Guide on where to find official EXILE TRIBE contents

This list focuses on sites/services that is managed by LDH, therefore does not include social media

Includes free and paid contents

Disclaimer: Focuses more on Jr EXILE groups contents as they're the ones I follow most.

I try to include pictures for most points, please click on them to see the details clearly

CL (LDH's own VOD site)

LDH's comprehensive blogging sites. Is considered Exile Tribe's/LDH main website where contents they covered is divided according to groups (refer to images above) and all of them covers:

backstage photos from concerts (rehearsals, off shots, events)

blog posts with photos/vlog updated by the artists themselves

original content (radio show, independent programs)

※ Members that are part of EXILE and other groups (e.g: Alan, Gun-chan, Mandy, SEKAI, Taiki, DEEP SQUAD) have separate blogs on EXILE mobile/LDH mobile and Tribe Mobile.

⚠️ Pictures that have the LDH/group logo on them are all pictures from their mobile sites. Please be careful of sharing them publicly (as they are widely known to be paid content)

2. Tribe Kingdom (puzzle mobile game) - FREE: I have made a separate post about the game here. While the in-game stories are fictional, some parts (voice lines, kitchen talk) include real facts about the artists themselves

Q&A:

How do you sign up/access sites that require JP address and phone number? A: I sign up to Tenso and use the address and number they provide. Most JP sites I've used accepts the address and phone number Tenso provides. None of the sites I've mentioned above require any sort of code to be sent to your Tenso phone number

How do you pay for the services that require JP bank accounts? A: I do not have any jp bank account and have only used my local (asean) bank account. I just pick a card and pray it's accepted by the payment site

Which site do you recommend the most for international fans? A: CL. Other than the fact that the contents are subbed, it is also the platform where you can openly post in other languages (not Japanese) whether in replies or live chats. I really encourage getting the Premium subscription to show LDH how international fans are supporting them.

What is the difference between Official Fan Club contents VS mobile sites? A: Mobile sites main contents are blog posts that are updated by members themselves so the contents mainly focus on individual members (good for people who are only fans of specific members of a group). Mobile site contents are also less formal (pictures/videos are not edited professionally). FC are mainly group-centered contents and the quantities are not as many as those that are posted in mobile sites. But no same contents are posted in both site. ※ Personal note: Mobile sites is worth your money more compared to FC

RMPG Mbr Survey Results

The favorite member survey was the one with the most participants - 37 people filled out the survey. The most popular member and least popular member are definitive, for second most/second least, it gets blurrier. 9 members were the most popular answer in at least one poll, whereas 12 members were the least popular answer in at least one poll.

Below the cut, I'm gonna go into more detail and do a question by question breakdown with votes and everything (as well as the occasional additional commentary) and a breakdown by member, but have a quick TL;DR of the results.

TL;DR: Kazuma was the most popular answer by a landslide. After Kazuma, the Top 8 seem to include Makoto, Riku, Ryu, Hokuto, Itsuki, Kenta and YamaSho. Takuma is the least popular answer, and the Bottom 8 fills out with Shohei, Kaisei, Takahide, Zin, Shogo, Likiya and Rui.

Methodology: I went through and counted the votes in every poll result. If several members had the same number of votes, placing them either at the top or at the bottom, I counted both of them as having the highest or lowest vote for the final count of seeing who won the most polls.

Almost every question was multiple choice, only allowing one selection. Three questions had check boxes, allowing multiple options to be selected.

Not every member had the same number of polls. Everyone was featured in at least 15 polls, but some members were included in up to 18 polls.

Note: I am referring to them as 'placing', like 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, however I am not removing places for ties because I just don't want to deal with that. So if two members tie for 1st place, the next place will still be 2nd place, even if it should apparently be 3rd place in a normal tournament thing.

Favorite member overall

Top answer was Kazuma with 11 votes, then Ryu and Makoto tied for 2nd place at 4 votes each, and Riku and Hokuto tied for 3rd place with 3 votes each.

Least popular answers were Zin, Takuma and Rui, all of whom got 0 votes.

Second favorite member overall

One of the very few places where anyone gave Kazuma a run for his money. The top answer was a four way tie - Kazuma, YamaSho, Hokuto and Ryu each got 5 votes. Then 2nd place was Riku, with 4 votes, and 3rd place was Makoto, with 3 votes.

Least popular answers were Shogo, Likiya and Takuma, all of whom got 0 votes.

*Note: I don't think I'd do this question again. I think for future surveys, should they occur, I'd do Favorite Overall, then Top 4 and Top 8. I think this one caused confusion on the next questions, so I'd skip this one if I did it again.

Top 3 members overall

This is one of the check box questions, asking for Top 3 members overall.

This chart speaks for itself, in my opinion. Kazuma was the most popular option, receiving 20 votes. Then Riku, Hokuto and Itsuki tied for 2nd place, all receiving 10 votes. And Makoto is in 3rd place, with 9 votes.

Least popular answer was Takuma, with 0, followed by Likiya and Rui, each with 2 votes. (if one pays attention to the least popular answers, one will notice a trend)

Top 4 members overall

The second check box question, asking for Top 4 members overall.

Kazuma was, again, the most popular option, with 20 votes. Then Makoto in second place, with 15 votes, and Itsuki in third, with 13 votes.

Takuma got a vote! But he is the least popular answer, with 1 vote, followed by Likiya, with 2, and Rui, with 4.

Top 8 members overall

The third and final check box question, asking for Top 8 members overall.

Kazuma is the most popular answer, with 27 votes. Then Makoto and Riku tied for 2nd, with 22 votes each. Then Zin and Hokuto tied for 3rd, with 21 votes each.

Least popular answers are Takuma, with 6 votes, Rui, with 11 votes, and Likiya, with 12 votes.

*Note: The reason why I wanted these questions, Top 3, Top 4, Top 8, was to see who's high on people's lists even if they weren't the top spot. As we can see, not only is Kazuma the favorite for 11 people, he's in the Top 8 of 27 out of 37 respondents.

Age category questions

Pre-95s: Riku was the most popular answer, with 19 votes, then Zin with 14 and Likiya with 4.

95s: Kenta and YamaSho tied, with 14 responses each, and Rui got 9 votes

97s: Kazuma won by a landslide 21 votes, with Shogo getting 5 votes, then Hokuto and Shohei tying with 4 votes, and Itsuki getting 3 votes.

