Bruno’s wife and Mirabel’s Mamá in Unforeseen! She is of Italian decent alongside her brother, Alonzo and is the one that takes Bruno in after he’s been wounded.

More details will be disclosed later, but her and Bruno fell in love after helping him discover and explore what love really is, because in Unforeseen that emotion and feeling is uncharted territory for him! He’s been deprived and lonely all those years, killing and slaughtering without a care for human life and dignity.

Of course marriage came next and what came after that? Little Mirabel!

Each of the rats have a job to do to help the colony but Maria's is quite different.

Pictured: (Maria not like other girls rodent.)

She's a fearless protector but not involved in any building/tunneling work (despite how much she boasts) instead, she has the unique ability to decipher human text with impressive accuracy! Because of Maria's abilities, she is dubbed 'Doña Maria' however, her aggressive nature and loner attitude, has lead her to become a terrifying presence to many in the mischief.

She learned how to read because she's more interested in humans and their skills, than her own kind. She proritised forming a bond with Bruno, so much, she became disinterested in anyone else. This worsened after the incident with her first mate. But Fernando is in her life now! And he's guided her out of her comfort zone a significant amount.

So, whenever some-rat finds a note they think applies to them, they take it to Maria to get it translated; to them, the notes and the answer they receive, is directly from mamá Bruno, who is their leader and mother but also, essentially their God.

"Your message says: two eggs, 1 tisssp? of nutmeg and 3 cups of flour."

"So... mamá Bruno wants me to pick flowers?"

"I believe so, better get to work!"

On todays episode of Here's My Effort At Creativity I give you:

Maria Josefina Guzman-Madrigal

In our rp, @aquaauratora and @encantoartdump have MANY OCs. Many of them being children of our beloved main characters. Here we have Dolores and Mariano's daughter, Maria.

Mariano thinks she's named after him, but really, Dolores just really liked the name. But she lets him think what he will.

Maria here, has her Mamá's beautiful complexion, with her abuela's firey hair and stunning green eyes. She has her Papà's nose and when she grows up, she will be almost as tall as him.

Here, I want to say she's about six or seven. but in the rp she's about one and a half, almost two.

Her favorite person is her 'Belo Félix and will literally ditch anyone and anything for him.

Please don't come at me. I can't draw for crap.

Hi! Meet my Encanto OC for @encanto-extended-edition: Daniela Serrano :)

Full name: Daniela Alejandra Serrano (& Madrigal in the future) Age (movie): 52 Height: 172 cm, 5'8'' Weight: above average Hair type: black, fairly curly Eyes: dark brown Birthday: 8th of May 1898 Details: a big, hooked nose, wide eyebrows

Daniela is a kind, creative and reserved person. She doesn't usually initiate social communications but is always ready to keep up a conversation. She has two close friends and otherwise doesn't have any people she lets herself be vulnerable with. Her diary knows more about her than any person alive.

She plays a couple of instruments and knows different thread craft.

She is sometimes very stubborn and rebellious because this way she reminds herself that she's still in charge of her own life, even when she doesn't have any strength for it.

Daniela is the youngest child in Serrano Venezuelan-single-mother-and-children-family. Her mother is called Maria and her older twin-siblings - Luis and Carmen.

She is a former 'gifted kid' who rebels against her mother when she's 18 and quits weaving. Daniela tries to find a new place in the community but fails A LOT, even if she works hard (which she doesn't usually do). She then drunk on freedom makes A LOT of bad decisions and has to be brought to her senses by her sister and best friend. At 24 she returns to weaving very disappointed in herself. She leaves Encanto at 35, after a particular person tells her to maybe change her life. She then returns home at 52 and sorts out her relationship with her family.

As a result, her Biggest Problems are: relationship with her mother, her perfectionism, avoidance of conflicts, rarely considers her own feelings and desires and poorly describes them, rarely opens up to people.

This is the shortest summary of her story, and I hope the least confusing one :)

You can notice green lines and numbers on the character sheet. These things indicate intervals when she and Bruno were dating (yes, this is oc x Bruno - I wanted to explore one thing I don't usually see in oc x Bruno fanfiction, which I'll talk about later, but this can as well be due to the reason that I don't actually read them that much).

