Ok this might be one of my favorite edits of anything EVER.

The Princess Diaries movies are a rare case of me actually liking Mia with both Michael and Nicholas (as always, I‘m a sucker for friends-to-lovers and enemies-to lovers), but I think we can all agree that the main romance of these movies were Clarisse and Joe.

Good god, I love these two (and I will note that my grandpa has cried watching them together in these movies multiple times, so even a former military man well into retirement age isn‘t immune to a good ship) and this edit is just everything, full credit to krissiestreep on Instagram.

The Prince’s Diaries: A Harringroveson Story

Pairing: Eddie x Steve x Billy

Summary: Steve, a reserved high school senior, is visited by his mysterious aunt and is given the most shocking news imaginable. Dowager Haruto X Chief Garak would be a great ship. Hear me out:

1) Saphic MILFs

2) No teenage youthful drama, no coming of age first time nonsense, just late middle aged adults who know their place in the world and are making mature choices. With a LITTLE bit of silliness on the side.

3) Two potential options for Backstory "We were almost lovers and there's always been SOMETHING between us but I was always focussed so much on my studies and my career and you went off and married the King instead" OR "We've been aquatinted for so long, but only as Queen & Chief Herbalist. However it's only now that Shirayuki/Ryu has taken the load from me and Izana/Zen the load from you that we're able to properly meet and find love together"

4) "CHIEF GARAK DID YOU FUCK MY MUM?!"

5) That moment where they swap from referring to each other by title to first name? Unparalleled.

6) Opportunity for Lord Haruka to get redemption as he finds ways for them to be together because now that the Dowager has passed on her duties she should be allowed to explore new relationships! It is time his old friend found love again, and had some proper, quiet fun. So long as it does not disturb the Chief's work.

7) The ghost of Kain rising up to tell Haruto that she is ALLOWED to move on and get some of that pussy.

8) DRUNKEN SHENANIGANS! But make it Middle Aged! Yes there is a difference between Early 20s Shenanigans and Early 50s Shenanigans and they're BOTH fun to write!

9) Potential for that Princess Diaries moment with Queen Clarisse and Joe where the whole kingdom has been shipping it for years and FINALLY! FINALLY OMG! You're FINALLY getting together and confessing the love that has always been there!!!!

10) Garak having a "I won't say I'm in love" moment but it's with all the Herbalists.

He didn't have any children of his own due to his job and him only having eyes for his best and dearest friend, Clarisse, so he often thought of Mia as his own daughter and he would do anything in the world to keep her and her grandmother safe, not only because it was his job but because he loved them both.

Joe lets a small smile tug and form on his lips before fading into a slightly confused look as tears well up in her eyes. "Princess-" He starts, fearing he did something wrong. He tries not to panic but instead listens to her as she expresses her gratitude. He softly blows out a sigh of relief.

"I talked with your mother earlier and she told me." He raises a brow and hums softly before cracking another small smile and reaching into his coat pocket. "Good thing I brought one." He replies, holding the green fruit tucked neatly into his hand, out to Mia with a soft laugh.

"I was going to, I just didn't know any good places where we could be away from prying eyes. I was also going to invite you to come with us. A dinner with my two best girls."