98s: Makoto won with 18 votes, then Kaisei got 8 votes, Ryu 7 votes, Takahide 3 votes and Takuma 1 vote

Oldest 8: Kazuma won with 13 responses, followed by a Riku and YamaSho tie at 6 votes each, then Hokuto had 5 votes. Kenta got 3 votes, Likiya got 2 votes, and Zin and Rui tied for last place with 1 vote each.

Youngest 8: Itsuki won with 9 votes, then Makoto and Ryu tied for 2nd, with 6 votes each, then Shohei got 5 votes to put him in 3rd. Shogo and Kaisei tied with 4 votes each, then Takahide got 3 votes and Takuma was in last place, with 0 votes.

Oldest 4: Kenta won with 12 votes, Riku was a close 2nd place with 11 votes, and Zin was a close 3rd place with 10 votes. Likiya was in last place with 4 votes.

2nd Oldest 4: Kazuma won with 19 votes, YamaSho was a distant second place with 8 votes, and Rui and Hokuto tied with 3rd place with 5 votes each.

3rd Oldest 4: Itsuki won with 14 votes, then Shohei was in 2nd place with 9 votes and Shogo and Kaisei tied for 3rd place with 7 votes each.

Youngest 4: Makoto handily won 1st place with 21 votes, then Ryu in 2nd place with 11 votes and Takahide in 3rd with 5 votes. Takuma is in last place, with 0 votes.

Faction based divisions

The first 3 questions were regarding the Routes. In the final year of their musha shugyo before debut, they broke into 3 groups and did separate performing schedules. Those three groups are the Routes. I don't know how important this division actually is - it does come up occasionally (like the Rampe Dorm profile update videos are all by Route and their amusement park trip in 2019 also had them divided into the Routes).

Route A: Hokuto won 1st place with 10 votes, then Ryu was in 2nd place with 8 votes, and Itsuki in 3rd place with 6 votes. Kenta took 4th place with 5 votes and Likiya and Takahide tied for last place, with 4 votes each.

Route B: Riku won handily with 12 votes, then Zin won 2nd place with 9 votes and Shogo was a close 3rd, with 8 votes. Shohei took 4th place with 7 votes and Takuma got a vote! But Takuma was in last place with 1 vote.

Route C: Kazuma won 1st place with 18 votes, Makoto was in 2nd place with 8 votes, then YamaSho was in 3rd place with 6 votes. Rui was in 4th with 3 votes and Kaisei was in last place, with 2 votes.

The next questions are about the teams in the Back to the Roots series they did on CL Live around the beginning of the 16 tour. They did a challenge where they all rode standing bikes for 45 seconds and that - somehow - resulted in the team divisions. Honestly, not fully sure what the criteria was there. If you have a CL Live subscription, I highly recommend the Back to the Roots series, they actually subtitled all of the parts in English.

Team Likiya: Makoto won 1st place with 11 votes, then Kenta is in 2nd place with 7 votes, and Kaisei and Riku tied for 3rd, with 6 votes each. Likiya was in 4th place with 5 votes and Shogo was in last place, with 2 votes.

Team Zin: Hokuto is in 1st place with 12 votes, then Zin is a close 2nd place with 11 votes, and Itsuki is in 3rd place with 9 votes. Rui is in 4th place with 4 votes and Takuma got a vote! But he's in last place, with 1 vote.

Team YamaSho: Kazuma won with 15 votes, then YamaSho and Ryu tied for 2nd place with 7 votes each, then Takahide was in 3rd place, with 5 votes, and Shohei is in last place, with 3 votes.

Rampage Black and Rampage White are the divisions used for Tribe Kingdom (the mobile game), Kitchen Kingdom, etc. These are also the original configurations of Rampage Gold and Rampage Silver.

Rampage Black: Ryu won 1st place with 8 votes, Hokuto and Itsuki tied for a close second with 7 votes each, and Riku took 3rd place with 6 votes. Kaisei is in 4th place with 4 votes, Likiya 5th place with 3 votes, Shogo 6th place with 2 votes and Rui in last place with 0 votes.

Rampage White: To absolutely no one's surprise, Kazuma won 1st place with 13 votes. Kenta is in 2nd place, with 7 votes, and Makoto is in 3rd place, with 6 votes. Zin, Takahide and YamaSho tied for 4th place, with 3 votes each, Shohei is in 5th place with 2 votes, and Takuma is in last place with 0 votes.

Rampage Gold and Rampage Silver got restructured after Dodgeball Kingdom.

Restructured Rampage Gold: Itsuki took 1st place with 9 votes, then YamaSho and Riku tied for 2nd place with 7 votes each, and Shogo and Takahide tied for 3rd place with 5 votes each. Shohei was in 4th place with 3 votes and Takuma got a vote! He's in 5th place, with 1 vote. Likiya is in last place, with 0 votes.

Restructured Rampage Silver: This is one of the closest polls Kazuma was in. Typically, Kazuma wins by roughly double the number of votes 2nd place got, but this one was close. Kazuma took 1st place with 8 votes, Makoto was in 2nd place with 7 votes, and Hokuto is in 3rd place with 6 votes. Kaisei and Ryu tied for 4th place with 4 votes each and Zin and Rui tied for 5th place with 3 votes each. Kenta is in last place, with 2 votes.

Position based questions

Vocalist: Kazuma won 1st place with 17 votes, then Riku was in 2nd with 11, and Hokuto was last, with 9 votes.

Performer: Ryu won 1st place with 6 votes, Shogo 2nd with 5 votes, and YamaSho, Shohei and Itsuki tied for 3rd, with 4 votes each. Kenta and Kaisei tied for 4th, with 3 votes each, Zin and Makoto tied for 5th, with 2 votes each, and Likiya, Rui, Takahide and Takuma tied for last place, with 1 vote each. (Takuma got a vote!)

Favorite leader: Zin won 1st place with 17 votes, Likiya won 2nd place with 12 votes, and YamaSho won 3rd place with 8 votes.*

*Note: I included YamaSho as it seems that, when they need a 3rd leader, they pick up YamaSho, since he was the third team captain in Back to the Roots, he seems to be the one leading Route C when they're together, etc. However, if I bring this question back on a future survey, I don't think I'll be including him as he's not officially a third leader.

MA55IVE: Kenta won with 13 votes, then YamaSho in 2nd place with 8, and Takahide in 3rd with 7. Shohei took 4th with 6 votes and Likiya is in last place, with 3.

BANDAGE*: Itsuki won with 12 votes, but Riku was a close 2nd place, with 11 votes, and Kenta was in 3rd, with 6 votes. Shohei was a close 4th, with 5 votes, and Rui came in last with 3 votes.