Also, you can notice that all the phrases above all four Danielas are about her mother(s). Well, there is no reason for that at all.

I made her almost a month ago and I feel like I still don't have a clear image of her in my head, but I guess it will all come together when I start writing the actual story...

POB: Villavicencio, Colombia.

Likes/Hobbies: Horseback riding, hiking, rainfall, watching a sunrise, and playing with her mice. She loves making bead jewelry. She also makes lampshades, windchimes and mobiles out of glass and other trinkets.

Dislikes: Nosey, loud people, arrogance and her father leaving. Having meltdowns when very upset. She especially dislikes seeing her twin suffer from migraines.

Hair Color/Style: Dark brown and usually in a loose braid which has loose strands flowing around her ears. Hair is naturally curly, Type 2B, mid-back and no bangs.

Family: Fraternal twin sister Francisca. Her dear mother, Mercedes Reyes. Pablo Salazar, her father, who left when she was 13. Paternal grandma, Perla, who passed when she was a toddler. Paternal grandpa Arturo. There's some uncles, aunts and cousins, but she wasn't close to them. Doesn't know her maternal family side, except that her mom has a little sister. Her grandma Maria had a fallout with Mercedes and forbade the family to communicate.

Backstory: Alejandra was a shy, but loving and playful child. It seemed like everyone adored her for how cute and sweet she was compared to Francisca. However, Alejandra didn't like the attention. She didn't like everyone talking to or about her. Whenever she made a mistake, it led to self-esteem issues. Thankfully, Mercedes was there to guide, encourage and love her. Francisca was close to her despite being opposites.

When her parents annulled their marriage, Alejandra took it hard. Pablo hurried off with his new love and didn't contact his daughters. Alejandra felt betrayed but missed him. After all they used to be close. Less than a year later, he suddenly invited the girls to his wedding and the whole Salazar family was in Medellin. They attended, but it went downhill. Alejandra suddenly lost it and had a meltdown before the ceremony! Next time she heard from Pablo again it was 10 months later: he announced he had a new baby daughter! To her, it felt like being replaced.

After Mercedes died, there was no word from Pablo about what happened (though he learned it far later.) With no other family and only 15, the girls were alone. They went from place to place, living on odd jobs. 5 years later, due to a bizarre and frightening situation, they were separated and feared they'd never see each other again. That was easily the worst time of Alejandra's life. She celebrated her birthday without her sister for the first time. She tried living on her own while hoping Francisca was alright. Saving the details for later, but after 6 long months, they were reunited.

During Casita's rebuilding, new changes are underway for Alejandra. She's turned 30 and has lived in Boyacá for a few years. She loves her job as a glassblower, her animals and sharing a home with Francisca. Yet she feels like she doesn't belong; like she's missing another piece of her life. She decides to make amends with Pablo. Riding Acosta she arrives to Medellin, and finds out she has 10 half siblings! When father and daughter talk, it feels awkward. They don't click like expected, and she wonders what's wrong. Despite apologizing for ruining the wedding, they both fight. She abruptly leaves as thunder and lightning hit the sky. Lost in a violent storm, Alejandra rides southwards feeling angry, confused and unloved.

If you've read my fic, Miracles Come in Pairs, you know this part. 😉 Alejandra encountered familiar and dangerous colleagues. (People who were responsible for tearing the twins apart.) She was relentlessly pursued through jungles and mountains...into the Encanto...where danger couldn't follow. She encounters the Madrigals, not at all once, but different points. She's surprised they're so kind and helpful to a stranger. She doesn't know anything about them or the place since Mercedes barely discussed her past. Casita's been alive again for just two days but remains still, so she's not startled. How would an outsider react to a magical house or unusual gifts? Slow introductions.

Julieta and Pepa are sure Alejandra's related to Mercedes. They look eerily alike and it sparks hope they'd reunite with their old friend. Bruno...poor man feels like he's seen a ghost. After meeting Alejandra, Bruno recalls a vision from when he was a teen. Hidden deep among all the past tablets, one he completely forgot, and nobody else saw. It's Mercedes holding a baby girl. At the time, he thought it was predicting Mercedes's new sister. Now? What if that baby is Alejandra?

What made you decide your OCs names/what do their names mean?

