You're not gonna believe what time it is. I'm going to talk about my TGC gijinka again, and you will listen.

It all started back in 2022. I had my collection of gaming companies gijinkas for a while at that point, and, since I became a Sky player, I decided to do TGC too. Somewhere near this point, my best friend started playing Genshin Impact and asked me to make a design for Mihoyo. We talked about our games and our companies a lot. We liked how people back then (right after TLP season) wished for Sky × Genshin crossover while these games are complete opposites. We thought: "Hey, wouldn't it be fun if TGC and Mihoyo were actual friends?". And when Sky made it to Playstation, we said: "Yes, they are definitely friends.". So we are here.

After Journey was released, TGC left Sony's court and became a free company. She lost the title of "Playstation champion", which only the most successful out of Sony's apprentices get, but TGC didn't want to look back. However, life in the wild had its own flaws. Especially crises. After years of surviving on her own, TGC is forced to return to Sony, or else she will be bankrupt.

It turned out that Sony's court had changed over the time that TGC was gone. There are some new faces here. One of them is Mihoyo, the new Playstation champion. Mihoyo was fascinated by TGC's care-free approach towards life, something workaholic like her din't understand. And TGC finally had someone to share her knowledge with. So these two start hanging out together. Pretty much, yeah. NOT SHIP.

I like their dynamic. Maybe I will draw them more often. BTW, do you want to know more about my gaming companies' world and story?

Okay Bionicle fans, I need your help with something.

Recently I got a physical copy of Bionicle the Game (2003) for Gameboy Advance, and it's hard as hell. To try to understand it better I dug through the manual, and found odd mention of a Cheats menu. The manual claims that this can be opened with some sort of command input (akin to the Konami code) and would allow Infinite Lives (dearly needed), Weak Enemies (helpful), and Mini Toa (totally unnecessary).

My research had some sources say that the menu was never implemented, while others say it exists and can be accessed via GameShark. However, no one seems to know the actual code to get in, meaning it can't be done on original hardware.

I hope to change that! If anyone has any info on this game, the Cheats menu, or is (or knows anyone who is) particularly savvy with datamining, please get in touch!

(I'm almost willing to run through every possible string of inputs to find it. But that'd be a last resort)

It took me 10 years to finally get a copy of Sunset Overdrive. (PlayStation fan) Upon finally playing it, I can positively say this game was worth the wait. From start to finish this game is the closest thing you’ll get to a roller coaster. It’s hilarious, fun to play, and the graphics are downright beautiful. In the modern day, theirs a stigma that “the harder the game, the better it is” this game does not follow those rules. It is very simple and will have you laughing in a “this is so stupid” manner. This game is made by “Insomniac” studios. The same company that has made Spiderman 1 and 2 on the PlayStation. It’s nice to see where they got their footing for those games. As if you read between the lines, you can clearly see where they drew inspiration from on their swinging mechanics. The traversing in this game plays similar to a Tony Hawk game and the entire world is like one big trampoline. The plot is not extremely important but in the story, a energy drink has turned the world into mutated monsters as you use a variety weapons at your disposal to complete side quests and look for a way to survive. Don’t be confused however, this isn’t a typical “zombie apocalypse” “Walking Dead” style game. Instead it has numerous 4th wall breaks and a ridiculous amount of meta styled comedy. It works beyond belief. The gameplay is alas extremely welcomed. Not a single mission is boring or repetitive. The side quest are a tad over used as it falls into the “big open world” trope many games do. This however does not deter from the experience. In the end, Sunset Overdrive will be remembered as a classic that’s fun, beautiful, and unique in every sense of the word. I’m gonna give Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One, a 9 out of 10. Check it out on Gamepass, you won’t regret it. A blast all the way to the end.