*Note: The existence of this question caused some confusion for which I'd like to apologize 😅THE BANDAGE, as far as I'm aware, mainly existed in 2020, where 5 members learned how to play 100degrees together on different instruments - Shohei sang, Riku played keyboard, Itsuki played guitar, Rui played bass and Kenta played drums. Honestly, I don't know if they'll ever come back, but I kinda hope they do. Here's them playing 100degrees together, if you want to see it.

I think sorting them with MA55IVE might've been a mistake, making it seem like it was a subgroup equal to MA55IVE, when it's more of - something they did for, like, 3 CL Live videos. Probably should've included them in the next section instead.

Miscellaneous divisions

High&Low actor: Kazuma took 1st place by nearly four times the number of votes 2nd place got. Kazuma got 19 votes. Ryu, in second place, got 5. Hokuto and Itsuki tied for 3rd, with 3 votes each, and Shogo, Takahide and Makoto tied for 4th. Zin took 5th, with 1 vote. YamaSho and Likiya were both in last place, with 0 votes.

Prince of Legend actor: Kazuma won 1st place with 18 votes, double the number of votes Hokuto got to put him in 2nd place. Hokuto got 9 votes. Makoto is a close 3rd, with 8 votes, and Itsuki is in last place, with 2 votes.

ETERNAL/ETERNAL2: Makoto won 1st place with 8 votes, Riku was a close 2nd with 7 votes, and YamaSho was in 3rd place with 5 votes. Ryu took 4th with 4 votes, Itsuki and Kaisei tied for 5th with 3 votes each, Shogo and Zin tied for 6th with 2 votes each, and Shohei and Takahide tied for 7th with 1 vote each. Takuma is in last place with 0 votes. (this poll only receives 36 responses, instead of the 37)

Excluding Kazuma and Hokuto*: Itsuki took 1st place with 7 votes, Ryu was a close 2nd with 6 votes, and Makoto was in 3rd with 5 votes. Riku took 4th with 4 votes, then Kenta, YamaSho, Shogo and Kaisei tied for 5th with 3 votes, Likiya, Shohei and Takahide tied for 6th with 1 vote each, and Zin, Rui and Takuma were in last place, with 0 votes.

*Note: So I was slightly off on who the most popular members were. I was right about Kazuma, though, and I stand by my decision to exclude him from this specific question. I apparently should've switched Hokuto for Makoto, but no one has a hold on this fandom like Kawamura Kazuma.

Breakdown by member

For this section, I did a few different things. counted how many polls a member was an option in, how many of those polls they actually got a vote in, how many times they were the most popular answer, how many times they were the least popular answer. I also recorded how many votes they got per poll, to see votes on average, and then attempted a ranking on average. That one'll take some explaining.

Average Ranking was calculated using the places I already listed above. For last place, I used the highest possible number for the poll - so for polls with 16 options, last place was given a rank of 16, even if that rank wasn't technically used in my rankings. (for example, for Favorite Overall, due to ties, the lowest number before last place was 5th place, but because Zin, Rui and Takuma got 0 votes, all tying for last places, they were given the rank of 16)

That did drag some people's average rankings higher (as there were questions were there were only 3 options, so last place got a rank of 3rd), so I did actually calculate the average using exclusively the 5 questions where all 16 members were an option.

Because these are averages, they did - for the most part - breakdown into fractions, but since you can't have a fraction of a vote, I rounded to the nearest whole number.

Because the Top 3/4/8 questions allowed for multiple selections, that could drag average votes higher than a normal multiple choice question, so I also calculated the average without those questions.

Final thoughts

When I started this, I was not expecting it to have such a stark, distinct favorite and stark, distinct least favorite. I was expecting it to be a lot more even. The Takuma propaganda train needs to get moving because holy shit, he got buried.

Likiya and Zin in the Bottom 8, I wish I could say I was surprised, I wasn't. While I didn't actually go grab any data from the view counts on individual videos (like the individual My Prayer ones, individual 16boosterz shorts, etc.), I know their numbers tend to drag behind.

Hokuto and Kaisei did significantly worse than expected - I genuinely did not expect Kaisei to end up in the Bottom 8 and I really thought Hokuto would be the second most popular member. The view counts on individual videos is why I am surprised at Hokuto's place - on the Summer Riot short, he has 98k views, and 148k on the 16boosterz.

Riku was a surprise - I genuinely thought he'd be the least popular vocalist. Going back to the YouTube short view counts, Riku has 51k views for 16boosterz and 48k for Summer Riot. Hokuto has more than twice that number.

This was very interesting and thank you so much to everyone who participated.

Bright colors warning for the third image. I would put it front and center because I'm super proud of it, but I figured I should mabye say something just in case.

But anyways, oc time! Ft Uzi’s hand. I wanted to draw Zin since I haven't in a while, and I also wanted to draw Wren, his best friend. She's SD-A's, or otherwise known as Alathea's, adopted daughter in my little future au and the only reason Zin isn't outright failing school. She took after her mom with her love for inventing, and after seeing into the Spider-Verse decided that Dr Octavius's robot arms were super cool and built some for herself with the help of her mom.

And unrelated to MD, I wanted to try my hand at replicating Joy Ang's style with my sona, Scorch. Did not intend for it to be an entire scene, but I think I pulled it off well enough for a first try.

Matron Malice goes to council with Matron Baenre, where it is revealed to her that Matron SiNafay Hun'ett is to join the Do'Urden family under the alias of Shi'nayne - the eldest daughter who has returned from her travels of distant drow city Ched Nasad. After several ten-days pass, Dinin and Briza with a small group of soldiers are searching for Drizzt in the tunnels of the Underdark, so that they can capture and kill him, and regain the favour of the Spider Queen, Lolth.

The family of House Do'Urden gather in the anteroom, where Rizzen is being abused by Matron Malice. They discuss whether or not any of them should go after Drizzt again, Briza and Dinin not being keen at all since their last encounter. Malice hatches an idea, and so a ceremony takes place to bring forth a yochlol (maiden) of Lolth. To please Lolth, Malice has decided to sacrifice Rizzen so that they may regain enough favour to carry out her plans. As the yochlol is called, Malice goes to strike Rizzen but instead murders SiNafay, which gives her enough respect from Lolth to perform Zin-carla, a spell with re-animates the corpse of a single dead person but their mind is controlled mentally through the Matron of the House, a gift only given to complete a specific task. And so to hunt Drizzt, Malice re-animates Zaknafein knowing that he alone can destroy Drizzt.