Sivonne Alessandra Thawne: Sivonne is a bastardized version of the name Siobhan that 14-year-old me heard for the first time, and I thought it sounded cool. Alessandra, their middle name, means "Defender of men" and I thought that worked pretty well for her.

Jason Luca Barron: Jason means "Healer", Luca means "Light". It works pretty well for his personality.

Cassandra Addison Stevens: Name chosen at random based on vibes.

Hailey Tuyet Laurence: "Hailey" chosen at random based on vibes, means "hay's meadow" and "Tuyet" is Vietnamese for "snow".

Jessica Esmeralda Wells: Jessica was just chosen to establish her as the E-2002 version of Jesse Wells, and Esmeralda means "emerald". It was just chosen at random.

Regina Maria Rivera: "Regina Maria" is a reference to her family's Catholic faith, meaning "Queen Mary", which refers to Mary, mother of Jesus.

Ember Mallory Del Rosario: Name chosen at random based on vibes.

Aryazana'canwr'mwyar'nos: Aryazana doesn't mean anything, I made up the name myself, and "canwr mwyar nos" means "Night Singer" in Welsh, a reference to her abilities from being half Siren. Her human name, Arya, means "Illustrious".

Kelsie Saoirse Gupta-O'Riordan: "Kelsie" chosen at random, "Saoirse" chosen because it means "Freedom" and is relevant to her role in-universe as Siv's therapist.

Delilah the Cat: Named after the biblical Delilah, a cunning woman who uses trickery to get what she wants (like a tiny half-feral kitten lmao)

Sivonne Bellona Thawne: "Sivonne' to establish her as E-2022's Siv Thawne, "Bellona" because it's a Roman war goddess, and I think that fits Onnie's vibe.

Penelope Lowe: Name chosen at random based on vibes

Jessica Marina Wells: "Jessica" establishes her as E-2022's Jesse Wells, and "Marina" was based on "Marina and the Diamonds", one of my favorite musicians.

Moon Hyun-Ki: Hyun-Ki means "Clever" and I thought that would be a good narrative choice because he keeps trying to outwit Jessi and would be able to if she wasn't OP af.

Qiara Lucia Bradshaw: Qiara as an alternate spelling of "Kiara", but with a Q since she technically doesn't have a real name, she's just "Q". Lucia was chosen because it means "Light".

Marie Kiyoko Kaneyama: Marie chosen because it means "Bitterness" and Marie's one of my Angst Blanket OCs, "Kiyoko" after "Hayley Kiyoko", aka Lesbian Jesus.

Liah Amina Abdul: "Liah" was chosen because it sounds vaguely similar to some other Cardassian names, (It also means "delicate" so that's an extra bonus), Amina was chosen because it means "Faithful".

Soraya Farwah Al-Sharif: Named after a couple of close friends I had in middle school.

Thalia Xanthe Sylvan: "Thalia" after Thalia Grace of the Percy Jackson novels, "Xanthe" after one of the mythical Amazon warriors.

Athena Stonehenge: Not her real name, but was chosen because it's giving "Mysterious, wise, and cunning". Her real name, however, is Mollie, and she will kill you if you call her that.

Laila/Experiment 669: Laila is Arabic for "Dark night", which is a homophone for "Dark Knight", aka Sith lmao. Her experiment number is a cross between "666" and "69" because I am very mature.

Reyna Blazestar: Chosen because it sounds like some 13 year old's power fantasy Mary Sue OC name, which it technically is, because Reyna uses a fake name to distance herself from her abusive stepmother.

Aldrich Tobias Morgan: Name chosen at random based on vibes.

Samira Nasrin Yazdani: Name chosen at random based on vibes.

Sohelia Morgan Yazdani: "Sohelia" means star, and I thought that'd be funny because Vampires and the sun, y'know? And Morgan as her middle name is a subtle way of giving her father's last name without outing her as half-vampire.

Vanessa Leah Wolf: Name chosen at random based on vibes, HOWEVER, her last name, Wolf, was chosen because she gets transformed into a monster by a mad scientist and I thought that was subtle and fitting for her.

Matthew Avi Rosenthal-St. James: Name chosen at random based on vibes.

Dolores Valentina Aguilar: "Dolores" means "Sorrows" and I thought it was fitting for a vampire. "Valentina" was chosen based on vibes.
