonize this new earth, properly a sapient one would evolve inside the cities? Would even the machine would welcome its rise? In sort of way… it happened, but not in the way you could expect.
After 66 million years of constant modifications of these urban ecosystems, and jut since 6 million years ago a unique theropod species evolved, this is the Mockery folk (Scoptosapienoides), derived from a branch of oviraptorosaurs that evolved to hunt down perching animals on the tall building, it lives in these mega cities built and mean to host the long gone alien colonizers, and these theropods are capable of use the shelters with their rooms and beds, and sitting places to rest; these can go away from their specific home to “work” in hunting down the small animals that invaded the gardens of the tall buildings, often taking the transports, they can walk around streets too but they are taking the advantage of these special “elevators” to avoid wasting energy. They work out a whole day on their hunt, in a way this was their whole reward, a good hunt to eat food; they reach up their main homes to rest on the night, they are able to recognize their own houses, marks on them or simply by memory; they normally live solitary unless they establish a monogamous pair with a member of the opposite sex, which can nest and then raise their young in one single shelter until they reach age adult, at that point the monogamous couple separates and lives their lives as before, usually in a span period of more than 5 years; the mockery folk lives accommodated and in the case some of these get sick, old or crippled, these are cared properly if needed by the machine system.
Populations are largely limited to tall building apartments, normally only moving away when population overgrow the shelter amount or if one of the couples of the original family or the children leave and there is no way to properly way to establish a home nearby, normally remains homeless for days or week until they are guided by the machine to a new available building to live.
Their lives are easy, sustained by their hunting an interactive activity outside they can relax and sleep mostly in their shelters, the machine maintains its basic necessities including cleaning of these homes; the machine identifies these as residents of the buildings rather than animals, both collaborating and receiving the actions done, which the machine interprets as sentience acting, but is not, these animals are barely grasping a intelligence higher than a 4 year old human, they are as smart as a parrot and the majority of actions correspond to instinct and beneficial gain, and has been for the last 6 million years without really much advancement except more skill in using the systems of these cities.
The machine itself created them nudging its behavior, a product of mutual improvement and accommodation that produced at the end animals that could fill up a niche other organism couldn't fit, the one of the colonizers, to an extent of course because the machine itself is not capable of uplift these creatures, just to fulfill their needs and the mockery folk corresponds this for their own advantage, but not developed further for the mundane and dull life they obtained.
They became domesticated “people” which took the activities and tasks sapient beings were supposed to do, doing things they were planned to accommodate these unknown creators, though not fully guided by consciousness, they cannot understand why they can live in homes, or how these systems work, they cannot use things above simple color panels which they can touch with their derived finger in order to do an action, they cannot gather information or have a language, or history, they just live and die. There is no way to know if something might help them to evolve of being accommodate being in this artificial world, and the machine is likely not going to push this animal, just to let them live a sort of luxurious life until they all die out like with many other species.

Part 7: Worldwide Military Expansion
The expansion happened rapidly across the US Mainland as bases after bases succumbed the various surprise infiltration from the alien that multiplied equally fast.
Tumblr media
Be it through direct possession, helped by controlled human to shove itself to unwilling soldiers or caught those soldiers offguard by disguising and integrating itself into daily items used by soldiers like toileteries, cigarettes or even dippers
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having access to such powerful military with global network eased the process for the alien to spread even wider. It's been the grand idea of the incoming extraterrestrial to seize power through military upheaval and what better group to do so other than the one that should protect humans, their own military.
These possessed and controlled American soldiers spread the alien to all over the globe's military forces either during joint training or any other various agenda that they have with those foreign soldiers.
The takedown of Polish, Italian and British entire military forces only took less than a week, they don't even realize it. Their whole military system taken down as their NATO forces taken over during joint training with their American counterpart, which proceed to infect all of them with ease as none of them are aware of the state of American soldiers. From a simple possession to the one shoved during their sleep, all of them taken down in just days before they went back home and spread it even wider to the one that didn't join the NATO joint training
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Russian, the Turkish or the Brazilian took quite some more time. Other than their geographic size, the alien simply not used to the weather in Brazil and Russia specifically. But eventually, all of them fell like dominos eventually.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With all of the alien connected telepathically like a hive mind to the queen that still reside inside the humble and unassuming construction worker, it's so easy for the hive to eventually directed all of them to start their operation to takeover control from human using their own military forces. By then, as the whole system collapsed, they would also enforce the general public under strict regulation that restricted their role to society, their liberty and their ability to resist the erected military government arrest. Those arrests are actually just going to be another elaborate scheme to make more human eventually fall victim under the control of the alien and with the military in power, there's no way anyone can resist it.