05. the hierophant : what are your muse’s morals / ethics ? do they follow their moral code strictly ?

he's classed as a true neutral alignment, on a technical level, and that's probably pretty accurate -- i think his moral code is largely driven by what he perceives to be pelor's guidance, understandably due to his oath, with a generous sprinkling of sehanine's wisdom. in faelethris, they are both largely neutral entities (iirc, subject to DM correction if i'm off kilter) whose domains don't adhere to any kind of morality in the traditional sense. you probably wouldn't win mio over by playing to any guilt derived from his apathy, in the same way that you wouldn't really gain anything from making him feel like a bastion of moral principle. he truly doesn't care; pelor's goals and his own goals always outrank other people's.

also, i've spoken about it before, but there's a lot of imagery around the sun in mio's life and it's intentional for several reasons, but specifically one of those reasons is that the sun itself is a neutral body. it's just a star. it has no bearing on what it's doing to our world, but our world thrives on it as much as it has to survive under it. that's kind of the position of the king in akhenaton, in a sense.

tl;dr he's not all bad, but he's really not all good either.

12. the hanged man : how open is your muse to new opportunities ? do they constantly look for them or do they simply take whatever comes their way ?

mio enjoys making connections that could lead to opportunities. there's a reason he defaults to charm and platitudes with most new people, and it's because he never wants to close the door on a potential ally that could owe him a favour. it's a habit he learned from his upbringing for sure, following his father in matters of court and council only opened his eyes to the opportunities that could come his way if he just made the right impression.

i don't think i could say he actively seeks them out, but if he gets wind of connections or alliances that could prove beneficial, he will try to pursue them. i think it's probably a part of his newfound friendship with zin, in all honesty -- which i love. he does genuinely enjoy their company, i have to say, but i think seeing the feywild and seeing zin's real influence definitely had a factor in that shift for mio.

15. the devil : is your muse addicted to any substances ? is there anything that could possibly make them quit ?

money??? fame???? adoration????? he would never give that up actually im sorry

i do have an idea what would be a worst-case ever scenario for mio that would absolutely derail him and send him into a spiral of insane transformation where he abandons these things but i don't want to accidentally manifest it so it's staying in my head

18. the moon : what does your muse long for ? is it a realistic desire ?

THIS IS COMPLEX.

i think more and more he's seeing himself as a suitable replacement for khenum on the throne, but he's definitely viewing it in a way that's like "i'm saving him by taking his place which i was meant to do, and he can live whatever life he wants" which, yk, in itself is not a terrible concept but i do not for one second believe akhen's troubles are going to be resolved so simply, let alone khenum's.

in any case he wants to go home, and he wants 'home' to be what he remembers it being. how realistic is that? i have no idea, but mio would do anything to get it to that point. he's thinking of a future for the first time in a long time, one that extends beyond 'go home' -- it's about what he'll do there, how he'll fit in, and the duty of blood that comes with his lineage.

11. justice : does your muse find it easy to be impartial in emotional situations ?

he's pretty fuelled by emotion - we joke that he should be a barbarian because nearly all of his emotions inevitably get funnelled into rage which he takes out in pitfights, bloodbaths, and various other morbid means of therapy. so he definitely finds it hard to be impartial and it's very much why he does not do the talking in the group unless it's specifically to bite somebody's head off for looking at his friend the wrong way.

21. the world : is there one thing in life that your muse must accomplish ? what will they do when they complete that goal ?

not a mcfucking clue my dude he's an aimless ball of buried emotions with 398475349 axes at his disposal and the one thing keeping him going is the notion that there will be an end to it all and it will be glorious

Maandag 5 september: Andiamo!

Van Rome naar Marseille, naar Port Napoleon…

We worden allerhartelijkst uitgezwaaid door Kailesh! Hij heeft het afgelopen jaar écht een oogje in t zeil gehouden samen met Dr. Alberto.

Het is in alle opzichten een goede overwinteringshaven gebleken voor ons. De eerste stop is de dieselpomp bij Porto Romano, halverwege de Tiber op weg naar de ingang van de rivier. We tanken 100l bij, daar kunnen we voorlopig mee vooruit… Eenmaal op open water de zeilen gehesen.

Altijd even spannend of alle lijnen in één keer goed zullen zitten, en ja! En... of de kapitein het in een keer omhoog krijgt. Daar kan geen sportschool tegenop...

We zijn op weg naar Santa Marinella, 30 mijl noordelijker. We hebben kunnen zeilen, motoren en uiteindelijk weer zeilen, tot bijna 8 knts. De Dutchess en wij kunnen het nog… Bij aankomst blijkt de haven te klein voor ons en dus wordt het buiten ankeren met een beetje deining…!

Dinsdag 6 september - donderdag 8 september

De vrijheid die ankeren je geeft is niet te omschrijven. Niemand om je heen behalve ‘s morgens een paar vissersboten, zwemmen in je nixie, buiten douchen en ontbijten met zicht op ‘t strand en de wijdsheid van ‘t water… Om 10.00 uur anker op en met de wind van achteren en een uitgeboomde fok richting Porto Ercole. Later met de wind die ruimde de Code 0 gehesen en de Dutchess heeft het bepaald naar haar zin, loopt tot 8 knts. Porto Ercole is een vriendelijke, bijzonder rustige vakantieplaats waar onze koninklijke familie vroeger een huis bezat. Alles behalve mondain en we vroegen ons af hoe Prins Bernard zich hier amuseerde… De weersverwachting is onzeker en onvast voor de komende dagen. In de Ligurische zee wordt stormachtig weer verwacht. Nu verder varen levert weinig en het bevalt ons hier. Dus we besluiten te blijven wachten. Twee rustige dagen met wandelingetjes om de berg heen naar het dorp voor wat proviand (die later nog van pas blijkt te komen). Twee jongens van de buurboot komen helpen om een bakstag te bevrijden. Die had zich vastgewerkt om de radardome en de mastlichten.

