Prima di arrivare a teatro avevo appuntamento con Mohamed nel parcheggio che divide le nostre case. Gli ho stampato un documento per suo cognato e gli ho chiesto com'è andato questo Ramadan. È stato un espediente banale per non fargli sentire l'amaro di queste zone, un po' come i dolcetti marocchini che prepara sua moglie per accorciare le distanze con casa.

Lo spettacolo verteva sulla ricerca svolta dalla regista nei centri ricreativi per anziani di Milano. Storie di solitudini, di ballerin* improvvisat* alla soglia degli 80 anni per raccimolare una mano appoggiata sulla schiena e di piccoli inaspettati brividi sulla pelle. Cos'è la compagnia quando hai già perso tutto?

Lo spettacolo si è concluso con un ballo collettivo e struggente sulle note di Leonard Coehn.

Tornando a casa ho visto diverse famiglie musulmane accompagnare alle auto cariche di valigie i parenti venuti da fuori per fare il Ramadan assieme.
