Sometimes Edward was convinced the world hated him, but he usually didn't had many arguments to support that statement. Life screwed everyone equally at one point or another.

But. Here's the thing.

He spent years of his life making fun of Mustang for not being able to successfully complete his paperwork in a timely manner... just to find himself, similar age and all, behind the colonel desk; with a stack of papers of his own.

Cruel irony for sure.

He took the pen and played with it, not wanting to set his eyes over more papers for the little time he had left in the office. At mere five minutes of his time to leave, the door was knocked.

He sighed, thinking more papers were about to make it onto his desk, and said "Come in."

It has been one year since the Promised Day. Things seem to have calmed down in Amestris under the leadership of Roy Mustang, the youngest Fuhrer in the history of the country. But within the past few weeks, there have been reports of strange chimera-like creatures popping up around the country, killing innocents and wreaking havoc. However, unlike the chimeras that have been known in the past, they seem to be a mixture of organic and inorganic matter. Killing them is a painstaking process taken on by the military. Where are they coming from, and who, if anyone, is creating them?

Blog Update + New Carrd!

Okay, so I've spend the past few days learning how to use Carrd, and I found a template that seemed pretty fun to use. I've been using it to move over my muse list, and in the process I've moved some of my test muses over as main muses at the request of some of my roleplay partners... as well as for myself in some instances.

I'll be switching the blog over to a Dash Only blog, with my rules and muse page both on the Carrd, which you can find below. Do note that if things seem unfinished, that's because it kind of is, but I have enough there that I feel confident enough to launch it.

I have so many ideas already and not enough time to work on all of them... but lately an old idea has resurfaced in my memory..

Fullmetal Ed: This has been in my brain for 10 years, it plays out very similarly to the halloween special. Ed has graduated from reading comics to reading manga! He’s picked up a series called “Fullmetal Alchemist” and he’s very excited because the main character has the same name as him! While Edd and Eddy are stopping by to visit him, he receives a package! It’s a cosplay jacket of Edward Elric’s coat! Ed dons the bright red jacket and immediately his mind slips into fantasy land. All of a sudden, he finds himself in the world of fullmetal alchemist, and he, Edward Elric, must go on a quest to find his brother!

He sees all of the eene characters as different fma characters, and they all get roped into Ed’s shenanigans for better or worse. Edd deduces the only way to pull him out of this trance is to play along with his charade and find this mysterious brother. In the end, they end up building an alphonse replica out of cardboard lol.

The characters Ed sees go as follows:

He sees Eddy as the homunculus, Greed

He sees Edd as Winfry, much to Edd’s embarrassment to roleplay as the love interest lmao

Kevin is Mustang

Rolf is Ling

Jonny is Gluttony

Plank is Pride

Nazz is Lust

Sarah is Envy

Jimmy is wrath (they have an eye-bandage which is really the only reason Ed sees them as that particular homunculus.)

Maybe a cameo with Ragnar, the dog I made for Rolf, and Nina lol...

I can definitely see funny gags where Ed is actually using alchemy to create things from nothing, which confuses the hell out of Edd.

Just thought I’d share because honestly I’m shocked I never did much with this idea 10 years ago lmfao

Final Wreckage Installment

Hi all--two years after finishing Wreckage (has it already been that long??--Spoiler alert, it has), I have the final promised smutshot finally complete and up, just in time for 520 Day. If you never read my comment replies, the last thing I had planned for this verse was a smutshot where Ed and Roy roleplay a teacher/student scene with Ed in a skirt. If that’s not your jam or doesn’t fit your headcanon of who Roy and Ed are in Wreckage, please skip it--I promise, my feelings will not be hurt. I know this one isn’t for everyone.

Wreckage as a series is now marked as Complete and I do not plan to revisit it. I think it’s fitting that the final installment is some absolutely kinky sex they get up to--you have to feel bad for whoever had to go through their stuff. 🤣

Anyway, thank you all again for all the love and support for this series over its writing and posting. I know that for a lot of you, this isn’t going to be the way you want my final visit to this world to go, but please know you are welcome to play in my world if you’d like--just credit me and link me please! Three ships: I've been on my Fushiguro Toji/Okkotsu Yuuta agenda for the past 3 years and it doesn't look like I'm going to stop anytime soon lmao. Gong Shi-woo/Higuruma Hiromi are also often discussed with one of my friends these days. As for the third... let's say Adachi Tohru/Dojima Ryoutarou, since I've been thinking of doing a Stardew Valley playthrough while roleplaying as Adachi

First ship: Oh man. I think it's between Kanda Yuu/Allen Walker from D. Gray-man, or Envy/Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. My first long-fic was edvy for sure though !!

Last song: I am right this second listening to "抜刀" by 羽生まゐご ft. 花譜. A very sweet song from one of my favorite composers currently

Currently watching: Well there's football on the tv right now, England vs Italy, but I am. Not exactly watching. We've been going through "Durarara!!" with the mom these past few weeks though !

Last Movie: Yesterday I half-watched "Péril en la demeure" (1985), which was. Certainly a movie. Surprising amount of homoeroticism considering the bulk of the story was about an affair between a man and a married woman. Been thinking about redrawing a scene with the guy and the hitman, just for fun

Currently reading: "Fandom: Identities and Communities in a Mediated World" (2005) ed. Johnathan Gray et al. I am on that literature grind for my Masters thesis, but it's an interesting read at least

Sweet/savory/spicy: Sweet !! Especially now that the weather's finally got a bit colder, sweets are always welcome

Currently craving: A hug. I don't get to see my friends nearly as often as I used to and I can feel the touch-starvation settling in