Vrijdag 9 - Dinsdag 13 september

De weersverwachting is gunstig om te gaan. Wij hebben nog niet besloten hóe we Marseille zullen gaan bereiken. Er zijn twee mogelijkheden. Of de Italiaans/Franse kustlijn volgen met nog heel wat stops. Of oversteken naar Elba en dan een oversteek via noord Corsica naar het Franse vaste land, met twee langere trajecten die vermoedelijk niet in één dag te doen zijn. We besluiten t weerbericht (Windy) heel goed in de gaten te blijven houden en naar Punta Ala, ca. 40 NM naar t noorden te varen. Daarmee kunnen we een beslissing nog even uitstellen. Daar doorheen speelt dat dit onze laatste tocht is en dat maakt de keuzes om allerlei redenen ook weer anders. Het eerste stuk géén wind. Dat is vaker zó. Rond het middaguur trekt de wind aan. Uiteindelijk wind tot 18 knts. De Code O bewijst opnieuw zijn grote verdienste. Een groot zeiloppervlak en heel gemakkelijk in en uit te rollen. Eerst gezeild met de motor erbij, later was dat niet meer nodig. Mooie zeildag! Onze reservering bleek niet geregistreerd maar gelukkig was er toch plek. Matig geholpen bij lastig aanleggen met stevige zijwind. Terwijl wij nog bezig zijn met vastmaken, besluit een Italiaanse charterboot met Polen direct naast ons aan te leggen. Zij verliezen de controle en raken ons aan de zijkant, gelukkig viel de schade achteraf mee. Wat helemaal niet meeviel is dat zij zich later gedroegen alsof er niets gebeurd was. Geen enkel excuus en alleen maar ordinair gekijf. Ontkenning lukte niet écht want het blauw van onze gelcoat zat op hun witte schip… Jammer want zo zou het niet moeten gaan. En of wij t nog gaan claimen bij de verzekering van de chartermaatschappij is erg de vraag.

Op zaterdag 10 september verlaten we deze haven keurig om 9.00 uur, deze keer met een zetje van de marinero op ons verzoek. Op naar Zuid Elba naar de Golfo della Lacona, dat is alvast een beslissing. Mooi voor de wind gezeild, weer met uitgeboomde fok… Allemaal fotogenieke momenten worden ons gegund. De kust is schitterend mooi en het weer ook. Volop genieten dus. Later bakstagwind, tot 15 knts. Fok verwisseld voor Code 0 en later weer terug. Het laatste half uur nog één keer uitgeboomd!!!

Om 13.45 gooien we ons anker uit in de middelste van de drie baaien, naast de Golfo del Campo waar we op de heenweg waren om Ien Fürstner te ontmoeten. Na ons gooien nog een paar schepen om ons heen hun anker uit. Een hele grote baai maar schepen hebben vaak de neiging dichtbij elkaar te kruipen. De wind is nog niet helemaal weg maar de verwachting is dat dat wel gaat gebeuren. Een beetje deining zal wel blijven. Toch blijft het opletten bij ankeren, dat is ook onze eerdere ervaring. Om 16.30 komt er ineens toch nog wat wind over de bergen vanaf de kust onze kant op. De mooie buurjongens met een 50 ft jacht schuiven gevaarlijk dicht onze kant op. Zij begrijpen het spel en besluiten een stukje verderop opnieuw hun anker uit te gooien. Het wordt een rustige nacht met een beetje schommelen en af en toe checken of we nog op dezelfde plaats liggen.

Op zondag 11 september geniet ik van een schitterende stille zonsopkomst. Wat een cadeautje !! Om 9.30 gaat het anker op en we besluiten richting Corsica (Maginaccio) te varen en onderweg te kiezen of we wél of niet zullen doorvaren.

Steven helpt op afstand met informatie over de havens in Antibes en omgeving. Het weerbericht is gunstig dus we besluiten door te varen en Corsica van afstand te bekijken! Een prima nacht en tocht begeleid door een bijna volle maan. Vanaf 4 uur ‘s middags gaat de motor aan, maar na ronding van Cap Corse kunnen we toch nog een paar uur zeilen met een beetje motor erbij.

Mooi avondlicht... vanuit voorluik en aan bakboord! Zicht op Frankrijk...

Als de avond valt, valt ook de wind weg en gaan de zeilen eraf. Zo tjoeken wij met plm. 6 knts richting Franse Riviera. Niets zo veranderlijk als het weer. Het kan hier stevig poeieren maar nu geen aasje wind…

De Franse vlag kan gehesen ... (een beetje te laat...!!!)

Op maandag 12 september komen wij om 13.15 uur aan in de haven van Antibes. Ongelooflijk schouwspel van megajachten en motorboten met verdiepingen…Telefonische en email contacten leverden niks op. Dus maar proberen. Helaas….zonder reservering ben je hier niet welkom. Ook niet bij de buren. Bij de haven lagen wel een paar zeilschepen voor anker, wij hebben ons daar ook bijgevoegd. Palaver en weerbericht bekeken en onze knopen geteld. We gaan in één keer door naar Marseille. Dat vergde even een mentale aanpassing maar die is snel gemaakt! Zwemmen, lunchen, koken, lampje vervangen van het vaarlicht, nog een beetje meer diesel tanken en we verlaten deze Riviera. Om 15.45 gaan we vol goede moed ons laatste traject tegemoet. Na een een paar uur zeilen gaat de motor erbij. Om 21.00 uur de zeilen gestreken en met wind van achteren richting Port Napoleon. Nog steeds bijgelicht door de maan, dat helpt in een donkere nacht. Af en toe een tegenligger. Het blijft opletten, vooral bij de toegangsroute naar de haven van Marseille, maar met behulp van AIS gaat het prima. Ter hoogte van de stad Marseille is het ineens heel druk op het water, wij moeten nog een stukje verder.

Op dinsdag 13 september leggen wij aan in de haven Port Napoleon. Een lange route naar binnen. Het aanleggen was een beetje rommelig met onverwachte ondiepte en weinig ruimte. Gelukkig: behulpzame zeilers kwamen te hulp schieten. Eind goed al goed: keurig vast. Vandaag 14 september waait het de hele dag al plm 30 knts, dus wij zijn heel blij dat we hebben doorgezet.

Nu opruimen en de Dutchess voorbereiden voor vertrek over de weg. Althans ons deel.

Nog een paar foto's gemaakt voor de boeken van de plank gaan en we de kussens gebruiken om in de kastjes te stoppen...

Voor de mast etc, die eraf moet, krijgen we hulp. Van de Wetering uit Loosdrecht zorgt voor het transport.

Wij hebben samen enorm veel avonturen beleefd op en vanuit de Dutchess op veel plaatsen. En ook met anderen.

Wat een rijke ervaring waar wij heel erg blij mee zijn en natuurlijk ook dankbaar dat t zo goed gegaan is.

19.208 mijl verder… daar drinken we op met nog Whisky uit Schotland... !

En deze Scandinavische dolfijn heeft een oogje in het zeil gehouden!!!

