I know i’ve said it before but i hate when writers of extended universe stuff conflate stuff that’s important to the audience with stuff thats important to the characters. That’s his “iconic outfit” because he wore it in the first movie (which took place over a single day) but he has no reason to still be wearing it in every sequel. She was characterized as flighty and prone to picking up and dropping new hobbies constantly, with knitting as her current Thing, but now all she does is knit, even in flashbacks. The name we know that character by is a random alias they have no reason to reuse with other characters or in different situations. That line was quoted by everyone after the movie came out but in-universe like two people heard it and no one has any business quoting it back. the new characters in the soft reboot have no reason to care that dark lord credulous is really jolene, because unlike the audience they have no reason to know who jolene is. Just because we saw it on screen doesn’t make what actually happened public knowledge.

head in my hands im trying to come up w prinzhes headcanons but i literally cannot because prinz is like. a pink and less tragic and less headache-inducing version of tesilid.
they're both very gentlemanly, they both can fight, if someone is unfair to them they're more likely to smile and try to smooth it over than to fight back. if hestio is going to find prinz attractive then he'd have found tesilid attractive too, but if he isn't nursing a massive crush on tesilid by the time he meets prinz then it means that tesilid gave him so much blood pressure problems that they're no longer his type.
so anyway in conclusion teshes solos- wait what? how did this turn into teshes propaganda

see that's what i don't get like the cheapest yarn skeins at my local yarn store are about 3€ and even if we assume all the yarn she's talking about is cheap (it's not) that's still more than a thousand euros in stashed yarn ????? that you then have to "get rid of" with stashbusting projects because you didn't plan anything when you bought it ????? a thousand euros ?????

Saturns’s Tron AU babbles:
Tron having a “User Care Guide” stored somewhere in a memory file which he has to uncover again once Sam crashed into The Grid unexpectedly.
Course he has to update a few things, given how Sam is growing. (Ah the teen years)
He eventually transcribed it down on a data pad and hands it to Beck one day.
“You wanna be Tron? This is part of the job. Good luck.”
And he promptly leaves Beck to watch Sam alone for the first time.

How different is comics shocker to spectacular spiderman shocker cause in my mind he's the cowboy sounding one
Technically speaking, they are entirely different characters but characterization wise not really that different.
Spectacular Shocker is Jackson Brice aka Montana, a member of the minor recurring henchmen trio known as the Enforcers. He didn’t exactly get that much screen time or major characterization in the comics. And in Spectacular he is explicitly shown stealing the suit from what is implied to be the comics Shocker, Herman Schultz.
However characterization wise they basically got folded into each other. Spectacular wanted the enforcers and Shocker and Montana’s gimmick of he has a lasso is kinda hard to work with. And again kinda thin characterization outside of his being from Montana. Merging them saves time on having to introduce Schultz and you get a fun performance from Jeff Bennet.
Shocker is a consummate professional, he is in it for the money, he plays smart and avoids grudges.
The only major differences is intelligence
And overrall treatment in-universe
Spectacular Shocker is consistently seen and treated as a threat.
Whereas comic Schultz has been a street level villain with disinterest in climbing the ladder for decades in a genre where the heroes keep getting stronger and he is just some guy with gloves that make shockwaves
but yeah other than the intelligence and being in a story where the only threat is Spidey giving him a more intimidating air, Brice is a rather good adaptation of the old Shocker

(Updated River's blog some more. I moved Headcanons to under the Tags link in the blog side-bar, and I've replaced it with a page called Key Info now. Just be warned, it's quite lengthy!
This page will go a little more in-depth about her suit and weapons load-out, and I also copy-pasted the headcanon I made earlier about her apothecary there too... Figured it'd be best to condense them into one page, instead of them getting lost in the Archive at some point!
The suit and weapons info might change with the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League... Not entirely sure how I feel about that game to be honest lol. 8'D;;; BUT NOW, ALLOW ME TO SCREAM IN THE TAGS.)