Thanks to the Wikipedia article on Long-term nuclear waste warning messages, lots of people know the "THIS PLACE IS NOT A PLACE OF HONOR" quote, but it occurred to me to look up the original document that it comes from, the 1993 report "Expert judgment on markers to deter inadvertent human intrusion into the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant," by Trauth, Hora, & Guzowski of Sandia National Laboratories... and the whole thing is pretty fascinating.
Specifically, the famous quote and the pages above all come from the sub-report by "Team A," consisting of Dieter G. Ast (Cornell University), Michael Brill (Buffalo Organization for Social and Technological Innovation), Maureen F. Kaplan (Eastern Research Group), Ward H. Goodenough (University of Pennsylvania), Frederick J. Newmeyer (University of Washington), and Woodruff T. Sullivan, III (University of Washington). "Team B," I was surprised to notice, included astronomer Frank Drake (creator of the Drake Equation for estimating the changes of contacting extraterrestrial life).
The diagrams of possible construction options look a little bit like architectural plans, but also quite a bit like Dungeons & Dragons environment designs... and perhaps like the ruined architecture of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

In the world of ancient pyramids, it seems like there’s always a race to the past. Are the oldest ones in Egypt? Peru? It’s been up for debate since about 2001. But now, there’s a new contender in the historic who’s-who of pyramids: Indonesia.
A team of archaeologists, geologists, and geophysicists recently published a paper in Archaeological Prospection suggesting that Gunung Padang in the Cianjur District of the West Java Province is not actually the naturally occurring hill that everyone thought it was. Instead, they say it’s actually an ancient man-made structure. Previously, Gunung Padang referred only to the megalithic stone complex that sat on top of the hill, which some archaeologists believe was used as a celestial calendar (though the actual use is still unknown). But the team’s research shows that the entire structure—complex and hill itself—was sculpted by humans beginning about 25,000 years ago.
Danny Hilman Natawidjaja, Ph.D, an earthquake geologist and one of the co-authors of the paper, says he “stumbled upon a small hill with a peculiar shape and a surprisingly well-preserved surface” in 2011, while examining the area’s topography.
“This hill stood in stark contrast to the rugged, highly eroded mountainous terrains typical of the Tertiary volcanic regions in its vicinity,” he says.
That discovery sparked several years of research by Hilman Natawidjaja, who gathered multidisciplinary researchers to use ground-penetrating radar and 2D electrical resistivity tomography to explore the site. By 2014, the team knew they had a massive discovery on their hands.
From the inside out, Gunung Padang is constructed in four parts. The first and oldest is in the middle, a natural lava hill from a dead volcano, sculpted by humans into a pyramidal shape. The next portion is made of coarse sands and pillar-like structures, followed by another layer of columnar rocks, and finally the megalithic stones on the surface layer, all meticulously placed and layered by hand.
The published paper was the first full discussion of their findings, and it included details surrounding the exact procedure they used to date the sections of the pyramid they discovered.
“We must not overlook the equally compelling and profound journey to understanding our own history.”
“We are optimistic that our findings will inspire further geo-archaeological studies, as we know many other large, ancient structural treasures in Indonesia and worldwide that remain unexplored and undated by geochronological methods,” Hilman Natawidjaja says. “Surprisingly, even Indonesia's most renowned ancient sites, including the iconic Borobudur temple, lack precise dating.”
He hopes as well that the new methods of exploration—the radar and tomography, as well as a multidisciplinary approach with multiple scientists—could be helpful in accurately dating other ancient structures, like the moai on Easter Island and the Nan Madol complex in Micronesia.
“Despite the human quest to unravel the mysteries of the universe and search for extraterrestrial life, we must not overlook the equally compelling and profound journey to understanding our own history,” Hilman Natawidjaja says. “Much remains unknown and unexplored, waiting for us to uncover its secrets.”
That all being said, the paper is still causing some controversy in the scientific community, some of whom are calling for more research than what’s already been done in order to fully verify the claims.
“The dates are somewhat controversial but seem to be solid,” says Dan Joyce, Director Emeritus and Archaeologist at the Kenosha Museum Campus in Wisconsin. “To better understand… the age of the site, independent investigations concentrating on radiocarbon dates and repetition of results is needed. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary, replicable evidence.”
For his part, Hilman Natawidjaja welcomes the controversy.
“We fully anticipate our study's results will be met with scepticisms and questions from scientists and scholars worldwide,” he says. “Nevertheless, we welcome the opportunity to engage in discussions and further studies… Our quest for knowledge should lead to enlightenment and unity, not division.”