Deep Reading van het Visiestuk van Pieter Omtzigt

Pieter Omtzigt – wij kennen hem uit de media als het individuele geweten van het Nederlands parlement. Sinds zijn vertrek bij CDA hangt het aura rond hem van compromisloze integriteit. Hij is bekend vanwege zijn grondige dossierwerk en deze week drong hij er bij zijn collega-Kamerleden op aan om het stikstof dossier serieuzer te nemen. Zijn gedachten hierover zette hij op papier. Snijdt het hout? Tijd voor wat deep reading en analyse van dr. Sid. De geciteerde tekst is van Omtzigt en is weergegeven zonder weglatingen.

Er is al bijna een week een mailwisseling aan de gang of de Kamer terug moet komen van reces vanwege stikstof. Een meerderheid in de Kamer heeft aangeven een schriftelijk overleg te willen. Dit was vandaag mijn antwoord.

Beste collega’s,

De berichten in deze gedachtewisseling stemmen mij niet vrolijk.

Vlak voor het reces hebben de regeringspartijen vier weken onderhandeld over de stikstofbrieven (en een kaart) die daarna in 2,5 week door de Kamer gejaagd zijn. Er was geen sprake van een zorgvuldig proces, geen sprake van hoorzittingen met experts, natuurorganisaties of boeren. Er waren geen beslismemo’s of uitvoeringstoetsen. Er zat geen begroting bij en het was onduidelijk hoeveel boeren geraakt zouden worden.

Verbaast dit Omtzigt nog steeds? Het is inmiddels gebruikelijk dat gevoelige dossiers pas op het allerlaatst naar het parlement komen, Of soms helemaal niet (zie de vragen van Pepijn van Houwelingen aan Jaap van Dissel), of soms precies op een feestdag, zodat de aandacht van de Kamerleden en de rest van het land is afgeleid. Daarover heeft hij zelf geklaagd toen hij uitriep: “Ik kan beter journalist worden!” Toenmalig Kamervoorzitter Arib stelde al in april 2018 dat het kabinet de media dikwijls eerder informeert dan de gekozen volksvertegenwoordigers.

Oftewel, I feel your pain, maar ten eerste zou dit je niet moeten verrassen, en ten tweede is het uiterst naïef om te denken dat ‘jezelf nog maar eens boos maken als Kamerlid’ ook maar iets aan deze praktijk verandert.

Naar aanleiding van onze Kamervragen gaf de regering klip en klaar toe dat er hele plannen gebaseerd zijn op een toekomstige wetswijziging. Prof. Paul Bovend’Eert was daarover zeer duidelijk: de ministers dreigen maatregelen in te voeren die op dit moment strijdig zijn met de wet.

Oftewel, de uitvoerende macht rolt een beleid uit dat nog niet is verankerd in de wet. Een beetje bestuurder zou nu concluderen, ‘dit voeren we niet uit, want er is geen basis voor’. Maar natúúrlijk rollen ze dit beleid uit, want ze willen op goede voet blijven met de andere machthebbers. Ze kijken naar hun carrière, naar hun bestuurlijke toekomstperspectieven. Dit verklaart waarom zelfs burgemeesters en gedeputeerden blijven meewerken aan dit beleid, ook al weten ze dat het strikt genomen niet binnen de wet ligt.

We weten dat de ministeries beleid voeren dat niet rijmt met de wet. Maar wie bepaalt nu wie er aan het langste eind trekt? Of het ministerie zijn zin krijgt of de wetgever, bepaalt de zwaardmacht. Dit komt neer op degene die in de praktijk het pistool vasthoudt. De politie en het leger besluiten uiteindelijk – niet de regering, noch de parlementariërs. Is het, vanuit zijn eigen logica redenerend, niet logischer als Omtzigt bij de handhavers verhaal haalt – en eventueel hen tot actie beweegt? In plaats van tegen dovemans oren te blijven oreren in de Kamer…

Maar het werd nog bizarder: uit de memo’s die minister Kaag naar de Kamer stuurde bleek het effect van het voorgestelde beleid te zijn: 11.200 boerenbedrijven moeten stoppen, 17.600 boerenbedrijven moeten fors inkrimpen en het kost maximaal 42 miljard euro. Deze cijfers zijn essentieel, maar kwamen pas in het reces naar de Kamer.

Een paar dagen geleden stuurde minister Van der Wal nog een TNO-rapport uit april (!) naar de Kamer waaruit blijkt dat de heel erg strakke 0,05 mol norm vaak opgaat in de modelruis. TNO adviseert een norm van 1-10 mol. Dat heeft enorm grote gevolgen voor bouwprojecten en PAS-melders. Veel bouwprojecten en PAS-melders zouden dan veel baat hebben bij het onafhankelijke TNO-onderzoek. Het kabinet hield het eerst maanden geheim en legt het nu naast zich neer.

Het was echt beter geweest om dit rapport in april of mei te ontvangen.

De verontwaardiging die Kamerleden tonen over deze feiten is een signaal naar hun achterban: ‘Kijk eens! Ik vecht voor jullie belangen!’ Dat moet ook, dat hoort bij het spel, ik snap het helemaal. Maar wij weten dat achter de schermen alles al is bedisseld.

Zie immers hoe Rutte en Van der Wal recentelijk reageerden toen een motie tot wijzigen van het stikstofbeleid onverwacht werd aangenomen door het VVD-partijcongres. Ze stelden openlijk: “Doen we niks mee, en wie boos blijft zegt beter het partijlidmaatschap op.” Het is precies wat Freek Jansen al zei: het masker van de macht valt af nu ze zich ter legitimatie van hun besluiten beroepen op niets anders dan hun macht. Niet voor niets hebben ze bij de VVD het ideologische karakter van partijcongressen vervangen door bier, bitterballen en ‘stand up politics’. Zoiets doe je alleen als je meent dat alles al ‘in kannen en kruiken’ is.

Toen de staat besloot de mijnen te sluiten in Limburg, ging minister Den Uyl naar Limburg om dat aan te kondigen. Er was een plan om dat in 10 jaar te doen, er waren werkgelegenheidsinitiatieven met het doel perspectief te scheppen voor mijnwerkers (ook al lukte dat niet altijd goed). En de Kamer richtte een aparte commissie op. Hoe anders gaat het nu met het open zijn over de gevolgen! Er is geen verhaal over het waarom van de operatie, geen openheid over de consequenties (nou ja, in het reces een beetje). Iedereen die iets weet van de ingrijpende gevolgen voor mijnwerkers of (een iets kleinere schaal) de ingrijpende gevolgen voor de nertsenfokkers, begrijpt de spanning en de totale afwezigheid van de politiek en het wantrouwen in een deel van Nederland.

