Pensando en lwa x pokemon, hice unos dibujos de Diana junto a Salamance y Gardevoir ya que pensé que era más apropiado, sobre todo con Salamance ya que su fase inicial Bagon es incapaz de volar a pesar de eso sigue intentando y me recordó a las prácticas de magia fallida de Diana chiquita, su pre evolución Shelgon esta envuelta en hierro una simbología a la coraza que empezó a crear Diana y luego Salamance un Pokémon espectacular capaz ya de volar, entonces una metáfora a como Diana se volvía experta en la magia y en este au en combates Pokémon pero nadie vio el sacrificio que ella hizo para ser la mejor, nadie la vio cuando no tenía potencial, entonces así quedó:
Thinking about lwa x pokemon, I did some doodles with Diana with Salamance and Gardevoir because I thought that they fit better, specially Salamance because it's inicial state Bagon hopes to fly but it's unable to but didn't give up, reminded me of the failed attempts to do magic by little Diana, Shelgon is covered in a hard sheld of iron somewhat similar that Diana did to protect herself, and there is Salamance a spectacular pokemon able to fly now, and is a metaphor for Diana becoming an expert in magic or in this case pokemon battles but nobody has seen her trying to become that, an excellent trainer, nobody saw her when she lacked potential, so yeah here:

At that moment, there was smtg along the lines of "to hell with throwing up, you were going straight to an early death"... lemme tell you I burst out laughing at that part but that is literally an undescribable feeling that you just described. I was so into the story that my mind was automatically reading all the dialogues in a British accent (idk why either😂)... love all the details especially cheol's painting at last (also, a question: is this a description of an actual picture or did you come up with it yourself, either way you're talented coz I know I can't even describe food that way😂)

I’m so glad u enjoyed the paintings !! Most of them were from my own imagination but the last painting actually was inspired from a cast of a sculpture I saw in a gallery !! It is called Lorenzo de Medici, Duke of Urbino by Michelangelo and when I saw the pose my mind IMMEDIATELY went to Venetian general! Cheol 🫨🫨

Feriado 16 de septiembre.
El proyecto para decretar feriado el 16 de septiembre había tomado fuerza en las últimas semanas y finalmente recibió el apoyo esperado en el Congreso. La Cámara de Diputados aprobó la iniciativa y el Senado entregó el respaldo final.
Este miércoles la Sala de la Cámara Alta despachó “el proyecto de ley que declara feriado nacional el 16 de septiembre del 2022 y queda listo para ser ley”, según publicó el Gobierno de Chile a través de redes sociales.
La idea pasó por las Comisiones de Hacienda y Trabajo del Senado, que trabajó en conjunto. Allí, donde se especificó que el feriado será irrenunciable, se aprobó por unanimidad.

I couldn't think of anything to post for TDOV yesterday but this morning i remembered that i dont think i've ever shared this commission I had made by my friend Nessie before ? Hopefully not, anyways, happy (late) trans day of visibility : )
basically the story behind it is that a week before i came home from my first year of college, i was debating wether to come out as trans to my friends or not when i came back, and then that night i had a dream that i was in the appartment in quebec city that my friend darlyne (on the couch) and i always talked about living together in, and that I was nervously injecting my first dose of T with her watching me, amused, proud.
When i woke up my heart felt so full of hope and i hopped on my computer and began writing the email i would later send to them as my coming out. A few weeks after I'd come home, and sent the email, and everything had gone so much better than i expected, I asked Ness if she could draw the dream for me, so i could hang it on my wall as both the start and the goal of it all.