Destijds waren politieke partijen nog geworteld in ideologie en een duidelijke achterban. Vandaag is het puur spindoctors die stemmersprofielen uitpeilen via algoritmes en consumentendata op postcode niveau, uitmondend in politieke ‘catch all’ strategieën die zich richten op zwevende kiezers. Helaas belonen kiezers dit want stembusuitslagen bewijzen voortdurend hun gebrekkige geheugens. Typisch wel voor een volk met een bijpassende premier.

Stel we nemen dit voorstel serieus: er moet een “verhaal” komen, er moet openheid zijn. In gesprek gaan zodat belanghebbenden zich weer gehoord voelen. Een journalist stelde dit ook al voor: stikstof en corona hebben de samenleving economisch onder hoogspanning gezet (nog even los van het negeren van referenda uitslagen, energiearmoede en een slepende massa-immigratie die al decennia oorzaak is van onbehagen, achteruitgang en geweld). Nu is het tijd om met gesprekken de kloof te dichten tussen burgers en bestuurders.

Heeft het zin voor deze mensen om te gaan praten met karakters als Mark Rutte, Ursula von der Leyen, Frans Timmermans en noem ze maar op? Dan zit daar de elite met hun smartwatches en gladgestreken pakken – gestrest en gemaakt vriendelijk omdat ze om 15 uur weer in Londen, Warschau en New York moeten zijn. Zij luisteren symbolisch tijdens een persmomentje naar een tante Truus die gefrustreerd is omdat ze van haar uitkering niet rondkomt en de talen niet verstaat waarin haar buren en overburen spreken. Zal dit zin hebben? Brengt dit gesprek iets teweeg? De vraag stellen is hem beantwoorden.

Zouden boeren zich werkelijk meer gehoord weten wanneer technocraten in pakken met rekenmodellen op iPads in de hand, hen gaan uitleggen dat ze vanwege de stikstofoutput met hun bedrijf moeten stoppen? Natúúrlijk wil de boer zich niet overgeven op grond van een “verhaal” of “openheid”. Zij blijven zich verbonden voelen met de grond en het ambacht dat zij van hun ouders en grootouders hebben overgenomen, verankerd in het landschap en het ritme van het boerenbestaan.

Wie de grafieken bekijkt, ziet dat de boeren al decennialang de stikstof uitstoot keurig afbouwen. De rest van de wereld komt naar Nederland om te bewonderen hoe milieuvriendelijk en efficiënt de landbouw hier opereert. Als je halverwege dit proces ‘ineens’ ontdekt dat boeren moeten stoppen, dan stinkt het. Pieter en ik zijn het hier vast over eens!

Het geheel wordt gepresenteerd als de onontkoombare uitkomst van Europese regels en modellen. Maar zelfs de stukken van de regering laten zien dat dit niet zo is: bij natuurgebieden in de grensregio’s is er totaal geen gezamenlijk beleid. Aan de Duitse kant worden nieuwe varkensstallen gebouwd en aan de Nederlandse kant moeten boeren stoppen om maar een voorbeeld te noemen. Bovendien bevat het model grote onderzekerheden en ontneemt het model het zicht aan politieke keuzes.

Omtzigt klaagt over ‘papieren werkelijkheid’ – maar sowieso is Natura 2000, als grondslag van het stikstofbeleid, een papieren werkelijkheid. Nederland moest van de EU ‘Natura 2000’ gebieden aanwijzen en heeft dit ook gedaan. Ze zijn echter in smalle en onpraktische strookjes opgeknipt. In het dorp Vaassen is bijvoorbeeld de oever van een beekje aangewezen als zo’n gebied – dat even streng beschermd wordt als de Serengeti – maar even verderop stroomt het beekje het dorp weer uit en mag alles weer. Het toont openlijk hoe het stikstofverhaal alleen maar op papier bestaat.

Ondertussen zijn de regering en de regeringspartijen vrijwel afwezig in het debat hierover. Naar aanleiding van een aantal acties die duidelijk gevaarlijke situaties voor het verkeer opleverden, volgden een paar tweets van kabinetsleden en Kamerleden. Hetzelfde gebeurde toen collega Caroline van der Plas ernstig bedreigd werd.

Maar een land bestuur je niet met tweets.

Pieter Omtzigt geeft ons een mededeling die erop neerkomt dat hij klaagt over anderen die niet regeren of besturen maar klagen per tweet. Ook Pieter komt dus niet verder dan op papier – of zelfs puur digitaal – klagen dat de papieren werkelijkheid niet meer rijmt met wat zich afspeelt op straat. Eerst zegt hij dat hij journalist wil worden – kan hij dan, in deze lijn doorredenerend, niet beter zelf handhaver worden? Want kennelijk helpt al dat boze brieven schrijven en Kamervragen stellen niets! Sterker nog, nu Omtzigt een eenmansfractie is, kan men hem straffeloos negeren. Binnen het CDA kon hij misschien nog de partijleiding chanteren met de dreiging dat hij sommige Kamerleden bij opstappen zou meenemen. Nu speelt hij helaas – in de praktische zin van machtspolitiek – niets klaar.

Dat kan ook van ondergetekende gezegd worden – ook ík schrijf boeken en maak mensen wakker; ik produceer kritische stukken en geef feedback aan Kamerleden. Maar ik krijg niet die zesduizend euro per maand die ze in Den Haag wel vangen, voor feitelijk hetzelfde werk! Namelijk beeldvorming, rapportage, berichtgeving. Meer dan dit is Kamerwerk niet meer. De parlementaire controle is totáál tandeloos en de machthebber verkneukelt zich over de machteloosheid van de volksvertegenwoordiging – zie de eerdere getuigenisverklaring van Freek Jansen.

Tot Kamervragen leidde het nauwelijks. En een debat is niet nodig volgens een meerderheid. Dat is werkelijk bizar en volstrekt niet uit te leggen. We weten niet eens welke effecten de ministers van Landbouw en Stikstof voorzien hebben bij hun beleid. En waarom zij kozen voor een optie met heel veel stoppende boeren en waarom zij dat geheimhielden. Hun memo’s moeten nog openbaar gemaakt worden. Terwijl er dus ook een variant is die veel minder dan de helft kost, de nieuwe doelen van de regering haalt en waarbij 5200 boerenbedrijven geraakt worden (en dus niet 28.000). Die getallen worden na de besluitvorming gemeld, omdat ze niet geverifieerd zouden zijn.

En voor de goede orde: die maximaal 42 miljard euro is bijna 2.500 euro per inwoner van Nederland. Het kabinet had ervoor kunnen kiezen om niet alleen huishoudens op of vlak boven het bijstandsniveau eenmalig 1300 euro energietoeslag te geven. Met dit geld hadden alle huishoudens van Nederland 4 jaar lang die toeslag van netto 1300 euro kunnen ontvangen: het is echt serieus veel geld midden in een bestaanszekerheidscrisis, waarin miljoenen huishoudens grote problemen hebben door de inflatie, veroorzaakt door de peperdure energie en de stijgende voedselprijzen.

Omtzigt jongen, je kunt het stikstofbeleid uitsluitend doorgronden in samenhang met het onderliggende technocratisch-utopistische wereldbeeld. Kijk, politici kunnen wel met de feiten die je noemt aan de slag gaan en daar een punt van maken, maar je moet ook denken in hún belang. Dan snap je de gang van zaken in het parlement beter!

Kamerleden en bestuurders staat hier voor een fundamentele keuze: of je wil ‘mee blijven doen’ – lees, op goede voet staan met de Bill Gatesen, de Klaus Schwabs en Ursula von der Leyens van deze wereld. Dan moet je beslist mee in dit verhaal van – uiteindelijk –sprinkhanen eten, het klimaat redden door onze welvaart op te offeren, de bewegingen van burgers verder controleren via CO2 budgetten. Wil je niet meedoen, dan zul je worden zoals vandaag Viktor Orbán en eerder Matteo Salvini. Een paria in het kosmopolitische bestuurderscircuit, in de media afgeschilderd als een fascistische hufter, qua loopbaan op een dood spoor. Wél geliefd door het volk, maar daar koop je weinig voor. De politicus weet als geen ander: het volk vergeet snel.

Het stikstofbeleid volgt, zoals je al eerder vaststelde, puur wettelijk gezien inderdaad geen logica. Het is niet te begrijpen door het te bestuderen als geïsoleerd beleidsmatig fenomeen – hier hangt een institutioneel netwerk aan vast, internationaal vertakt ook nog. Het steunt op een overkoepelende wereldbeschouwing.

Volgens mij is een debat hard nodig in deze omstandigheden, al is het alleen maar om duidelijk te horen van de regering en de regeringspartijen waarom zij deze keuzes maken en waarom de regering deze informatie over de gevolgen van keuzes niet deelde.

Een waaier aan politieke keuzes voorhouden, suggereert dat er opties zijn, dat er verschillende paden zijn. Maar hoe reëel is het wat Omtzigt hier stelt? Als je een toespraak van Rutte terugluistert bij het World Economic Forum van een jaar geleden, dan spreekt hij daar al over opschaling en food hubs. En al die Urgenda gerelateerde uitspraken, leiden ook terug naar actieclubjes zoals die van Johan Vollenbroek, VN-doelstellingen en besluiten van de Raad van State. De kiezer komt er al heel lang niet meer aan te pas – denk ook gerust terug aan de Klimaatwet die versneld door de Eerste Kamer werd geloodst één dag voordat de nieuwe senaat aantrad, hoewel die wet inzet van de Provinciale Statenverkiezing was geweest. Feitelijk stond die dag al vast dat FvD zou worden uitgesloten, los van wat Thierry Baudet en Henk Otten verder zouden doen. Gaaf hè? Dat noemen wij nu ‘democratie’!

Het beleid is kortom het product van machten die parallel hun ding doen naast de gekozen volksvertegenwoordigers, en daar gemakkelijk omheen werken. Zeg maar net zoals immigratie, dat ook gestaag doorgaat ondanks dat partijen zoals VVD en CDA daar al decennia in theorie op tegen zijn. “Immigratie is ons overkomen”, aldus ex-minister Henk Kamp. Voorstikstof geldt precies hetzelfde!

En hoe we ervoor zorgen dat de protesten binnen de grenzen van de wet plaatsvinden en mensen niet in gevaar gebracht worden met rechtsstaat ondermijnende acties. Want dat is een serieus probleem in de rechtsstaat: zelfs het beschermen van mensen die de weg veilig moeten maken, lukt niet meer. Ook hier werkt regeren per tweet echt niet en handhaven wel.

Tsja, handhaving… Is de handhaver nog wel bereid tot handhaving? Is die niet gedemoraliseerd na jarenlang toe te kijken hoe de criminele immigrant die ze ’s ochtends oppakken, in de avond weer op straat loopt? Na het moeten neerknuppelen van vreedzaam protesterende opa’s bij corona demonstraties? Na het elke dag beschuldigd worden van institutioneel racisme?

Meer geweld en repressie vanuit de staat, lokt evenredig veel tegenreacties uit. Van mensen die door stevige inflatie en peperdure energierekeningen toch niets meer te verliezen hebben, en op de koop toe uit hun eigen boerenbedrijf worden onteigend. Wordt een prachtig schouwspel!

Zonder politiek debat, hoorzittingen en perspectief zal het hele stikstof-conflict zich blijvend verplaatsen naar de straat en naar de rechtbank. Daarmee hollen wij ons eigen democratisch bestel uit. Over kernpunten van het beleid en van het functioneren van de staat dient de Kamer ervoor te zorgen dat de regering verantwoording aflegt waar dat hoort: in de Staten-Generaal.

Die verplaatsing heeft zich reeds voltrokken. Been there, done that, now what. Je zit er nog voor de vorm en ik bewonder je ijver, Pieter, dat je het toch maar blijft doen. Voor de vorm, welteverstaan. Klasse!

Dus ik doe een dringend verzoek aan die partijen die eerst een Schriftelijk Overleg willen: vraag het nu maandagmorgen met een meerderheid ook formeel aan (als afsplitser mag ik dat niet en dat is een probleem voor een andere keer). Zorg voor een snelle inbrengdatum de komende week, vertel waarom je dit beleid wel of niet steunt en wat je van de informatievoorziening vindt en laten we beantwoording vragen voor 15 augustus.

Helaas, inderdaad, als afsplitser zijn hem rechten ontnomen, zie mijn eerdere punt over de breuk met het CDA. Je moet de man toch bewonderen dat hij zich blijft inzetten – van neem nu Johan Houwers hoorden we na zijn afsplitsing niets meer!

En wees bereid om daarna dan ook het debat aan te gaan in de Kamer, want dit gaat echt ergens over: over de keuzes omtrent de voedselvoorziening bijvoorbeeld. Met Caroline van der Plas stelde ik een debat in de week van 15 augustus voor. Eerder mag natuurlijk ook, maar vanaf 15 augustus zijn alle ministers en veel Kamerleden terug van vakantie – het kabinet heeft overigens zelf maar ongeveer vier weken geen ministerraad dus die vakantieperiode is ook niet excessief lang en daar hielden we rekening mee.
